Last week Saturday was exceptional. On my Sons birthday we were honored by the civility of Spit Braai Masters. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. Fresh fruit salad and ice cream, pudding and custard, chocolate mousse, old fashioned bread and butter pudding,sherry trifle, creme caramel, apple crumble and peppermint crisp tartmay be the best dessert I’ve ever had! and thanks to all the staff who delivered their service in style. I highly recommend this brand. Take your five. Just annoyed I had to share it.

My nephew and his beautiful bride were totally let down by this caterer on their wedding day. In spite of numerous email confirmations with the correct date the caterer decided he should only deliver two days later. Whilst something was delivered, albeit without the presence of the owner who decided not to share his face but leave his staff to carry the debacle, the food that was served in no way matched what had been paid for and was, quite frankly, cold and inedible. DO NOT CONTRACT THE SERVICES OF THIS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE CATERER - THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU AND RUIN YOUR EVENT. I am forced to give them one star but they do not deserve a single star!

I left my best friends wedding starving because these caterers had their dates wrong after confirming dates with the couple on more than one occasion. Appalling.

Greatly disappointed in Spit Braai masters. I was absolutely looking forward to thier services. However on MY WEDDING, they some how got the dates mixed up (how I dont know there are 3 separate emails stating the date). They were scheduled to serve dinner at 17:30, after them rushing to put something together last minute (not the full menu or correct options) and me having to send someone to find them as they got lost, my wedding guests (those who waited patiently) only ate at 20:45 and due to the rushed situation the food was not hot. As one can imagine it completely ruined my wedding schedule and the overall outcome. You would think that management would come to the wedding and help staff fix thier massive error but no management or anything was sent. The only reason they get 2 stars is because of the 2 gentlemen who tried thier best to fix their managements mistake. And the food that was served was edible considering the above circumstances. Great disappointment as it left a stain on a special day. The two stars have been taken away due to lack of response and or accountability.

I used the Spit Braai Masters for my pool birthday party. They are so professional. Food was delicious. He even catered more than the original number anticipated. He was even kind to leave the spit braai for us overnight. Highly recommend. Loved it! Thank you Chris and team.

TERRIBLY DISAPPONTED!!!!Our function was the 8th of February 2020.The chef arrived 15 Minutes before function started, after we phoned him the morning of the function and confirmed the arriving time with him and Thabo. He was still offloading when the guest start arriving for the party.The tablecloth was DIRTY with holes in it.The dishes with the food was VERY DIRTY!We tried to phone the manager, but his cellphone was off, so we left a few messages to phone us back, till today...nearly 3 weeks after the function, he didnt make the effort to contact me!!
