Reasons I Love SBI South Africa Website most1 Most secure login:You need to wait for minimum 5 minutes for login2 Fastest messaging system:Sometimes you get login message a minutes before you login to system3 Highly human interactive website:If you want to do remittance to India, website will assure minimum 20 to 30 times that you are the correct person and than it will allow you to make the transactions else it will continue log out the user4 Loving part for me:I love this website and use it as a reference to my clients in South Africa that if you want to build any banking website you can take all the hidden and silent features of SBI South Africa

Worst Bank. Pathetic Service. Exorbitant charges. Charges for petty things such as bank statement, opening bank account, closing bank account [things which take a click]. Very bad rate while doing India remittance. Net banking site is not interactive and navigation is not user friendly, extremely slow. When you call them, they do not pick up the phone.

Long waiting time at the Branch, Executives wont care about Customers, Pathetic Support (you have to call them again and again for the support), They wont give u any Ticket no when u raise a complaint... On Email, they never reply you on time, just keep rotating support emails from one deptt. to another deptt....Opened a Saving account on 07 Jan, 2015 and still struggling to get support from them on 01 issues...

I tried giving them a second chance after a year since i closed my account. Seems no improvement at all. SBI India is best but SBI in South Africa should be called as worst bank.

Useless bank... They charge you for petty thingsI was charged 171 rands for 3 months Bank statements stampingMost of the times online banking doesnt work.They are not able to solve your queries on phone, everytime u need to go to branch for small issue.

I was at branch on Saturday 23/11/19 to update my passport detail there is no one at the branch ...then why they trading hours saying open on saturday from 9:00 to 4:00They must update it,its really bad inconvenience....

I tried to call SBI Johannesburg branch to transfer my money to a South African bank. They put my call on hold for 15 minutes, following which I had to disconnect the call. Horrible experience!!!
