Really great venue for those who do sport and those who support those who do sport.Theres an wonderful, friendly vibe and its kid and (socialised) dog friendly. The beers are cold, the live-sport viewing is an adventure, and the staff are great.As a social club, it does a great deal in the community too, and is passionate about helping where it can.Great venue, great vibe.

I love the vibe here when there are events. Recently opened a new beach bar which is proper, and the drinks are super cheap!

Great running club and good coffee! The facilities need a little upgrading but it is much better than many of the other clubs.

Cricket, Hockey, Rugby, Soccer (indoor and out and Tennis. With a wide variety of sports to join the club for, unfortunately somethings like using the cricket nets and courts without a membership has come to an end due to abuse of the equipment. But overall very convenient and well looked after.

Went to the Vegan market which happens at the end of each month. Was okay but much more busy - to ME not as enjoyable as the Museum in Auckland Park - but I will be back as there are some stalls which sell products I am interested in. Met some nice people here too 🤗 and tasted some really yummy food - vegan 😋

Vegan Hippie Connection Market! Every last Sunday of the month here at Pirates Club. Love the mixture of people, food stalls, plants, clothing and trinkets. Live music and just a great get-together with a friend or six over some smoothies or Margaritas. 🤩

On a summers day the vibe here whilst watching rugby is extraordinary. Have a beer , let the kids run wild and catch a tan.

I only go the the Pirates Club for the Vegan Hippie Market on the last Sunday of every month. The market has grown exponentially and there is always something new to ogle. Favourite stalls include Fancy That Creamery and Conscious Curries.

Great vibe over weekends. Good for families and people with dogs. We go on Saturday afternoons, and there is always a buzz with some sporting event. There is some meat on the menu, but this place is seriously vegan-friendly. Totally recommend the zucchini fries.

Have done more than one run from Pirates and it has always been great. Well organized and supported.

Pity about the road in and out. The club is a safe place to go. Clean and friendly. Doing a lot to make the club available to more sports and activities.

Good fields. Didnt make use of the bar/cafeteria facilities so cant comment on that. The mens restroom was not in good condition.

Sho Matli...this place os banging. I drove all the way from Pta North to witness and support this lively warm welcoming place. I cant wait to bring my wife and kids along. Keep the good vibes on brother.

Not sure how to rate it, because there is different aspects to it. As a sportsman playing sports and attending practices, I would give it a 5 because the fields are well kept. I unfortunately cannot rate the clubhouse as Im not someone who hangs out at pubs, but from what I saw with the people eating and drinking there, It probably deserves a 5 as it looks like they enjoyed themselves. As a visitor to the vegan market, I gave it a 4 because there is a lot of room for improvement to guarantee the future success of the market.

Too full for current lock-down regulations. Appears to have only one channel for sport, even though it is a sports venue and bar.

Park looks ok but definitely needs a bit of maintenance. Pub is looking a little dated/tired/run down so could use a good sprucing up. Care needs to be taken when arriving and definitely when leaving as the exit from the parking has a dip on one side and a stop street(that a lot of cars skip) on the other. As for the gravel parking, well that has a lot left to be desired-especially when all sorts of dangerous things are lurking-a nail for the tyre or a piece of glass for the pooches feet.
