On the 25th of July we checked into A night at the Museum. What a surprise! You cannot really explain the experience until you stay there yourself. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and was shown around by Shawn the owner. He explained everything we wanted to know and we didnt wonder about anything. Our room was great and bed VERY COMFORTABLE and clean linen. White and Crisp! We had a tea station in our room which was good for the late night hot beverage. Our room had a lovely view over the garden which was good for morning sunlight.Enjoyed the tranquility. Was not sure what to expect for breakfast but yet again lovely surprise! It felt like we were having breakfast and coffee in a old farmhouse.LOVED THE COFFEE! Just the brewing of the coffee was really an experience! It was quite cold and we were warm, didnt get cold through the night and also not while having breakfast since the old stove was like a fireplace! The pony that they have there in the garden really made our weekend special as we are animal lovers.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at A Night at the Museum{ Bed and Breakfast} . The accommodations were very nice but the best part of our visit was the breakfast in the morning. Sean is a wonderful host because not only was our breakfast very tasty, but also the information he shared about all the different rooms and antiques was extremely interesting. The best part of our stay should be our two dogs were also made to feel at home and had many other friends to play with. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again soon!

Lovely white linen and a good bed, BUT not overall clean. Lights are full of dust, there is a musty smell, chaotic kitchen to make own coffee. Nappy change next to kitchen. No milk in room, old towels, cheap liquid soap in musty shower, breakfast although suppose to be available from 7:00 - 9:00 was not available before 9:00.

If you looking for a relaxing break! This is the place to go. We loved our Africa themed room. The bathroom was unique as was the rest of the house.Very interesting! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a delicious dinner as well as breakfast served outside on the patio, overlooking the pool and rolling lawn. We will definitely be back!!

No other place like it, refreshingly old school in decor, good food and exceptionally well priced.

Quaint very quaint, a little bit noisy from the adjoining road since room was facing that way. Very interesting collection of radios, cameras, sewing machines, tape players, a few Edison phonographs, load to bookk, some recordplayers, the radios are especially interesting, that is of course if youre interested in old stuff, 50 years plus that still works fine.
