Really chilled vibes, rustic look and feel. Deep House was on point! Drinks are relatively cheaper compared to most other places. DJ was on point, and the food was good. Definitely will visit again.

Great place to have a cocktail - great bar and atmosphere

The pizza was blend, you just have to add salt and pepper for taste. But the vibe👌👌. The service was good. Oh and the mojito didnt have sugar or syrup.

What a terrible place with inconsiderate managers/owners. A couple of my friends and I were there a few months ago. It was a midweek outing so we wanted something chilled. When we got there, they were playing loud music. We requested they please lower the volume so we could hear each other talk. The waitress would tell us that the owner didnt want to. This left a bitter taste in our mouths. I mean, what happened to valuing customer experience. They would eventually lower the music, which would then exponentially increase. Maybe we are not the target market of the place. But this experience was very disappointing. The place is beautiful and maybe the food great, but well never fully know.

Loved the decor and the atmosphere of the place. Great selection of cocktails and delicious tapas. The outside area is a great place to spend afternoons sipping on cocktails or even for just a drink or two before a big night out :) . Our waitress was also very friendly and very attentive. I’ll definitely be back to try out the rest of those tapas options 😋

If you love Tapas and just about any drink then The Lonely Hearts Club is just for you. The flavors are amazing and their service is phenomenal. They have some of the friendliest staff Ive ever come across.

The beef schwarma was one of the best Ive had, really really good.Deducting a star because we had a few dodgy characters come right in and hassle/beg us right at our table, leaning into our space as we were about to eat. Others who didnt have the courage to walk right in begged from afar throughout our meal. It wasnt a comfortable way to enjoy lunch 😐Sad state of affairs. Melville goes through waves.

I really enjoyed all the food at this venue. A great place to have a boozy meal with great flavours and decor. The wine selection could be better but the wines available are fairly priced. I haven’t seen prawns this size in a while. While generally preferring savoury to sweet I can tell you that the honey crumble panna cotta I enjoyed for dessert was not overly sweet and had the perfect wobble, topped with a crunch.

Nice indoors area with clean toilets. They have good air conditioning incase it becomes very hot inside. The best for me is the wide range of beers that the bar offers😉 perfect! 👌🏾

First impressions were bad service. Sitting at bar for quite some time basically being ignored despite several people being behind the bar and having Been led to the bar on arrival. Gave me time to look at the decor which at first glance seems quite nice. However on closer inspection the finishes look a bit cheap. The bar stools are very uncomfortable and you feel like you’re about to slide off the front as it leans badly. Food: had the calamari heads with the brandy sauce - these were a win. Delicious. Also tried the trinchado which was not good. Over spiced to the point of feeling like sand in your mouth. And you will feel it again the next day. Outside area looks much more on par for Melville with nice smoking area and private party venue outside. Looks like this place could become a Melville favorite. Just fix the small things and check food. If it’s not great, don’t send it out and hope for the best.

If you are in Melville and you dont pop by this place then you have cheated yourself. Ive been there a couple of times, their vibe and music is constantly good. Also, they have the best crowd.

Used to be my favourite place to go. A lot has changed. I loved this place as a patron and enjoyed it even more when business got involved. Both sides have proven to be dramatically different to what I first thought.End of an era. Thank you to everyone who made it great.❤️

Amazing space! Their house lager is of international standards! The food is great and the portions are quite large for their prices! And the music selection!!!😱😭🤩 It creates a beautiful, relaxed yet vibey atmosphere. Im in love with this spot!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere the outside sitting area is amazing! Especially in these Corona times allows you to eat outside without any fear after taking off your mask. Did I mention the food is amazing? Well it is.

Great vibe, comfortable seating, clean restrooms. Usually go there on Thursdays for Strictly Soul sessions and its always a great night out.

On Live jazz nights, its the place to be. Usually Wednesdays.

Made a booking 2 days prior, then when we got there, they had giving my table to someone else who then refused to move/leave. We had to wait 35mins for a table. Then finally we were given another table and then we waited 25mins for drinks.The worst management and the worst experience!Saying sorry does not make my experience any better as it does not change my outlook on the establishment.Will never go there again and will not recommend it!!!!

Amazing experience

Place has a great vibe however the experience was let down by the waiters, even after explaining that Id received sub-par service from our initial waitress, only to be further disappointed when our pizza was served before the utensils were brought to the table.After waiting a reasonable amount of time in anticipation for the secondary host to return with the utensils, we decided to dig in before having to eat cold food.Utensils & seasoning only arrived to our table after 6-12 minutes with only 2 remaining slices of pizza, with a cold Im sorry

An absolute catfish. Expensive drinks that taste watered down, along with an extremely limited menu. Perfect for someone who doesnt enjoy being taken seriously!

To be honest, Im disappointed. Found multiple hairs in my food. Spoke to the waitress, who was not apologetic. And none of the chefs had hair nets. The waitress seemed very pretty and sweet, however never mentioned the tip, that had already been included and was happy to let my mom pay a double tip.. The whole experience was a big let down as Ive been looking forward to trying this restaurant.

What a great experience! Super friendly staff and great service in general. The place looks awesome and the music set such a lekker tone. The best thing though was the food. The artichoke hearts were revolutionary. Just go there.

Inspiring menu with many options including many veg. Generous portions (for Tapas). Super tasty (we had about 8 different amongst 4 of us). Great service, attentive manageress. Good drinks selection. Comfortable interior. A real gem!

Lots to recommend this place: delicious Tapas, good service, warm decor and a nice vibe. We ordered everything on the Tapas menu and it was all delicious. We had a lot of fun.

Walk in alone, grab a table, order a meal, walk out with new friends three hours later. I loved the vibe and the connectedness of its regular patrons. It is especially vibey on Sunday evenings.

Service was very slow, the waitress didnt pay much attention to our table, when we had to pay she brought the bill and after a few minutes the machine then she disappeared until my boyfriend and i decided to do the transaction ourselves and gave the bill and machine to the bar man coz she was still gone. The food and drinks are okay, nothing exciting but you saved the night coz most restaurants were already closed. Space and ambiance was quite great for our date night though

Tapas was good. A little rich though. And super varied in portion size. Bit of a tragically hip vibe going on, but it was a good lunch.

The Beatles and John Lennon inspired Lonely Hearts Club is a fantastic little place tucked away on the vibrant 7th street in Melville.With a generous serving of dim lighting and rustic decor, the restaurant provides a warm and cozy ambience.The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food (non-Spanish tapas) is delectable. I recommend the duck cigars, and the baked camembert.Their Hey Jude gin drink is also very tasty.

The space is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Its worth a visit for their food and vibe.

Food dismal and tastless, attempte to be up market FAIL just expensive for tastless small portions of badley made food, service HAHAHA what service? No people pick it up change the menu and get a Manager that knows how to run a shop.

As a group of about 20 people on a Sunday morning we were surprised to find we had to wait to order food because breakfast had closed and lunch not yet opened. When we did get fed, the food was amazing both in flavour and presentation, but the portions very small so double up if hungry.

We love this place. The decor food Melville perfectly, in an upscale way. The tapas are superb, especially the grilled artichokes. Friendly, attentive staff and lovely, chilled music to relax to.
