The SARB is currently closed due to Covid-19 and has placed a poster on the gate redirecting you to the nearest bank which is supposed to assist you on behalf of the SARB.I went to 2 banks (ABSA @ Newtown & FNB @ Main Street) and both banks could not offer the service of exchanginging old South African Coins as the SARB claims. The banks have little to no information on where one is supposed to go and have limited services, which means they cannot assist you in anyway. They suggest I go to the SARB in Pretoria, but there is still no certainty if i will get assistance. This turns into a waste of time and money to the point where one will give up.
A nice big plans to visit and to work in very beautiful on the inside as well the outside very tight security everywhere a lot of resurve parking and for visitors of the bank as well
