The Spar offers a wide variety of local and German products. It also boasts a fantastic coffee shop, Bean There, which is packed on week-ends. The variety of breads & pastries took my breathe away. It also has a small health section, great variety of fruit & vegetables

Utterly DISAPPOINTED by the customer service I received from one of the managers (Mr. J.D). The lack of Equally is honestly disrespectful towards human being, let alone your own customers. You cant treat certain customers like royalty and others like peasants.On the bright side- the food is always fresh.

Very very good. After a frustrating Friday and Saturday just the idea of cooking was daunting. We got beef stew and chicken curry with vegetables. It was so tasty and well proportioned. I was amazed. We then decided to have their Sunday carvery. Once again exceeded my expectation. Thanks for goid wholesome meals at a reasonable price

The customer service here is excellent. A lady staff assisted me with locating products. One of the cashiers tagged Vuyisiwa gave highly professional service. She deserves a 5 star. This Spar is a small, family friendly store which has so much in its cozy space.I love Spar. Maybe because I find more at their stores both in Lagos and Johannesburg or because they position more healthy food options to the view. Not sure. But by virtue of living closer to a Spar, we shall part no more hopefully!

Saw a rat running around. I informed two people. The first lady laughed. The second man asked how big it was and then laughed. When I explained that I thought it wasnt funny he blamed the exterminator that apparently comes twice a month which revealed to me it is a persistent problem. I mentioned that vermon indicates that food is being left out and general poor hygiene and the man got defensive. I thought he was rude and uninterested in my opinion.

Its conveniently situated and the tellers are friendly but they always are out of stock of certain things and the produce is often rotting or old.

The Spar has vegetable curry & spinach and feta pies which is great (and rare) to find. Thats a huge plus for me. The store is usually neat & tidy, the staff friendly and they have a great bakery section. Attached to them is the Beantree Cafe which is a nice touch. You can get milk alternatives for your drinks too. There is WiFi available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Worth a visit.

Im afraid theres nothing super about Melville Superspar. Their selection is often either very limited or depleted and the floor staff are incredibly inconsiderate of customers, often blocking the way with their trolleys and making zero effort to allow customers to pass. Many Spar brand items just arent even stocked here. I hardly ever leave the shop without having to head to another store to finish my required shopping. All that said, their bakery produces great products and I highly recommend their garlic buns.

Melville Super Spar will continue to operate at normal trading hours, 7:00-20:00 through the Easter holidays.

They are doing sanitizing at the door with thermometer Reading before entering. All staff have masks and store in clean and open till late. So good option in the area.

Really poor variety of various vegetables. Meat in the butchers section looked old, and theyre charging R70 for 2 bruised avocados.Wont be going back there.

I had a concerning experience with an employee at this spar. I phoned the spar directly to tell them about it and was greeted by a lady named Mellisa. She was very proffesional and calm even though I was definitely irrate and somewhat confronting. She stayed calm and assisted me through the trouble I had regardless. Mellisa kept in contact with me and phoned me back once the situation was rectified.Very good experience with the customer service and very impressed with the composure of the staff who assisted me. The only reason for the three stars is because of the incident. The customer service is definitely 5/5

Quick and convenient shopping. Good selection of fresh produce and a wide array of freshly baked goods. Hot counter for take away meals is very populat. Management staff are helpful and available. Boerie rolls available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Convenient parking available with a car wash in the basement.

Unfortunately this is the closest shop to my house. They never have anything!! I almost awlwayd end up going to checkers instead. They have no meat variety, no good fast food, their prices are WAY higher than anywhere else, but the staff are very friendly (not the managers, they are very rude to the staff). The store is very cramped. Needs a total revamp!

I went to this SPAR for the first time on Friday and was truly impressed. A great selection of food, baked goods, fruit and veges. Was definitely pleasantly surprised at how clean the shop was. The staff were friendly as was my car guard. I shall definitely be back to try it again.

This is a good Spar! The bakery goods are not as fresh as they could be. Their salads are good. There is variety in this store.
