Tashas Rosebank is always bustling. There is minimal decor but has an open setting which is great for ventilation. Very mediocre food. Not bad, not the best. It is again a very average brunch place. So come to catch up with friends. Food portion sizes have shrunk compared to pre-pandemic.

Great restaurant! The atmosphere and vibe is a mixture of the hustle of Rosebank but also tranquil. Wide variety of quality food to choose from. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. All COVID-19 protocols are in place and adhered to.

Had breakfast there this morning. The ambiance is too good. Food came quickly. It is a bit up class, so be prepared to dig deeper than average. You wont regret it.

The service was super. Great for a quick coffee, a catch-up with friends, or even a good old lunch. Tashas also has crafted signature menus for each specific restaurant. This one is inspired by New York and definitely worth recommending. Sophistication meets simplicity.

The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the decor is very unique in a good way. Service was great but they seem to get lost when they are busy. Overall experience was worth it. Its a bit pricey but you can get quality food for under R100. Highly recommend.

Was extremely busy and quite a long wait for the food but the wait was worth it. The presentation of the food and friendliness of the waitress was amazing. I love their sides, especially the goat cheese. Great vibe but gets extremely noisy at times. The Chicken Rice Salad and the Sao Paulo was delicious!

The location is spacious and clean, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside was especially lovely in the spring.The food is delightful and delicious, with fresh ingredients and really nice combinations of flavours and textures. Its a touch pricey but a great experience nonetheless!

A great buzzing cafe, open before 7am for a delightful breakfast or catch up with friends. Situated in the rosebank mall and easy access to gautrain this is a perfect stop off. The food is always of exceptional standard and the portions are large! Absolutely love the decor and vibe!!!!

Enjoy having a coffee or dessert over here! Always tend to have the warm Malva pudding dessert, or the chocolate slice. I frequent the Nelson Mandela Square Johannesburg branch as their dessert menu and overall menu is different to other branches. The Turkish delight virgin mocktail is really good. And if you want to pop in for breakfast, their Hummus toastie is delicious.

Rosebank Tashas... Every Tashas knows how to bring it but this one was exceptionally different and I love that... The green bush deco and background is enough to make me you happy... Im looking forward to another visit and of course the food amazing.

One of the best restaurants Ive ever eaten at and more over, one of the best branches of Tashas Ive ever eaten at. The food was absolutely delicious, the waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and committed to great service. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely like the style and decor of the restaurant.

Its a hit-and-miss for me. Mostly a miss though. The Tashas brand overall is great. Lovely menu overall but this specific one doesnt quite get it right.Im not sure if its because its ALWAYS packed and staff are rushed to get the food out. The waiting staff are always frantic and tending to about 59 different things at once, so be prepared to wait.And I mean wait, and wave and wait some more. I think the roles are reversed here and Im the waiter. Because you wait to be seated. Wait, for the menu. Wait, for the drinks, food, bill... everything everything nje you wait. Its a waiting game. Bustling, vibrant eatery, great for early breakfast, brunch or lunch, with a range of gluten free and vegetarian options on offer. Some larger tables available for groups or communal eating for solo diners

The menu at Tashas is not extensive but the limited selection exudes tons of quality. I had a chicken breast crumbed in couscous and parmesan with a salad and goats cheese. The meal was tasty and the ingredients (especially the salad) fresh. The menu has an extensive wine list priced reasonably both by the bottle and by the glass. The restaurant is set on a busy walkway within the Rosebank Mall but it affords decent views, especially on a sunny afternoon. All in all, I would recommend the establishment both for a quick or lazy lunch as well as for fine dining.

Just wowThe food is always tops.Breakfast or brunch here is great.But so is cake and tea.The food is consistently delicious as a person who has been more than a handful of times.The setting is beautiful. Flowers and fanciful books hanging from the ceiling. It is a beautiful place to be.

The food here is always great. Recently had the salmon fish cakes and it was divine. It had tons of flavor and came with a potato and fennel salad which went very well with the sauce for the fish cakes. I opted to eat the fish cakes on their own as they were so tasty that any condiments or even the sides were detracting from the awesomeness of the fish cakes. I also had the jasmine tea as a beverage and it was proper, leaves in a cloth tea bag. I also enjoyed the tea very much. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice outside lunch for those lazy Sundays.

Very efficient sanitizing steps to get into Tashas, which continues inside, every-other table can be used, table and chairs cleaned before we sat down. Generous portions of delicious hot breakfast, and capuccino strong as we requested. We were looked after very well by Brenda.

The most delicious food I have ever tasted!A bit pricy though for a student. But managed to get one of the cheapest meals and it was delicious, a very classy place to have a lunch date, will definitely visit again soon when I have money!

Nice decor. Pleasant service. I had the fillet pasta. It was really bland and unseasoned - both the sauce and the meat. I had to drown the food in garlic, chillies, salt and pepper for it to have any taste. I was really disappointed considering the price of the dish.

The only down side to this Tashas is its really busy! Understandable considering how many offices there are in the area so its a popular choice for lunch.The food however is really great and I love their special menu compared to other Tashas!

Tasha’s is always good. This particular restaurant does not however have its own toilets. One has to use the center’s.Also the waiters are very quick in clearing your table which in this particular instance they took my unfinished drinks.

This Tashas is consistently busy, so you do often have to wait to get a table. The food is generally high quality and the menu has a great variety (including some good vegetarian options), but the service is extremely slow (every single time I have been we have not received our orders by the time our drinks were finished).It is often too noisy to sit comfortably inside if you actually want to carry on a conversation, so sit outside if the weather permits.If you have the time, its a great place to go for lunch. If you are looking for a quick, nice meal during your lunch hour, I wouldnt recommend it.

Waiters came across extremely curt and hasty took out drinks away before we were done, while we were still eating, with out asking, then said theyd give us another one which never came! such a pitty such great food with poor service!

Tashas is a vibrantly buzzing restaurant. Dont be surprised if your arrive at peak time and youre given a ticket to join the waiting list. Food is superb, drinks are great. Service is good. The restaurant only seems to be open for breakfast and lunch. I didnt enjoy the kitchen bell being abruptly pinged constantly.

Nice restaurant. Decent food with outdoor seating. The menu items have premium prices though (breakfasts over R100 for example). Indoor seating when the restaurant is full is very noisy due to ceilings that seem to echo all the noise back into the restaurant, so perhaps they should look at the acoustic design of the place.

Whilst I am a huge fan of Tashas, Im not particularly in love with the calibre of staff they employ. Somehow black people think they are doing us a favour to serve other black people especially woman. I find this to be extremely distasteful. Im a paying client like everyone else and no man or woman are doing me favours by serving me.Food on the other hand is consistently good.

Awesome food with awesome service!I worked down the road and would on a regular basis place phone orders with Tashas staff so that it would be ready when I arrived. Most staff were always friendly and helped me quite quickly. Food was always of the same good, fresh quality and always tasted great.The only gripe was that it was always busy and as such, even when placing a telephonic order I had to wait regularly even after arriving some 20-25 minutes later, and didnt always have a place to sit to wait. Other sit-down patrons were even less fortunate....All in all though the food was consistently amazing. Portion sizes were huge. Food was fresh, perfectly cooked and made for great eating.
