Since I purchased my vehicle, all communication has been sent via email and I requested it that way, for a reason!!! Today I received 3 of the same letters in the mail!!! Why the sudden change???! I do not own a private post box and ANYBODY couldve opened up my letters and had all my vehicle and personal information.Extremely unprofessional and puts me at risk!!!

Vehicle finance was in arrears & extremely rude when trying to arrange payment options. While busy with communication on email, someone pitched up with a notepad with writing on stating they want to collect the vehicle. They could not supply any form of documentation and did not even have the contact details of the person whom is handling the account at mfc. And the most shocking is the person whom arrived said she was in the neighborhood and recognized the address and thought she will quickly pop in and collect the vehicle. When I informed this to mfc, the lady laughed and said they can do what they want! I have never in my life been so disrespected and this with a corporate company like this under extreme economic conditions at this stage.

I paid the vehicle up in full. They are making me the client wait more than 24 hours to receive the vehicle. My Lawyers are already on standby if the vehicle is not handed over to Me the rightful owner along with vehicle papers by tomorrow.They get random attorneys to perform illegal repossessions by forcefully snatching the keys out of the ignition, not to mention they threaten to lock you up and then they still expect you to pay them. My attorneys will be filing for loss of income and my civil human rights which were invaded by the excessive force of removing the keys out of the ignition!!!I would never recommend MFC and thanks to MFC I will be taking my business to a different bal. Im even closing my business account with Nedbank!!!

Dear MFCI think that people often use reviews to have a moan.Id like to thank and commend you.2020 was a tough year for many people, myself included. I lost my job due to C19 and could not keep up my payments. As usual the call-center is where an experience is made or broken. I only have good things to say each time I called. And it was plenty. Friendly agents, compassionate, knowledgeable and wanting to help.I was offered various solutions and guided through each process and the implications and benefits thereof.I honestly felt like each person I dealt with treated me like I was a victim of circumstance and truly wanted the best outcome.I cant say the same for some of my other credit providers who Ive had to block due to blatant harassment.2021 is better and Im back in the saddle and already making inrounds into my outstanding balance.Well done!

I have not been getting statements but they are just there to take your money and not help. Spoke to an agent and he put me on hold. I have been on hold for 26min 43 sec and still on hold. My call started at 08:05 am. Worst ever. Always strugling with MFC. Hate it

I decided to purchase a caravan private exactly 7 days ago and handed my application in on Thursday afternoon. Friday morning already I had a positive answer. The assistance I got from Thando Meyers and Phillip Mashishi was simply SUPERB. I thought the whole process will be very difficult seeing that it is a private sale. The vehicle had to be sent to Dekra for roadworthy etc. Thando and Phillip have been there for me every step of the way. I could email them at any time with something I dont understand or am unsure about, and I got an immediate answer. They were friendly, pleasant to deal with, extremely professional and a real asset to MFC. I will be honest, I am not used to this high level of service. It was a welcome change. Thanks, guys. You have made me proud to be with MFC/Nedbank. I am SO looking forward to get my caravan tomorrow.

Terribly slow service, empty promises, draining experience. Promises of 5-10 days for a P2P financing application (I am on day 13 with nothing to show), will e-mail you shortly (no, they wont), will be ready by Friday (its Tuesday and not ready as yet), etc. are made to let you as customer feel as if youre going to get service from this company. The reality is, they dont keep to anything they say, and you have to follow up everyday just to keep the ball rolling. Even with that, you dont get the service you expect - you just go to bed knowing you did everything from your side.For a well known institution - they clearly have NO worry about their reputation.

