Luvies cakes are the best. Their cake is moist and tastes delicious. Winston is so professional and good at what he does. Give them a try and thank me later.

I am not one to write reviews but with Luvies, i had to. I ordered a cake for my wedding and although i gave them a design, something totally different from their style of cakes especially for weddings, they NAILED IT!!! The cake was fresh and very tasty and prepared on time .Thanks to Mel, Godfrey and the team. You guys are the best..

We visited Luvies for breakfast and was blown away. The atmosphere was pleasant with excellent service provided. The menu was great with lots of healthy options to choose from. The food was really good and reasonable portions. We were really taken aback with the presentation of our food & could see there was pride taken in preparing & presenting our Meal to us. Will definitely be visiting Luvies again soon.

I visited Luvies last Sunday with my family and was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. We had our meals from the breakfast menu and the taste, presentation and service was world class. The portions were generous and the menu catered for our young family as well as my wife who loved the healthy alternatives. A definite must in Jhb, will be back to explore the lunch menu, go on take a few friends, service was fabulous.

This is the first time in my life that I am writing a review on anything. But i feel that this needs to be said.I will make a list of the good and the bad and my conclusion.Good:Friendly staffHealthy imageBad:Chefs work in open top shoes.The clothing the chefs are wearing doesnt seem like it has ever been washed.Constantly hear the kitchen shouting.Kitchen door seems to be held up by a wireThe one waiter had a bleeding nose, he pushed allot of toilet paper up his nose and continued to serve guests.The newspaper section is a week old.Based on their bathroom hygiene the place should be closed down immediately.Conclusion:Taking all the above into consideration I will never go back again.Management should be fired.

Delicious food, great staff and to top it all a Cake Boss experience... will recommend Luvies to everyone... see you guys early next year...

Been a loyal supporter of Luvies since they opened....never been dissapointed. Their novelty cakes are amazing! Love the ambience of their new coffee shop.

Poor service. Lack of accountability. Not prepared to do what is required to keep customer happy even after a mess up on thier side. Manager refuses to take responsibility for his staff actions.Godfrey hides in the back and ask his staff to lie and say he is not in for the day.Do dont bother giving them a thought if quality matters to you.

Luvies creativity & customer service is second to none. They should definitely be on your speed dial to sweeten up all your special occasions

Mediocre bakery. The food is substandard as is the coffee. Smoothies are made with syrup when there’s a poster displaying fresh fruit smoothies at the front of the store. Food is bland, and not fresh. Lay out of tables not comfortable. Not recommended.

I will NEVER recommend Luvies Bakery to anyone after the way I was treated by the so called owner Melanie Pillay. She has no respect for her clients after screaming at me (the client) in the middle of the shop. I will NEVER recommend Luvies Bakery and I will NEVER buy anything from them again. SHOCKING SERVICE TO SAY THE LEAST!
