Been using their services since 2018 and was always happy. However after today, I would like to advise you that you never cheat on your barber 😢 find one or two barbers and stick to them no matter what.!

The lady who cut my hair was professional and attentive, conversational and knew what she was doing.

Went for haircut at newtown the manager there was cutting my hair was not happy with the service he did not cut my hair nicely, he did not shave me well he did not hairdry he did not wash me well the cut is horrible ill try to go back to him am hurt and unhappy

Hi All.Went to Legends barbershop(newtown. JHB) on the 02/05/2021.Got there @ 10am. checked in on the little tablet.Had about 6 ppl before us. At around 10:15am someone entrered and also registered. At around 13:00 we where still waiting to be helped. In the end the guy that registered after us was helped before me.This siervice was totally unacceptable as i went and complainted. was told sorry.Long story short was in the end the person helped beore me was a good friend of the people there and thus was helped before me.I am tottally discussed and really disappointed in the service i recieved. Will never visit that shop again.

This is the best place to get a new haircut and good music good barbers like everything is so perfect like you even like have fun while you still getting your haircut and the barbers her friendly and more welcoming you can try it. I highly recommended it.

As I said on my other statement. I called but the phone wasnt working or answered. They need to attend to this cause we at most really on this Google information to first make bookings find time and not waste time on driving to a place that is full closed and or not operational. I was going on a haircut date with my sister and I also needed to know if they cater for wheelchairs or not. So pay more attention to the online presence and phone cause it would help greatly for us.Campus square where able to cater for wheelchairs and the environment was as friendly too.

After 2 hours the haircut comes uneven. The price is ridiculous, @ that price Not even a wash after the cut. That is a haircut, wash, and head massage price. So now I gotta go to another salon just for decency leveling...

I always get a different barber all the time and they dont cut the same last time I went there my scalp was hurting coz the guy who was cutting my hair was very rough and had cuts on my head. To the owner can you keep the same barbers one place I think 7 ppl have cut my hair and was only satisfied twice out of the experiences

Complain about the bad service I received from Legends Barber, Newtown Junction branch.Today(25/02/2021) I went there with an intention to cut my hair, however it didnt happen.I waiting for 1h30mins to be attended to only for the barbers to complain about who will be cutting my hair as it is alot of hair and it is late for them. They ended forcing one of the guys to do it and you could tell how unhappy he was with this. I ended up telling them to leave it, I will go elsewhere to cut my hair seeing that it is a problem for them to do it.I am very disappointed in their service and for them to complain in Afrikaans, thinking I couldnt understand it. The worst is that I wasted my time waiting for nothing.I would not ever again recommend this particular branch to any of my friend, colleagues or family.LindiweVery annoyed and disappointed customer

We went twice and both times it was ridiculously full, perhaps thats a testament to the quality of their barbers. I was told the best time to visit is during the week before midday.

🙄🙄🙄 The place was full, which is notably understandable around this time of the year, (December) But it was just the feeling of not feeling welcome whereby youre not informed on the systems put in place for the place to function. I stood there not knowing who to go to in order to get assisted, I ended up leaving Though the Cuts i saw were pretty Legendary.

Only place to have mastered tapering my head however the barber who got that right is no longer there.

Great staff. Theyre all so skilled and get the job done very well. I have never been disappointed. The hair cuts are not cheap though. You can pay cash or by card.You cannot book an appointment so you could end up waiting over two hours to cut your hair. I dont know why they dont take appointments tbh. The reception lady is also quite rude and stays screaming out client names instead of going to them to talk to them properly. I find that very strange.You have to park in the shopping center so bear in mind that the longer you wait for your hair cut, the more youll pay for parking. They will not validate your parking.

Ive always heard about legends barber, and yesterday I decided to go get a cut at the Newtown branch. My experience was terrible... The barber cutting me was not fully equip, he kept cutting me left me to go look for other equipment and worse he ddnt even know whr his legend or barber blade was. Experience got worse when another customer came n requested specifically the guy who was cutting me. He then got in a rush to finish me, now Im left with machine scares or scratches on my forehead as well as on my chin whr he was cutting my beard... I needed more service from him like dye n lines but I decided to leave as I could see Im getting no service. Worst experience ever at Newtown

I get the hype guys. I really do. It’s funky, basic and the staff is kind and approachable. It kind of stops there for me. I went and got a cut today and although the cut was as fresh as a bottle of glade, the place itself was grim.We’re talking shavers and combs on the floor, no desinfection liquid anywhere, hair everywhere and just a general lack of hygiene in this place.The cut is 120 rands and although it’s a cheap cut I felt grossed out after the cut.

13th January 2019 was my 1st visit ,was happy with the service and it was convenient going there than florida branch based on distance.27th January 2019 I went back for a hair cut . so die ouens dink n swart persoon/darkie kan nie Afrikaans verstaan ​​nie ...As I was waiting for my turn the staff member looked at me and made a judgement call that I cant understand his language so the best thing in his life is to insult me making everyone laugh would be the greatest achievement to him .i kept quiet trying to understand his motive and reasoning but nothing, jus a guy who is professionally trained to cut hair with no respect but rubbish mentality.I then decided to leave after that.I suggest you have a word with them or replace the staff member because racial comments like this someone can take it far and am not talking about social media, where the business can suffer just because of someone with limited thinking.Afrikaans is just another language that one can learn as they did aswell , no one is superior over someone.I will never go there again , just hope that something like this does not happen again because most your clients are black people in Newtown.
