The service was great. The food took quite a long time to make and some ingredients were missing due to there not being stock. The flavours of the food were wonderful, maybe just an off-day in Hells Kitchen, usually a much better experience than the last. Come on guys, dont let lockdown get you, youre better than this!

Stopped over for a quick Craft Beer, which was top notch, and I was not disappointed by any means, staff and service are excellent as well.

Easily an overlooked place when passing by. Not your typical restaurant.The food is damn good..like too good. The ribs and hot wings are fire. The hellfire shots are compulsory to try.These are the best ribs Ive had from anywhere..seriously.

Excellent atmosphere, wide drinks selection and generous food portions (300g beef burger, enough said). Recommended if you enjoy a rock bar vibe, great for drinks and a meal any time of day.

A few couches to sit on and tables. There is an outside seating are and a small courtyard are for people to chill. The music is great, but a bit loud at times to have a good conversation. A nice size bar, with a good selection. The selection is obviously geared to serve a specific market. Multicultural so it makes it a great place to hang out. Wish the smoking libary area was for non smokers. Such a nice chill place on the couches. Off Street parking. Efficient service with good choice of waiters and barmen. Keep it up. Melville, especially 7th Street still has a problem with cellphone theft and petty crime with car guards a nuisance and dark areas an issue. You never feel safe in the streets walking. BEWARE OF CELLPHONE THEFT, VALUABLES. IT HAPPENS EVERYWHERE IN MELVILLE, ESPECIALLY 7TH Str, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Ave.

What a nice Whisky bar. The decor and photos against the walls are carefully crafted to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere.We were in the area hopping from one place to the next and decided to go to Hells Kitchen for a last round before going home. We ended up staying over 3 hours, having drinks, listening to the great music and chatting away.It was a fantastic experience. Great first impression, thanks to the fast and friendly service, and welcoming ambiance.I would definitely recommend this place to someone that likes Whisky or even drinks derived from Whisky like Fireballs.Not a place for kids though. This is a place for grownups. But you should definitely bring your inner child and have fun!

Hells. Chaos is the order of the day. But Hells is good fun. The music is often on point and the vibe is usually festive on a mild day. Expect lots of Hellfire shots, great natchos, a phenominal steak and superb in-house brews - the Hells Kitchen (HK) Lager is my go to beer here.The sides are also a favourite and they have excellent sweet potato fries (that could perhaps come with slightly larger portions of dipping sauce).The 70s rock style interior (imagine grungy decor and 70s leather couches next to an imaculate bar) may or may not conceal a cigar lounge.In the heart of Melvilles famous kuier street.Enjoy.I would not recommend leaving your car keys as collateral at the bar - rather buy a few drinks at a time with the friends you take with you (or end up making in the meantime!)R250 pp would get you a proper meal and a couple of cold ones.

Food is alright- medium steak got served well done. only 1 waiter serving everyone. Bar didnt have most of our requests. Mens toilet had residue of a major party nite before. Will give it another try when they have a function to experience music etc.

The staff are always super too and I always have a great time. Dont forget to try their signature whiskey shot, the Hellfire.

Took my boyfriend for a late lunch on his birthday and the pizza we ordered had Choppa ham which wasnt fresh. I alerted our waiter who brought the manager over to our table. She apologised, took the pizza and assured us our change of order would arrive asap. She came back with Hell fire shots on the house and apologised again and we ended up having a laugh about it. The pizza was ready in 15 minutes, tasted AMAZING and our drinks were ice cold too. I wish I knew the managers name but she was absolutely lovely. Our waiter was a really dope gent too. The best service Ive ever received! Please do stop by for a great vibe!

Poor Service. Ordered half kg ribs, got a full kg. Bad quality draft, sent back, still on the bill. Waitress went for a smoke after serving meal, had to ask someone else for assistance. Had to get up and go to till to pay the bill.Very limited observance of any kind of COVID measures. Bartenders & waitresses not wearing masks half the time. Clearly a take your chances approach!

Great place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon listening to music from a live DJ. Drinks and Food are always on form and atmosphere great.

Waiter was unhelpful and we had terrible service from him. Manager was also very rude and told us to leave when we had just paid our bill and were only waiting for our uber. The beer they serve on tap tastes like piss too. Our jagermesiters were pre made at the bar which is unheard of we were served tequila in a tumbler. Just a mess.

Firstly I gotta give props to the guy behind the bar awesomely friendly helpful and awesome taste in vodka omg Baliga is my new favourite it was amazing!!!Lol any ways so we stayed for both sets the band was Rambling Bones they were way impressive and I never heard a single compliant, Only good things we had 3 different people serving our tables and all 3 were firstly so beautiful, very attentive and helpful working as a team clearing tables wonderful service A for effort.It is upper market at 100 +/- bucks a burger but!!! You get what you pay for the food looks amazing. I didnt eat but mostly everyone else did and said it was delicious. The group consensus was order the ribs or wings burger.The vibe is relaxed and casual bring about 250 - 500 with you for a full day of fantasic fun also...PLEASE IGNORE THE PARKING GAURDS THEY HOUND AND BEG AND TRY SELL DRUGS I WAS OFFERED WEED AND KAHT (CAT). We had great service. Theres quite a vibe sitting outside. Bouncer at the door looking after you. The lady serving us was super friendly. Food was so nice that my brother went to meet the chef. He made us an amazing burger. Worth a visit.

Its cool. Its been cool like in forever. Melville is just one of those cool places. Cant really say why its cool. Its just cool. You should give their burgers a try and the sweet potato wedges with spices. Its cool!

When my friends and I are after a unique chill spot, great (out of this world food) and a private intimate hang out spot, we go to Hells Kitchen. Its always ALWAYS value for money and the uniqueness of the place is pretty hard to ignore. The menu is feisty with lots of self created signature dishes that are part of the places identity. From craft beers to surf and turf dishes, this place leaves no stone unturned. Everyone should try it out

Been staying next to Melville for 15 years, and it was my first time actually going into Melville on a Sunday. Really glad I went into Hells Kitchen, cause the vibe is just perfect. Different people all just having a nice time and enjoying themselves, awesome food and drink, with live music to compliment the scenery. Will definitely be making a turn very soon! If you just want to chill with a rustic and rocky vibe, drink great scotch or bourbon or just enjoy a beer with your friends. This is the place. Try their pizza. It is great. The vibe and atmosphere wins you over instantly. Great service. It is not a big place bit definitely worth going.

All eight of us had brilliantly prepared meals, the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.
