Great teamwork and excellent service. I took my laptop to them to check compatible settings with a new screen and Michael, the IT man, immediately spotted a popped battery inside my laptop - even before opening it. It took a mere 24 hours to source a new battery, repair and return. Also a word of thanks to Tony for his technical advice, recommendations and willingness to assist. Well done.

I really would endorse Mr Computer Services in Alberton. I went just to upgrade my laptop and install an SSD. They were friendly, made sure to answer all my queries in an understandable manner and even kept in touch to provide an update on the progress. This PC store goes above and beyond.

We bought Office 2016 from MRC Alberton in 2018, the tax invoice supplied us with credentials for the account supposedly associated with the Office 2016 license, at the time their technician Michael setup the account and we had no issues until recently where something was wrong with the account, this time I went to take the notebook into MRC to see whats going on, they seem like very outstanding characters how ever kept on leading the conversation in the direction of having to purchase a new copy of windows, format the machine, and all sorts of billed services. Im not clued up with the entire process and contacted Microsoft support team which in the transcript provided key information that entails their irregular and illegal methods. Staying relevant to the issue, I found out that they registered Office 2016 that WE PURCHASED to THEIR account, and the login credentials they provided on the tax invoice was incorrect, we are now in a position where our business cannot continue because outlook isnt working because MRE Alberton pretty much kept the key they sold us, and are avoiding to provide us with the correct credentials to access a product we paid for.In light, they are professional, but they arent working for their clients, at least in our case, and perhaps similar cases, due to how they took our key, have caused us to return, and in them doing so are able to charge people who trust their IT services more money!I have more to say in the matter, such as the fact that they were unable to sort out the problems that they themselves caused, they fabricated multiple issues in order to lead us towards paying for them to fix the issues.Bottom line, if you buy from MRE Alberton, make sure you actually get the product you paid for. I will not speak for other poor consumers in other circumstances.At this time the technician that supposedly is the only one at the branch able to not assist, but to provide me with what we paid for many years ago, is never available.Microsoft managed to assist me in sorting out all the issues that they brought up, Im literally at the login screen now of my working product waiting for MRE Alberton to provide our purchased serial key, sorry to say but either their technicians are incompetent or they tried to scam us, because all the issues were averted with zero charge by Microsoft.Perhaps I should say that they do have a good range of goods there, Ive never heard of the store before and were it not for this some what sinister story going on there, I wouldve been using their services and products for the coming years.

Continuation of the previous review, after further communication the situation was resolved and the purchased key was mailed through in working order. So Ill give them a hesitant 4 stars based on the experience.

I phoned in looking for a laptop battery. I was assisted by a gentlemen named Gideon. He gave me excellent service, he ordered the battery for me and then literally the next day i went and collected it.This is excellent service that I never expected, as their competitor close by could not even get me a quotation in exactly 1 week, or even just phone me back after i called in twice.Thank you for great service mr computer

What a great experience at MRC. It was time to upgrade my Gpu and I needed good advice. Gideons advice and knowledge was highly appreciated, he went out of his way to get me the best Gpu in the shortest period of time. He kept me updated during the waiting period due to the shortage of Gpus. If you want great service I would highly recommend Gideon.

Outstanding workmanship and customer support. I used MRC on a security camera and access control installation at one of our student accommodation buildings. The system they recommended and installed is absolutely incredible and to top everything off they did an extremely neat and tidy job. I have dealt with numerous IT companies in the past and these guys have been one of the best companies I have worked with. Highly recommended if you want great service as well as quality products.

I had to replace a PC with very specific hardware requirements for a SCADA in a manufacturing plant. The guys here got the hardware, cloned the old drive and built a replacement unit in one afternoon. excellent service!

These guys focus on solutions. They get the job done. They solved my problem where others couldn’t.

Avoid like the plague.They opened up the wrapping for a keyboard in front of me. The staff member handled the product and I never touched it. After buying it, I brought it back several days later because the product did not look at all the same as the picture on the box did, not having removed the item from its plastic wrapping, but they refused to refund or exchange it because they claimed it was scratched. They are deceitful liars - dont buy anything here! They rub their rubbish old stock off of you and you will lose out big time.

Perfect service, store layout, area and computer services. Prices are quite pricy but understandably.

The price of items are very expensive compare than to other IT retailers. Strongly not recommend.
