Being the third time that we stayed at Upper Houghton Guesthouse we can highly recommend a stay over.Marcus and his family have always gone out of their way to make us feel welcome.The room, with bathroom on suite, is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are well presented, delicious and more than adequate.All in all Upper Houghton Guesthouse is good value for money and we look forward to our next visit.

The place is beautiful and green. Its a great place to escape the city and collect your thoughts - bask in the sunlight beside the swimming pool or on the patio. The antique furniture just adds on to the peaceful nature of the place. It is very spacious and the hospitality is on another level. I felt like a Queen in just the 2 days I stayed there.

This is my third week in this guesthouse, the serving spirit in workers hasnt changed since. The place is clean, breakfast delicious (sometimes they even ask me what would I want to eat the next day). One gets to rest after a busy day in Johannesburg. Everyone please come and fill the warmth of this home away from home.
