Was assisted by Tumelo, who went above and beyond with every step of the process. They did not have the item I wanted in stock at the Cresta branch, yet rather than simply turn me away, he made a plan to have my item delivered from another branch, and ensured it arrived before the end of the sale the item was on. When I went to pick up the item, i payed cash and was swiftly assisted by the store manager who ensured the cash was counted on camera, in front of myself and another staff member. Professional from start to finish.

It was difficult to make an appointment online. The tech staff said a magsafe wireless charger would work for our phone but a sales staff member said it would not. How does that happen? Wont go back to iStore Cresta again

Great experience. Had to get a replacement for my iPhone cover that was still under warranty. The whole process was really quick and efficient and the staff dealt with the exchange professionally. Would highly recommend iStore Cresta Mall. Keep up the good work!

The guy in this store went beyond measures to help me update a app. He was very friendly. At a stage my husband got angry because it took so long but he calmed him down in a split second he was phenomenal I really appreciate the ustomer service he provided to me and will always go back there if I got a problem I noticed the other staff was just as friendly one customer spoke in Afrikaans and thr assistant answered in Afrikaans he was beyond shocked and I just burst out laughing they really good wit their customers

Terrible service at Istore Cresta. I was assisted by a consultant named Khanya Tutani and seemed so disinterested in helping me. Took forever to process my upgrade and when he finally did I then decided that I would rather take a newer phone model, which was a bit of an inconvenience on my side, I will admit, but did not warrant me the kind of service I received from him post that. Long story short, he did not cancel the contract on time which resulted in me being billed for a phone I do not have. What’s worse is that I had to follow up on my end as nobody was communicating whether it was done or not.Gave them a benefit again, this time around I’m assisted by a consultant named Thenjiwe Sithole who promised that she would provide feedback on the status of my application after 48hours and she has not. Literally just followed up, awaiting to hear from them.Overall experience at this particular store was not great. Needs a lot of improvement!

My experience was EXTREMELY poor at this particular iStore. I was there at 09:30, thinking that the store would be quiet, but my contract was not sorted, by the time I left the store at 12pm, due to supposed system issues with the network provider. In my view, the store is seriously understaffed and the general processes which staff have to follow for contracting, fulfilling a sale etc. impacts their ability to provide the required level of service. The staff try to speed up things and get Customer requirements met, but the processes seriously holds them back. Then, there is one person stuck in the ‘Training room’ with a heap of paperwork, which should rather be pushed out to a less busier time, and that person should help and try to alleviate some pressure from the staff on the floor. The undue pressure, as a result of the high number of walk-ins, with each Customer having their own needs and having a limited number of people who they can speak to and get information from, to finalize their purchase or decision, makes the staff look ‘slow’ and unwilling to help. That may the reason for the store always being full, with seemingly impatient Customers, and it basically comes down to bad Management. The iStore at Clearwater usually has a person standing at the door, with a tablet, who greets Customers and gets to know their requirement and he advises them what is required of them, to get their needs fulfilled - instead of them waiting and getting to a consultant, only to hear that they need to provide additionalDocs etc. He then logs a ticket and you get an SMS with a number. The Customer is then advised to go about their shopping and that they will receive a call when a consultant is ready to see them. This helps in avoiding the store being filled up with people waiting around to be helped, while the Consultants are busy seeing to other Customers, I’m sure this process helps the Management team, based on data collected, to determine how many staff they need at the store during the week and on weekends, to meet the demand. Be it temp staff, such as students, or permanent staff. The Cresta store has always had this issue. You always see the store ‘busy’. Management at this store needs to get their act in order and not simply expect for staff to manage the store by themselves.

Queued this week, for 1 1/2 hours to get service for an Apple Mac that wouldnt switch on. Eventually was told it needed to be sent off for servicing and all info would be wiped off. Since I didnt know the icloud password, I was told to take it home and bring it back the next day. Fortunately, a private computer guy found out the charger was faulty and all that was wrong was the battery was flat.WORST was one technician in the small back space wore his mask below his nose the whole time. When I asked him to wear it properly he said my glasses mist up he looked at me and noticed I too wore glasses BUT wore my mask properly

Im disappointed in the service I received at this branch. All of the staff were friendly and did ask whether I was helped or not which was wonderful. I went in with my Mac that wouldnt boot up after a software update and kept giving an error. The technician didnt even spend two minutes with me to see what I was speaking about before requesting a R500.00 consultation fee. He also spent the duration of my time with him on the phone with an airpod in.It took me 30 minutes and a free call with Apple support to resolve the issue.

Went in to get a charger. Just needed to make sure it was the charger and not my laptop. The trainee was nice and pleasent. I was sent to the tech guys behind. He tried it for a second then just says the battery is dead. I ask if theres anything I can do and the guy just looks at me and says theres 30minutes left.Having worked for Apple before. I would never have dreamt of being so nonchalant and rude. Go to another store. Dont waste your time unless you feel like a bit of condescending in the morning.

Took my phone for a battery replacement, firstly advised they are not a same day servicing store, I could wait so I wanted to book the phone for the repair, consultant advised their technicians left for the day and their manifest is complete for the day, they cannot accept my phone and need to return the next day, why does a store process become a customers problem? which results in poor customer satisfaction and inconvenience...I will never return to this store.

