Excellent.Originally I bought a 4g portable router.I went back as it stopped working.It was actually still in good working order, but I had somehow reset it to default.Their team is very patient and helpful and I for one, will use this particular store in future

Terrible service and experience with a R13 000 laptop, that did not last a year.Bought the laptop first hand from Matrix Stoneridge followed up with some upgrades from them on the laptop, came to pick it up and the laptop would no longer switch on and would shut down spontaneously, eventually they managed to get it to work.Laptop worked for roughly a year until it did not switch on anymore with and without the power supply. Took it to them to fix, but the laptop would not switch on by the time we got home. Booked it in for repairs with them for a week, where we werent even notified that the laptop was ready to be picked up, we had to keep checking and calling them. When we inquired what repairs were done in that week, they had no idea as the technician was now on holiday, so obviously no records or reports are being kept. I still dont know what happened during that week of repairs. This time the laptop did not even switch on by the time we got to the car.We were told it was the battery that needed to be replaced, isnt that what the laptop was in a week of repairs for, to be tested and checked? We would be notified concerning when a new battery arrived. After a few weeks we received no communication from them at all and had no choice but to take it to an external repair store, where they were able to replace the battery that day.A few weeks after this, the ports stopped working and the motherboard blew. Now were expected to pay possibly thousands more in repair fees, which has no guarantee to last, on a laptop just a year old and very well taken care of.

First time I have visited this store. Excellent service by all staff alike. Well stocked, impecably neat and tidy. Will definitely visit again should the need arise.

Only reason for 2 stars, is on buying 4 sata cables, the clerk indicated the total price as 170 plus rand. I remembered looking at the cables the day before and online they were listed as 19 rand each. I brought this up and magical he said that for me he can do 76 rand... So if you dont question the pricing youre being told you will get Fd hard over here.

Had to drive there for feedback on a repair because WhatsApp wasnt answered

After booking in a laptop, it was sent to a 3rd part for repair. I received my quote in a typed up whatsapp message (highly unprofessional) with the information that the quote could possibly go up. They were basically asking for a blank check with my signature. I was told thats how the IT world works and I havent been in it long enough. 3 and a half weeks later and 2x 3rd parties later I still wasnt given a fixed quote or even a diagnosis on the computer other than a need for main board repairs. The employee KG was absolutely no help. After borderline trying to commit insurance fraud to write a damage report to claim from my insurance for a new pc (so they could make a sale) I told them I want my laptop back and have taken it elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting service. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I have dealt with many Matrix stores over the years - All i can say is that Stoneridge Matrix is the best - the other guys should send their staff members to stoneridge for training on fast , efficient , friendly customer service. Never have a dealt with a team of such professionals found Stoneridge Matrix. Thank you Guys, you rock.

They take forever to repair hardware. They dont keep the client in the loop of things. You always have to call for an update. Only when I involved head office did they start communicating with me.

Item purchased stopped working after just a couple of months.Returned it to the store, complete, in the original packaging & was told it would have to be sent to the supplier, then was told the supplier had rejected the item due to a serial number issue.I explained how that was impossible and was promised it would be looked into.Heard nothing after 2+ months so went back to the store and was told the person dealing with it would call me the next day. No call.Went back two weeks later and was handed back my item, I asked if it was repaired and was informed it was.Checked the paperwork & queried why it was marked as dealt with just days after Id returned it & why Id never been notified. Was then informed that it actually hadnt been repaired after all. Made to wait 20 a further minutes before the store manager called the owner.Spoke to the owner & heard all kinds of excuses, from blaming staff who were no longer there, to suppliers, etcLeft with nothing resolved, after more than 3 months.

Always friendly service and willing to help. Best computer shop in the area.

Have been ordering PCs for my business in Sebenza from Matrix Stoneridge for the past few years. Last week we ordered another PC, however the unit was delivered on Friday afternoon without the DVD drive.My staff contacted Darryn who then said a technician would be sent to our warehouse first thing Monday morning to install the drive. And they did it.We all make mistakes, the difference is in how you handle those mistakes. The problem was rectified as mentioned and without delay.Now that is good service!

These guys know their game, and their prices arent half bad. I live more to the west side of town but I will travel trough to them rather than stuff around locally.
