This place is a dump.No toiletpaper.No warm water.No microwave.No breakfast statement states breakfast and paid for.Thin duvey with no sheet or extra blankets.No towels.Not situated as indicated on maps.Bad attitudes towards customers.Stay away I would say.

Well firstly, the address and location given on Google as well as all booking platforms for this property is not the correct one. Upon reaching our destination, we were informed in not so many words by the owner that the accommodation is actually a few streets away. Once we got to the newly given address, the gate was opened by a rather unhappy employee who could not even inform us where to go after driving in, never mind even greet us. We drove in and after basically having to scream and shout to get the attention of another employee was on their phone, finally got shown the parking area. This same employee pointed to an open door (still on his phone), which we soon discovered was the reception area. The employee who had opened the gate for us (who btw was in a torn shirt, flops and no mask) did not even know about a booking, and gave us a form to complete while she texted the owner. We informed her that we had already made the full payment online, and she simply said that the owner said she must take payment from us (an amount which was twice what we had already paid) for an upgrade because the room we booked and paid for was no longer available and if we had a problem, the owners number was on the wall and we could call it. Now very annoyed, we gave the owner a call. All he could say? It is not my fault, it is the fault of the platform you made the booking on. You must pay or go and fix the issue with them. After a very lengthy phone conversation with the owner who could not even apologize for the inconvenience, it was now clear that he simply wanted nothing more of this issue and hung up on us. That was unfortunately the end of the experience, because we had to leave the place, resolve the issue by ourselves with the online booking platform and still look for new accommodation. Nobody deserves to be treated that way, no matter how in demand a place might be. I would not even recommend this place if it were the last one in that side of town standing. Guest service and professionalism are top tier in any establishment and the kind of service we got was extremely appalling to say the least.

Lovely place and Neat. Very affordable. But I wish there was security at the gate and intercom. Because we had to wait at the gate for someone to open and the number we had to call was not going through.Other than that, loved it.

Very basic. Good location, good service. Bedding was dirty, no coffee only sugar room. Room was spacious. No free access to enter and exit, have to phone owner to open gate. No breakfast. At least the price was good.

Disgusting!Pictures are deceiving, staff threatening and call big Nigerians to intimidate you when you want to leave.You are not given a remote to access the premises and cannot come and go at your convenience. Assaulted and refused to open the gate to let us out - I called the police and security company to assist our safe exit.They do not answer the phones to open the property.Pool green and disgusting.Old maids quarters shabbily converted to a room for guests.No outside lights.Parking is a mess up.Bedding dirty.No heaters, no extra bedding, no towels.Do not book here - it is disgusting!!!

Shocking.. absolutely awful place. Filthy bedding with no sheets. Couch is broken. No toilet paper or towels and no hot water. Roof leaking highveld thunderstorm into the bathroom. No tea or coffee facilities.Stay well away from this venue

Not good.Owners have no idea how to run a B&B.I was left outside the gste because there was no electricity. They only answered my call after the 3rd time of phoning.Would have left, if it was not for the fact that i had given my banking details.There was a kettle snd 2 stained plastic cups. No coffee, tea or sugar. When i asked about tea & coffe, and if there was hair dryer. I was told that it was not a hotel.The bed is old. There is no hand towel in the bathroom.There is a TV, but you cant watch what you want to, you have to watch what they are watching.I didnt stay the second night.Just dont waste you money.

This was, without a doubt, the most disgusting and revolting service and accommodation that I have ever stayed at, and as tour operator I have stayed at numerous venues. I will NEVER recommend this unprofessional venue to anyone. Nothing is as advertised. The shower in room 1 did not work and the bath taps in room 2 had to be opened and regulated using pliers. The swimming pool was green. There was a minibus, in obvious disrepair, in the front garden. The roomdwere equipped with one dinner plate, one small coffee mug and one desert spoon. No refreshments such as tea bags, coffee or milk was available. There was no toilet paper and we had to request towels, and having brought one towel, we had to request a second towel for the second time. There were no bedside lamps, the ceiling is falling apart, the toilet seat is unstable, there is no intercom at the gate, and no-one answers the telephone number to open the gate. The reservation was made on a bed and breakfast basis, but no breakfast was provided. The stay was fully paid for by eft 3 weeks prior to our stay, however nothing had been prepared. The owners childrens room is adjacent to the guest room, and as the children are extremely boisterous the result is a continual, uncontrolled noise which begins before 6 am. The dstv unit is next to the childrens room, and the only stations we could watch on our DSTV television screen were Nickelodeon and cartoon network. Although our room was attached to the main house, the wifi signal was constantly interrupted and never showed more than 1 bar. Lastly, our repeated requests to contact the owner were deferred and we were told that the owner only responds to WhatsApp messages. As a tour operator I would not give this establishment a negative 1 star rating. The people running this nightmare venue, do the same with their other venue, 72 Pritchard Street, Randburg. My advice as a traveler as well is a tour operator is to ensure that you NEVER book or stay at neither 130 Market Street nor 72 Pritchard street in the Randburg Area of north Johannesburg.

Im not happy with the service provided. Last night when I had to check in there was no one to assist. Had to wait over 15 minutes @ the gate risking being robbed / hijacked. From there it was downhill. I didnt enjoy my stay.

Place was absolutely disgusting,very dirty and unclean,unfriendly owner, absolutely unpleasant stay...we had to always call at the gate to be opened for.Owner didnt treat people right,full of cockroaches and broken toilets...a Pig style really.