Bought iPhone pro max 256 gb end of last year after 3 months Face ID stop working i was trying to manage without Face ID it was still in warranty I went to Cresta Istore last week Tuesday they diagnostic they didn’t find any problem I said ok if there is no problem you picking up with diagnostic make my face id work they check the warranty and then they booked the phone after 3 days I get a email from them and they said I must accept the quote of 14000 then only they can fix the phone because I voided the warranty its a water damage after I rejected the quote I went to get the phone back on Monday I find out the screws are missing while I was still there I checked and showed them then second thing I find out my phone is locked with there technicians pass code I have to wait there for almost 2 hours so they can wipe the phone now yesterday I went again for the screws they said I must book the phone again and then they will only put the screws back to the phone and send why I must be without a phone because of there negligenceAfter making a noise now the manager said she requested them for the screws which they will send it back tiny Friday second thing how the phone can be water damage when is still working without any other problem

I applied for a new line. Perfect...no phone. I can wait until Vodacom deduct all the fees deem necessary, then I can get my phone as per the consultant. Vodacom approves new line. Sorry you cant get the phone again Vodacom to deduct fees first. So Vodacom deduct fees. Consultant says if Im ok with it that they will give me the phone only when Vodacom have deducted and keep phone safe. Sure will pick it up the next week. Today I went to Istore at Cresta. Hi who are you? Good thanks. Here to pick up my phone? Sorry who are you again? Applied for my line last week. Sorry we have no record of you, but let me take your details and will get back to you. I said I travel a lot so its not always easy...o one more think we dont do courier services. When will I get my phone. Mmmm not sure!!! Just close that store. Some of them dont even know why they are there. Dont expect wow experience #will not find it in an Istore Cresta.

Pretty good and friendly service. Store manager was very hands-on when I was there (OCT 2018) and made sure the sales guys knew when customers walked in.Update - 08-Feb-2021 - Had to sit on the phone for 15 minutes waiting to be assisted only to be told that my status on the waiting list for the iPhone 12 Pro has been cancelled for some reason after waiting 3 weeks already! Agent said she had to escalate to the store and then she cut the call 1min later.Seems the only way to TRY and sort things out is to literally go there in person!

Ordered a replacement sim tray, on arrival I was presented with an additional labour bill after only being quoted for the sim tray itself, I can understand if this was explained to me when placing the order, or even when a lady at their head-office called to request for me to deactivate the find my iPhone feature.Thats just poor attention to one of the most basic points of communication when dealing with a customer...

Edit:Cannot stress enough how bad the service is here. I started opening phone case boxes by myself because no one wanted to help and no one seemed too bothered at the fact that I was doing this by myself. Someone presumed I worked there because I was just doing what I wanted, that’s how bad the lack of service is. This store is such a disgrace.The absolute worst customer service ever and I have visited this place multiple times. Most of the staff treat you like dirt when they should actually remember that THEY WORK FOR the brand, they do not own the brand. We are the clients that are actually paying. I’m tired of their judgemental attitudes to the clients as though they have the latest and greatest items of Apple. Management really needs to check in with this store as the service has stayed way below average for a very very long time.

Went in for assistance.Lady at the front was pleasant. Gentleman from the tech team hardly heard me out before telling me that he would charge for his services. I quote, It will cost you R200 for me to just touch your phone. He did not even know what my issue was. Lol. He might have not even needed to touch my phone. Phumzile, Tebogo and Letabo model excellent customer service. They were attentive and very helpful. Even though both the sales and service departments were busy the consultants were engaging and reassuring with regard to the technical support I required. I will definitely visit the store again.

I bought an imac and when I got home it didnt work . I return it the next day to swap it out and they tell me I cant because the button I pressed to open the ram has been used. The whole setup of the imac I bought is to allow for access to the ram. I purchased this imac two weeks ago and Im being denied my money back and the wont swap it our . They intend to keep me waiting on a broken imac . Been trying to talk to the manager but he or she does not reply. Worst experience Ive ever had when it comes to buying a mac

On the 07 Oct (sunday) i tried to book in my iphone 6 for battery replacement at the istore cresta mall only to be told that they only book in phones for repairs from monday to saturday.Apple is a premium product however the stores services are limited on a sunday. We spend so much money on their products to receive a premium service and to top it up the battery replacement is charged for so there is nothing which the client is getting for free.HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED AFTER THIS BEING MY 6TH IPHONE

I went into the store, placed an order for an iPad, was promised it would arrive in a few days since they didnt have it in stock. The following day, instead of phoning me, the guy sent me an email. Since it was a Saturday, I didnt see the email till Monday morning. The email told me he was unable to source the iPad for me and asked what he should do next. Isnt this the kind of conversation you have over the phone? I replied asking him to call me back, twice. No response. I tried to find a number to call the store but they only share the call centre number online which was completely unhelpful. I I then went into store to be told by a very impolite young lady that said guy had been on training. When I told her I was disappointed, she continued her rudeness with Can I finish? and a matching look. Conclusion, they dont know what stock they have. They dont know how to source stock. They dpdon know how to follow up with clients. And the have no idea what customer care is. I woll be buying my iPad pro and pen elsewhere. Goodbye business.

Worst possible experience over the telephone! I had been calling the Sandton store over and over and getting cut off with a - call ended every time. I then tried the Cresta store - exactly the same experience - impossible to phone through to. For a company who manufactures, markets and retails communication devices your communication is appalling. I get through and then have the call ended/cut off over and over. BTW I phoned through a quick 20 times, same thing every time. If you feel like getting frustrated for an hour or so I recommend trying to telephone an Apple shop, they deliver every time.

My wife and I went into the store in order to purchase an iPad Pro on 13 May 2018. The sales consultant ignored us and helped another customer who arrived at the store after us. All of the other sales consultants were standing behind the till area staring into space, unwilling to help anyone. Needless to say, we didn’t leave with an iPad 😕
