What can I say,Totally disappointed with Service,Damages to Vehicle, Poor workmanship, Vehicle was never set up, Wiring untidy, a person by the name of Chris keep telling me that i am talking to myself which was rude because he accepted my job, then tells me that my car is old after blowing ignition and front sam in vehicle. Damage Steering height adjuster and tells me that it was like that when I drove the vehicle in running properly. Music as line noise, amps not going off when radio is put off, put in two batteries and still must have vehicle running to play music when it should work on immediate position. People out there please respond to me and tell me if anyone else has experience this poor and unacceptable service from Chris at craighall car radio because this service and quality of work is not acceptable.

Just got my car back. Happy with the overall job but some issues:1. The driver seatbelt bolt wasnt even attached anymore, I had to ask one of the guys in the workshop to come fasten it again. Its quite concerning because I mean its the seatbelt.2. There were a few marker marks still on the body work on the inside, had to ask the guy to go get thinners or something to go rub it off. He did so thats good.3. There are some hooks that were someone loosened for some reason that does not cover the panel needed to get to the speakers that are also loose. Its just a star screwdriver so Ill have to tighten that myself quick.Overall happy with it and the speaker setup now, but some quality assurance needs to be done before handing over a car to the owner.So if you are considering them to do your audio, go for it but honestly for you own safety just check that the job was done correctly.

But after reading through some of these reviews let me begin by saying this...The car audio industry is one which is HIGHLY misunderstood by the general public.Even your average sound enthusiasts fall victim to the many myths, misconceptions, misunderstandings, and simply a lack of knowledge, and a lack of knowing that there is a lack of knowledge which one might move subject to.I say this to make the following point... Ive had (what Id call) quite extensive interaction and experience with a handful of authorized Rockford Fosgate dealerships in our country.Please know one thing for certain... Chris knows what hes talking about.His personality and customer relation is very relaxed and forthcoming, while on point, accurateand professional. Hes willing to listen, adapt, and has a high level of respect and commitment towards the customers desires or final vision...Yes, hes busy almost all the time. Please note that theres a certain level of knowledge which his staff do not have full competency within. Chris is hands on. Hes fun. Hes accommodating and friendly, most of all my personal feeling is that his humility, his lack of arrogance and his willingness to listen is what sets him apart.Ive been to most of the big boy audio guys around the joburg area. And trust me when I say Ive met some arrogant, rude, and downright unprofessional professionals theres actually been 2 separate incidents at 2 separate places (both by the way which are big players in the car audio game) and... well.... I gave them some insight which left them feeling quite embarrassed Id imagine.Craighall Car Radjo has produced some amazing installations.I know first hand how overwhelmed Chris can get at times... however... note the flip side of his approach. Im sure its quite easy for him to appoint someone to take his place having discussions with clients while Chris migjt be out or busy... however he wants to ensure maximum satisfaction and the highest level of quality and worth as he possibly can.Also... last thing. His prices are super reasonable considering other dealerships (Rockford specifically)Id definitely recommend making an appointment with him and I feel absolutely confident that you will leave you with nothing less than total satisfaction.Thanks....

Had my TT here for some sound installation, spoke to Chris who did an amazing job with my rear covers. Sorted out some wiring and added some lighting and an amp for me. Very happy with the final result.

I have been driving my first car since 2008. Its a small noddy car, Diahutsu Cuore, with killer sound. My sound was done by Craighall Car Radio in 2008 and still the quality is impeccable and my car is still known as the boom box around town. I cannot live without good sound. Its a way of life. Installations are clean and professionalMostly deal Rockford Fosgate systems, pricing wasnt cheap for audio but for boxes and custom building of boxes its almost like other sound shops arent even trying. Custom made box came out at R1200, other shops charge pathetic prices of about R3,500.00Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable, proper, knows how to tune a sub box for the right frequencies offhand. This extends to installations that are considerate of the client and ensure neatness and functionality. I would do installations here even if I bought hardware elsewhere.The business is very customer orientated, which is very pleasant. Rockford is incredibly high end so everything is high quality.They had a very decent selection of cables as well.Will definitely be back.

The service and all round expertise were excellent. Although a car radio specialist, they solved an auto electric problem I had been experiencing for 2 years!!

Trustworthy above all, brilliant goes without saying. Family business operating since... 80s? I used them since 92. Never needed to look for better, plain and simple.

They do batteries and other auto things as well as radios.Super helpful staff - nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.Pricing is pretty much the same as you can get elsewhere.

Awful experience from the get go, paid for many things to be done on my vehicle, Reevo parts were fitted only to find out by taking my car to Reevo themselves to find the problem as the car always went into protection mode that most/all installations were incorrect causing damage to my car and more unnecessary costs involved. asked for vinyl to put on the exterior sides of the car which I then found out, only after 1 week where the car was not washed at all, the vinyl started peeling off and that Craighall car radio/Custom One actually cut the vinyl while on the vehicle severely damaging the paint work. 😡 akrapovic exhaust tips were put on, only to have them fall off, This all costs alot of hard earned money that has now just gone down the drain due to useless companies CRAIGHALL CAR RADIO AND CUSTOM ONEThis was all done on the intention of good clientele, workmanship, parts and outcome of some vehicles. which in actual fact so highly disappointed, from all the lies, decete and broken promises to fix the damage caused,,after countless sms,phone calls and driving all the way there, nothing was done to rectify the problems they have caused.Save your hard earned money and go somewhere reputable.I would not recommend Craighall car Radio/ Custom One to anyone.

Absolutely not professional takes a week to install a car radio then its extremely poorly fitted no brackets used not all componants as per quote of radio was installed Chancers not Trustworthy at all Please do not pay deposits or any moneies before any work is done to them or job completed The worst experience I had in 2017
