I ordered goods from SIW twice in the past week - the first order was confirmed via email almost immediately and delivered within a day after payment cleared. My second order took a bit longer to get confirmed - had to call to confirm, however, this was delivered today, a day later after my call. Friendly service. Good products, well priced. Extremely poor client service, Spoke to a sales person and I am still waiting for a quotation for items over R200K. I contacted the manager and was clearly not interested in assisting me or correcting his employees non performance issues. WOW !

The prices are so much more affordable. The sad part is Im not getting any assistance. I asked to speak to the manager but stil no assistance.I am really stressed... Bought Solar accessories. They never acknowledged my order even after sending proof of payment and two emails requesting a update. Four days later, When I called they were rude and confrontational. After a hellopeter bad response they finally processed my order. Pity I did not know before, and due to Hellopeter removing all negative comments about them,I would not have bought from this company.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before dealing with them. Their prices are good but service is non-existent. Dont bother trying to phone the land line, send an email or use the web contact form. This is extremely stressful when you have paid them a large amount of money and you are trying to find out the status. The only way I could get any response was by posting a very negative review here.At one time I suspected that I had been scammed, but my goods finally arrived.UPDATE: I have upgraded my review a bit. The reality seems to be that they achieve great prices by saving lots on service staff. (To be fair, my dealings have all been during a period of intense load-shedding)So, if you are spending enough to make the saving worth the frustration, by all means use them. I have gone back twice.

I have not bought from you guys as yet but i need to purchase last week for over 200k but had to use another supplier as i never got a reply from them and could not get them on the landline. you have good pricing on the 30 per pallet solar panels which i need but how do you do business with pole you cannot get a hold of. Solar is in demand guys you need to communicate with your people add other phone lines and people to answer

It is very pathetic that you literally have to beg to spend your money at this company. We phoned twice on one day and got through but since then nobody ever answers the phone no matter which extension you choose. We are a company in the Western Cape, therefore we rely on either telecommunication or email.We placed an Official purchase order about 3 days ago and are still waiting for them to confirm the order. The fact that your Support is useless, is an understatement.The Sales representative that was assisting us could not have been more uninterested in selling the products provided by SIW. The exact words expressed by the sales representative were: It will be a schlep to buy the solar cable from us.Please rectify the issues at the company, we dont want to beg to buy something.

Very good reasonably priced solar products. Its not takealot speed though, you need patience when dealing with them because of work overload but good people to deal with. I refer all my friends there.

READ CAREFULLY FOLKS! Do NOT be tempted to deal with these incompetents by a lower price. Trust me you will regret not paying a little extra. I dropped R150k on this company and have never dealt with a more incompetent, unresponsive organisation in my life, and Ive had some shockers before, believe me. No one answers the phone, no one replies to email. I had to drive there 7 times to get any answers.My spec was incomplete, they changed components without telling me.It is a disgrace that a company like this can still be operating. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Pity there is no zero star.

Well, after reading all the reviews..... It doesnt look like anything has changed, Ive been trying to call for a week now..... And still know one answers the phone... Can anybody tell me, if this company is still in operation.....?

At first I was impressed by the service and the information I got from the company. But when my Inverter packed up the problems started. I booked it in with them and when they tested it, it blew up. For nearly a month I was trying to get the status using e-mails, whatsapps and even visits. Each time another story. Eventually got the unit back, installed it again and it was constantly switching power. Output would show 230v then 0v then 290v then 0v so much so that all components in my house, lights, cell phone chargers, microwave, PC etc were swithching off the on then off then on. I have booked it in again with the request that it be replaced, refunded or upgraded. I shall update this review later.Third day and no response yet, but will give them a fair chance.The next day was informed by the owner that I can pick up a new inverter. He was very helpful in showing how to setup the inverter for my specific use. Installed the new unit, did the setup and all working. If this is the way one gets treated i would recommend them as a provider.

Great improvement from the first time I shop at Solar inverter Warehouse.

Called the number, pressed 1 for sales. a very unhelpful person by the name of Leila answered my call, mumbling away. I asked firstly if I could buy directly from the warehouse as opposed to online, no reply, I asked if they had stock of a certain item, read out the SKU code and then she mumbled, thank you and was about to hang up without explanation wrt whether she was going to check the stock or other. Turns out she isnt a sales person then proceeds to tell me to send an email enquiry after i had given the details because i cant speak to sales, they busy.Lost sale to you, get your act together and train your staff

I HAVE SENT 4 EMAILS IN TWO DAYS WITH NO RESPONSE. THE ONE TIME I DID GET THROUGH ON A TELEPHONE LINE THAT DOESNT EVEN RING THE PHONE WAS HUNG UP. PERHAPS ITS TIME TO HIT SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE SOLAR AND INVERTER WAREHOUSE HAVE OUR MONEY THEREFORE THERE IS NOT REASON FOR FOLLOW UP SERVICE. DISGUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST.

Not impressed with their sales team. I have placed an online order with an option that they will send me a courier quote. It is now 4 days and a phone call later and still nothing. Also not easy getting hold of them on their telephones. e-mail also doesnt seem to be a good communication medium with them. Needless to say, I went somewhere else to do business.

Absolutely useless company. Do not know how they still exist. Orders placed with money paid, but no response on email whatsoever, other than auto-responders, and do not answer the single telephone line they have.
