Im Indian and have extremely curly hair. I asked about pricing to shape my hair and I was told they only deal with natural hair. I was taken around the corner and told they deal with your type of hair. It was a mans barber sshop 😤😤😤 Is Indian curly hair not natural. They should state for black hair only!

This was my 2nd visit to the hair salon, so disappointing because its a little bit difficult to come around natural hair salons.The 1st visit we had a good experience, the lady without the dreads did my daughters hair. This time around the lady with the dreads did my daughters hair and the attitude she gave me for asking questions.She only washed my childs hair with a detangling product, no shampoo, no conditioner and when I questioned that she did not even want to give me an explanation.Then she starts doing a hairstyle we did not ask for, without even putting on a leave in conditioner in her hair.Somebody please recommend any good natural hair salons in the area.

I have been doing my hair there for quite some time now. I had noticed the hairdressers attitude at first and thought that maybe it’s because I am still a new client of theirs, and there is still some uncertainty. I must say the attitude still continued even after frequent visits. Just by entering the store and greeting them, I wouldn’t feel welcomed as a customer, in fact I would feel so uncomfortable and unwanted yet I am paying for a service. The reason I went to the salon in the first place was because of the reviews I saw, I must say I haven’t had a good experience at this salon.

I have been doing my hair there for a while they have a stinky attitude and they gossip about you in another language and they assume you don’t understand, worst of all they do it in a manner that shows that they completely gossiping about you. I asked for twist they gave me a three plait and at the end twist. Their hairpiece is not of good standard . I honestly think that They should stick to natural hair and not do braids such as box braids, twist. As it’s clearly beyond their capability.

They are a little pricey but very much worth it. There is So much care and attention put into styling my hair. So much so that its easy for me to undo my hair myself! Im yet to go do my hair and not have some good length retention afterward

Ive been natural for 4 years and for a natural hair salon I question the products they use and general knowledge of natural hair.... I wouldnt recommend it unless they do abit of training...

I must say I was a little disappointed, Im not sure if its the dry detangling or the aggressive head scrub that got to me the most. The salon has 2 stylists one who seems to understand what shes doing and one who doesnt.I went in for a wash, my scalp is so raw,dry and itchy from the aggressive scrubbing and tugging of my hair. Its very frustrating to go to a specialist salon to get mediocre service at a premium. If you are looking for another regular salon go, but if youre a natural looking for a natural hair salon DONT...

Very few salons know how to take care of natural hair. My hair is healthy, no heat damage or breakage during the process. I always do my protein treatments there monthly.

Not a good experience at all.The are not gentle when washing your hair, aggressive scrubbing of the scalp and not proper detangling of the hair. As a first timer visiting the salon, they do not explain what they are doing to your hair, what products they using and why they using them , how it benefits the hair etc,nothing at all.And then to my surprise they braid hair without moisturizing it but just spray it when they done.

Not the best customer service at all and they are over priced. Spent about 3 hours for treatment and styling (which cost me R600, using my own products and own hairpiece). I was eventually attended to when I said I am leaving.

If you like fighting with your hairdresser when shes obviously doing the wrong thing but wont accept that its wrong then this is the place for you. If you want to sit for more than 8 hours doing a simple braiding hairstyle that would usually take 4hours then this is the place for you. And if you like being charged overpriced fees and being gossiped about in a language they think you dont understand, lol, then this place is the one.It was truly an amazing experience to be around people who claim to specialise in natural hair and braiding but fail to replicate a picture for your hairstyle that youve done hundreds of times before. What an awful experience and I was so hopeful. I honestly believe that anyone who recommends this place just doesnt know what its like to have a better experience and that is truly sad.They dont seem to take care of new clients, maybe they have enough regulars that maintain their business so why care about someones first time experience...who knows. But all I know is Im not going back.They didnt even base my scalp or spray my hair guys when they were done. But at that stage I just wanted to get out of that chair so I didnt bother raising that issue so Ill be doing that myself tonight.And then she raised the mirror to show me the back and was waiting for me to say good job I guess even though they didnt fix it. Haai, lesson learned. An expensive one but learned non the less.

This is my go to salon for natural hair. They are professional, work by appointment, and hygiene is a priority. I have undone my braids there, afterwhich I washed and treated my hair. Also got very pretty afro extentions done here a few months ago at a reasonable cost of about R450 including a wash.

After having driven from the eastrand to check out this place as my friend had refered me there, i was turned away as i didnt make an appointment. they lost a customer before i even became on. There was simple no care, not even an offer to call me the following day.