On Aug 13th I contacted Monica Malatji from MFC to settle my account. She sent through the settlement quotation on the 21th August, I then made payment in full as per settlement quotation on the 24th August. On the quotation it had cleared stated that the amount includes the courier cost to deliver the vehicle registration papers as well as the CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP FEE of R331.75Until the 5th November (2 and a half months later) I had been struggling to get a response from Monica Malatji. Every time I phoned, she said she would phone me back in 2 mins or the next day but she never did.I got soooooo frustrated and eventually on 5th November I physically went to MFC in kempton park because I had zero luck in getting my Natis back from MFC or getting hold of Monica Malatji in that matter. I spoke to both the supervisor and the manager at the office, only then I was told there was an outstanding amount of R3501.28 that I still needed to pay. When I checked the second settlement quotation I realized that they double charged me for the courier cost and the CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP FEE. They had then promised to revise the figure, as well as to use an overnight courier service to deliver the Natis.The next day I received the final settlement amount which turned out to be even more expensive than what had stated on the second settlement quotation. At that point I just wanted to get it over and done with so I didnt argue further and made the payment the very same day.It took them another week to send the registration paper. When I had finally received the registration paper and it turned out that the vehicle is STILL in MFCs name. I then sent another email to Monica Malatji and questioned why I had paid for change of ownership, and after she told me twice that the delay was caused due to they were BUSY WITH THE OWNERSHIP CHANGE! All my emails to Monica Malatji ever since have been ignored completely.The service (if there was any) received by Monica Malatji and others from MFC was beyond ridiculous. 3 different settlement quotations and 3 months time. MFC was either trying to rob you where they can, or they just simply cannot do basic maths calculations. On top of which they put someone who ignored all your phone calls and emails to in a position to deal with you. It is by far worst customer service Ive ever experienced.And also, when is MFC going to refund me the R331.75 FOR CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER DONE???!!!!

Transferring the service plan over to me after purchasing a second hand vehicle was seamless and when I had an issue that was partly my fault, MFC rectified it for me and went beyond the call of duty. Cant ask for more than that. Thank you Clinton.

Will be moving our finances and business somewhere else. I wanted to move my companys bank account to Nedbank but after having terrible terrible service from MFC i think i will not. Our matter doesnt seem to get sorted out or assisted with and hello peter will be contacted as well as the ombudsman. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

Shocking service. After days of trying to sort out my account, I was kept on hold again and again for over 30 minutes.Going from one department to the other. Even after my insurance settling my account weeks ago, no contact person and no notifications.No one has a clue what is going on with which account, so the client ends up in a rabbit hole of on-hold music and transferrals.Unacceptable for a finance house to be so disorganized.

Horribly slow service. I was told the p2p finance takes about 5-10 working days. I have been waiting for almost a month. One has to follow up everyday and thats not even enough. Consultants do not let you know whats happening - the customer has to follow up constantly. Customer service at MFC is close to non-existent. Pathetic!

MFC have loads of employees hired for the sole purpose of copy pasting generic useless responses and telling you to email people who will provide you with more of these said useless responses. (Or not respond for a week because they don’t care to check their mail) Very quick to take your money but other than that MFC is completely incompetent - they talk and act the part, unfortunately that doesn’t get anything done when it comes down to it. I’ve given them so much room for improvement and still they have no ability to solve or improve any situation or questions presented to them. I’m amazed really - I never thought it would be possible to run an entire business with so many people who refuse to think further than the desk in front of them. Why have intelligent AI systems when you can have brain dead parrots I guess.

Many years ago I financed two vehicles through MFC. Even then the service was sad, but now it is a thing of stark terror. For the past four months I have been trying to get a set of coherent documents for a car I paid of in 2005. Despite receiving five sets of documents, not one of these sets of documents was complete and for the right vehicle.Do not use these people if you have any choice in the matter.

Trying to change my debit order to my new bank account number??? Been trying from February 2018. With every try they seem to want another thing which werent initially asked for. WTH? Today their email response said, I can contact the call center to do the change by phone, but the MFC staff member wants me to fill out a form again....Whilst every other institution has been completely helpful and has streamlined processes to do a bank account change, MFC staff were completely unhelpful on every occasion of contact. Your call center agent also talks over you, not giving you space to talk...Will just take my business elsewhere.
