Staff was helpful but slow. I dont mind the waiting but when your in a rush it can become a problem. Food wise their meat are great. Cooked food fantastic a definitely must try!!! They dont allow their customers to take more than 2 example milk when on special which sucks big time!!! Other wise its a great shop but what makes Spar awesome is weekends when they have Boere wors rolls for sale!!Yummy!

I love the boerewors rolls, they juicy and delicious prepared on a braai outside the shop. The shop is clean with helpful staff and on the center there Pizza Perfect and Spar Tops bottle store, have Nedbank ATM outside and FNB inside the store.

Hendrik is a Good Manager. Easily approachable and always makes a plan to help the customer.The shelves are well stocked.Only one issue I have...Cashiers on the tills are rude and arrogant with an exception of one or two.

This Spar has become too expensive. They do not have a fixed price policy on certain goods. Prices get changed anytime.

Its OK. Its small. And its the only supermarket around Walkerville. If you want another place to buy groceries you have to either go to southgate or mall of the south which are quite far. Has most things that other supermarkets have. Considering that its the only supermarket for people living in Walkerville I think they should consider making it bigger and renovating

They dont have vicks vapour rub......please they to order some its winter we need it

Spar Walkerville is very clean and the service is great...!!!

Walkerville Spar has been really good during the lockdown period. We can get everything we need for our groceries, and most of those extra goodies we like as well. The friendly staff that do the sanitizing and control of numbers of people at the entrance do an outstanding job, and make us feel safe and welcome.

Nice and clean. Right next to a sasol gas station. Has fresh meat and veggies.

Shelves are constantly empty and the prices are rediculous. again today 22/05/2021

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE, IF THERE IS A MINUS RATING, THATS WHAT I WOULD POST.I went there to buy a bottle of Stoney, why do THEY insist that I must carry a basket to enter the store? As for management when I complained about this, they can go to hell!! Thanks for leaving was the answer when I dropped the cold drink and walked out.NEVER, NEVER WILL I RETURN TO THAT STORE. I ADVISE ANYONE I KNOW TO AVOID SHOPPING THERE!

I live nearby, I support the local SPAR when possible. Staff is nice, I have known some for years now. Problem is Management. Simple items like the oven baked bread never in stock. If this SPAR could learn from others like the Bertrams SuperSpar, they would own Walkerville for sure.

Pretty good staff

Bought frozen sausages and frozen veg yesterday. Only noticed when I got home they were half defrosted. Was too late to go back as the shop had closed. This has happened to me before. Just unacceptable that this keeps happening.

Can not rate this Spar, absolutly very BAD SERVICE, even worse Management, they just tell you they dont care. Would not recommend this place for any shopping.

Walkerville is still a small town and the Spar is a very handy small-town shop. They dont have everything and sometimes their stocks run out but in general I find it very convenient to be able to run to the Spar for what I need. Service is friendly and helpful.

One of the better Spar stores that I have been to. Very nice rapport and atmosphere. Three words to describe ALL the staff that works there, from the security to the cashiers, bakers, everyone: Helpful, Friendly, Respectful.

Never any specials on a Friday. Amazing that this happens every week. Akso Ive never seen any other spar write the amount per customer on their tags. Even with that, no stock. When I go on Monday morning will I find the racks still empty. This should be the case seeing that they sold all their stock by Friday ????

Apart from these Afrikaaners who still think SA belong to them, The place is okay
