My nails were beautifully done. Staff were very friendly and professional and their prices were very reasonable. I will definitely make use of their services again

This was quite literally my worst waxing experience ever. I booked an appointment for 11AM for three waxing treatments and I arrived on time. I was asked to sit and at 11:20 I was told the technician was having trouble with her wax but I understand this happens from time to time so I waited patiently. Thereafter I was assisted (rather rudely) and asked to go through for my wax.The techinicain wasn’t prepared at all, the towel given to me to wrap around myself was stained and looked very shabby and overall I felt uncomfortable in that tiny room. Anyway, it then took the technician 40 minutes to wax the front of my legs. The wax was not heated up, it pulled my skin, hardly took out the hair and she repeatedly pulled to try get the wax off. I don’t understand why she was unprepared when this wasn’t a walk in appointment and was booked in advance. When she asked me to turn around to do the backs of my legs I asked if I could leave.At the front the technician and receptionist/manager were somewhat apologetic and said that I didn’t have to pay and asked if I would please please come back. While I am glad I wasn’t charged for such poor service, the fact of the matter is if this is how you usually conduct business it is really worrying. I wanted to get my nails done at this salon but after this experience I will never come back. I have been getting waxed for over a decade and have never had such a bad experience and one that took so long! I suggest you prepare for you appointments and actually make sure your technician knows what she’s doing. You can’t afford to be mediocre when there are other salons who will do a better job.I left the salon, with sticky legs and had to go find another salon to actually help me, and even though they were more expensive they at least got the job done.

I felt like I was in a sausage factory. Appointment was for 13h00 I arrived punctually 15mins early. There is no waiting area. At 13h15 indicated frustration at not being assisted. My technician left her client and came and put the soak off on. I showed her the picture of the nail art and gel that I wanted and she confirmed that she could do it. By 13h40 the receptionist noticed that I was getting antsy and took me to a table and finished the soak off. By 14h15 I was still sitting there waiting to be attended. Remaining unusually patient feeling sorry for the technicians who were obviously overbooked. The color that I wanted was not available. I compromised politely (you have no gelish color charts and a very poor selection) I had to choose a bottle and hope it would be ok. Throughout the technicians had no tools and were scabbling over sharing and grabbing from each other. Other clients were sitting wherever they could squeeze them in to have soak offs. Nail art time comes there is no colors for the nail art. By this time it was to 16h00. I gave up and left. on the way to the car I noticed a raggy nail and ran back for a fix. When I walked in the silence was deathly. I was gutted that my monthly treat was a fiasco leaving me irritated and stressed. I was offered a discount but I didnt want a discount I wanted nail art. GIVE YOUR STAFF THE TOOLS AND TIME TO DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY.

Very disappointed 😞 been coming here 14 months. Made online booking Friday 30th July for today Tues 3 Aug 10am. Nail technician did not arrive no one could tell me what is happening or why she is late. Not even an apology so I walked out 15 mins later. Not acceptable

Took my wife to have her nails done, the technician who saw her first did a terrible job and so I asked for it to be rectified by another nail technician, they assisted us and rectified the original mess. Once they were done it was a piece of art to be proud of. I advise that you take care to observe the work being done but rest assured that the right technician will do a decent job

4 stars because nobody is perfect but Buff and Blade are an exceptional group of beauticians. Felt well treated and cared for...a definite must!

A friend of mine recommended that I should do my nails here as she has always had good experiences. I must say I was very happy with the entire experience from calling to make an appointment and being assisted through that to getting a friendly service and professionally done nails. They made sure to sanitize the station and use new buffer and file. I really appreciate the safety precautions they are taking to ensure a safe environment for their customers. Thank you!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I was booked for a microblade touch up they said they dont hve black pigment, but knew I was coming, so why didnt they stock up before. TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The staff are extremely friendly, and one can have good conversations with them. I was extremely happy with my nails, really well done all the nails were nicely shaped. When you walk into the shop you are greeted with a smile. I wouldnt highly recommend one coming here.

Acrylic nails last less than a week because of how rushed they do them, tried to call them to make an appointment and they claim they will call me back in 5 minutes and never do. So unprofessional

I had my toes and nails done by Bongi today and she is absolutely wonderful! I only had to wait 5 min for her but the ladies are super busy all the time. Bongi is definitely worth a wait. I cannot wait to get my facial later this month with her again. What an absolute pleasant experience

Really enjoy your shop and staff but please I dont think you buy a regular stock take something as simple as silver glitter you run out of. I get given samples and get told the other sample the shop does not have all the colours then I choose a pink and a silver from the other one and you do not have the colours. I spend about R600 every 3 weeks on pedi and nails and will have to look for somewhere else if the stock colours do not improve which would be a pity

Everytime I go to buff and blade they usually dont have the colour I want or they put a different colour from what I want, that still was not a problem for me however last week Sunday I went to do my nails and I took my mother with me firstly they didnt have the colour I wanted again, however I picked another colour, its not even a week and a nail came out already... the lady that done my mothers nail used the wrong colour which was totally off, it was uneven and looks so unprofessional, her toes was even worst, no one bothered to check that they did not even put the glaze on her hand... everytime I go I do the exact same thing however Im always being charged a different price! I will never go back really disappointed...

Terrible Service.A friend of mine booked me for an 13:00 appointment. I was 15minutes late primarily because I was coming for 1st time.I got a very cold shoulder for being late at the reception and the lady that was supposed to do my nails was more sour than vinegar. She didnt bother to greet me she was bored out of her breath by my presence. I sat on that chair for 3min and considering this was supposed to be a pamper session I opted to let it pass as it was already painful. I will never go back there a dentist visit has nothing on them

I went to buff and blade on the 25 may for soak and new set nails and toes, my nails starting cracking on the side. I then made another appointment for today Saturday 17 june for a soak and another new set nails and toes. So i spent 1000 in two and a half weeks. Today i asked for dark grey with two nails ombre with black. The ombre nails are all different it definitely does not look like an ombre its not blended in nicely. My other nails have blotches with dark and grey shades. Some nails are shorter then the others. I am very unhappy with my nails and very dissatisfied. I take a lot of proud in my nails. Went in for a BOOKED mani (with nail art) + pedi ... Left with a RUSHED gelish overlay on my own nails (no time to do tips)? which peeled off after a week! NO pedi ... Reason ... A customer arrived and was throwing a fit cause she had to wait!!! NEVER going back if this is how a paying customer is treated .. Oh an this was their 2nd chance cause the reason I stopped going originally was due to lack of stock, sharing tools and being rushed due to overbooking 😒

Your staff are shocking. When I call to make an appointment I am made to feel like I am wasting the receptionists time. When my sister and I walked in your technicians sit and look at us. No one stands up and asks do we have a booking or can they help and when we eventually get someone to help us your staff sit there eating apples and are rude. From making the phone call to make a booking to walking out the service was shocking. You really should be embarrassed. The first and only impression is terrible. You lost business today- 2 mani and pedis but its seems your staff dont care or need the business. You also lack the proper equipment to do a basic polish mani and pedis.

Not only were the nail technicians rude and very rough, I also got a terrible nail infection from what I suspect was unclean nail tools.

Cant complain about the service! But I had acrylic tips put on and by day 3, 4 had fallen off.
