Not sure if theres been a change in ownership but I popped in for breakfast on a quiet Monday morning. Ordered the flapjack stack and noticed that the lone server had to go buy all the ingredients from Woolies and the fruit shop (leaving me alone in the coffee shop) to put together my order (talk about fresh!). Food was ok, but service and environment left a lot to be desired. Hoping they find their feet again soon.
I love Parkwood!! Its a great space to get work done or enjoy a Friday afternoon sundowner with their delicious selection of wines (Lockdown Level dependant! ha). The food is great thanks to Rebecca in the kitchen and Modise always knows how to make us smile! I will say that the pancake stack is DELICIOUS and an absolute must!
Stopped for a cappuccino at the window just next to the Woolies entrance and was greeted by such a huge smile I actually thought to myself I wonder if my smile makes people feel happy like this one does. The cappuccino was also amazing - in my top 5 in Joburg! Will most definitely be back for more!!! Thank you for making my day!
The one place that I will drink coffee. It really is the best!Love the pancakes in the morning, have tasted the cool crunchie loaf (!) & enjoyed the banana loaf!Great atmosphere & ambiance!
Not only is the coffee the best, their food is incredible, when you pop by you must try their food!! The tacos are my favourite!
