As far as cemeteries go, It is a good place to say goodbye to your loved ones. Everything went well with our funeral. Thank you.

Shocking and disgraceful - cemetery has deterioted. No maintenance, litter all over the place. Disgusting and disrespectful from lack of management.

As much as i was so crushed going to visit my late grand daughter with her mom and dad seeing the graves of some celebrities ,tv personalities eg the late Mdu Masilela, Joe Mafela, Vuyo Mokoena MR sharp sharp,Mam Dorothy Masuka ,Mshoza as we walked to her resting place we forgot about our pain and started calling out their names laughing at some of thier jokes reminiscing on the time they were still with us . That moment healed our pain as we thought out loud on how our baby was with the celebs of our time by the time we got to our loved one we were able to pray song and be happy of 1 where she was laid and 2 that she was with God westpark is like a monumental site i dont know if it is the right word to use but it gave me peace to be honest

Its not cleaned, gravesites have weeds. They are busy with the new burials only. I feel that cleaning should improve. Municipality must inspect

Although its rather odd to review a cemetery, I sincerely believe that this one does. The whose who of South Africa have had their loved ones buried there. Its excellent for funerals with adequate parking.

I wish there was away that I could reach the office at the cemetery to find information on my mom that was buried there in 1979. I recall in the early 2000s reading about vandalism at the cemetery. It is indeed such a pity that members of society can not respect the final resting place of others. Even more heartless is that they mug those that want to visit their loved ones gravesite ......

Large cemetery in the middle of town which is still operational. The lawns are kept short and the graves are not overgrown and in reasonably good condition, so that you do not need to search for the gravestone of your relative.I would still not recommend visiting a grave that is isolated on your own, especially if it is on the southern side. Antisocial elements such as flakka and nyaope users seem to congregate there, as do Satanists with their nonsense. This problem seems to be worse in the afternoons. One thing that people can do that would help against this element(and also against copper thieves) is to call the Metro police if they see people sneaking about in the cemetery at night or climbing over the fence. One thing that is jarring was the fact that the cemetery still seems to be segregated by race and religion. If those signs are purely historic, this should be indicated and there wouldnt be a problem. However, if the practice is ongoing I dont see how this can be justified in a government cemetery 26 years after the fall of Apartheid.Otherwise Westpark is a salutary example for the nearby municipalities of Ekhuruleni(especially) and Tshwane to take note of.

Well maintained but the lack of security is daunting and makes it difficult to visit as often as one would wish, as one cannot go unaccompanied, and cannot carry any valuables, even things of sentimental value relating to the deceased.
