Always make excellent hookahs. I like the fact that you get to choose which kind of coals you want them to use. Wish the place was bigger and the food menu had a bit more variety. If you are looking for a place to smoke hookah that is made the right way, there are few places better.

The service was awful. We were shocked to meet a Caucasian stranger at the table across us who told us they treated him much better than they did to us. Extremely disappointing.

I was here last Friday and was sadly disappointed. Im normally a regular and never have a complaint,however the service this past week was terrible the waitress that we had was not helpful or friendly she was plain rude.

They have nice hubbly pipes. The owners are so welcoming. They play vibey music. Their beverages were at the perfect temperature. Its clean and COVID-19 precautions are observed. I loved it!

That white sauce, I dont know what it is or what its called but I crave it every single day! The owners are such nice people and even offered to walk my friend and I to our car! The only issue I have is the waiters can be a bit slow, but whenever I go there the place is packed so its understandable

Finding a great place to sit and enjoy a good Hookah pipe during the covid pandemic has been challenging to say the least. I had an amazing time catching up with my old friends, experienced great service and a nicely made hookah which tied everything together.

We have watched this place improve from 2015 in all aspects, from the infrastructure of the building itself, to the staff and consumables. Their hubbly is a bit pricy but totally worth it, you’re not left wanting or fidgeting with your pipe. Your coal is always being replaced without you having to ask and that’s a huge plus. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating - another plus. Lastly, the food is delicious. We ordered halloumi to start and a mushroom burger for the main - just plain yummy. How can I forget the cocktails?? They are made very well, you actually get a good drunken kick from them. Although we haven’t tried the other options they have, we are hooked on “Walk Me Down” and “A Call to Good Fellows” also a little price but definitely value for money. The music is great although it can get repetitive but it’s a great vibe for a Friday night or a Sunday afternoon.

If you enjoy hookah you will like this place. The shwamas are good too.

The music is way too loud. This is a place where you need to shout to hear someone sitting right next to you. The shisha is not the greatest and the food is really bland. The service is however efficient though.

We had trouble finding the place. It does not have branding that is visible from the road. It has one small sign which is only visible when you are standing right in front of the place. The previous restaurants branding is still up above the entrance, which is very misleading.Smoking is not restricted to only the smoking area, which contravenes South African law.The bathrooms are dirty and not well kept.The food is good, and inexpensive. The service is average.

Always has a vibe. Affordable. Only problem is their rubbish sound system which is cranked to full volume on an all too regular basis leaving you with tinnitus every time.

Weekend nights the cafe comes alive to the sounds and sights of Lebanese music and belly dancers, to the latest in HipHop and pop tunes while enjoying great company. Jounieh café comes highly recommended for just about any occasion.
