I’m not from Johannesburg but when I do visit, Forsmay is a must stop for us. When it comes to wagyu, speak to Najeeb. He is very helpful. The butchery, is spacious and clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. I’ve tried many products but it’s so hard to choose because there’s a wide range available. The processed foods are delicious. The lamb sausages are so juicy and it’s not greasy at all. Next time I’ll have to take one of each product! 🙃

Super clean and organised butchery. Lots of variety. Meat is of a very hight quality. Their dry aged beef, while pricey, is worth every Rand. They also keep pantry items like pastry doughs, par, rusks and other goods produced by small businesses. Its a really good shopping experience.I also had an awesome teller one time who was really friendly. Forsmay keep it up.

My best butchery experience in JHB thus far. Really wide variety of already marinated meats across different meat options. Ive been looking for a good meat supplier with the right use of spices in their marinades ever since leaving the coast, where meat is cheaper and the spices are better, and Foresmay really is the best alternative.

Forsmay is a renowned name that I grew up with and they have always provided really awesome quality meat as well as unwaveringly excellent customer service. I am pleased that the shop is much bigger and able to cater for the masses. The environment is always clean and welcoming. Jazakallah Uncle Naeem and Tauseef for never dropping quality at all.
