Organized crime (Rental date is 06.Aug.2021 Hertz Durban Umhlanga rocks)My wife and me rented car Hertz Durban2. We had to check in Mount Frere, BCN Makaula Hotel (06.Aug.2021)3. We had to check out B C N Hotel (Mount Frere) at 7:30 to Mthatha4. Before Mthatha driving time ten minutes road somebody stop my car on road (He stand center of road I can’t avoid driving)They have silver sedan( Don’t know model) driver is seating car one guy stop the car and He sad “show me driving license” I think he civilian why ask license “He sad Mthatha areatoday morning start riot so you can’t enter Mthatha center road but you can by pass ticket for bypass(Mandel museum area road) and he sad go to enter Mthatha area CALTEX Gas station.when i was arrived Caltex gas station in front my car BENS sedan and back some car like can-boy road center someone sad follow Bens car to Caltex Gas station.Bens driver collect from FNB ATM machine white ticketBut I sad i don’t want buy ticket by cardI want to buy cash they sad not possible cash only international credit card can buy from ATM machineI don’t want buy ticket then they are threat to me(three guy, front and back car drivers and someone(find attached video by my wife)(some guy face open pictured)Then my card insert ATM they sad put password, after put password feeling were something wrong but the card not possible return from ATMthey are operation ATM.Three guy crowded and threat moment some time someone took my card to another shop use my card,at that time card company SMS send to me for confirm using card myself I sad just stop my card from now.fortunatelly not lost my moneybut how they know my car on road?In front my car two sedan passed only my car stop on road I m very suspicious Rent car company and BCN hotelI think my rental car information hand over to Mthatha organized crime group (Including GPS real time information)As you know South africa magnificent nature and good tour system and every years many foreign people come enjoy in your country.Also many South Korean visit South africa for tour and travelSo I desire wish to catch that organizer crime group and please let me know your police station investigate if possible.Also i will notify to your department by email when i get in the future my card used shop Mthatha already asking Korea credit company.please let me know one more time kindly request investigate for them.Thank youRelation of Card robbery guys and shop(Store),Ps: 1. Worst bank Ive ever dealt with, I opened an account with them because I needed to receive a foreign payment from one of my sources of income, its been over three months and I still havent had any assistance, Ive been transferred from department to department and received no assistance from either of them.My money has just disappeared without a trace, and my company has been unable to assist me because the funds successfully exited their system and did not bounce back, they have provided me with all of the necessary information to send to my bank and to request a chargeback, but they have been unable to do so. My main bank is Capitec, and I can attest to the fact that their service is 100 times better. The bank with the most illiterate employees is FNB.

FNB should stand for Failed National Bank. Utterly useless at customer service. Spent 2 hours on a phone in the Adderley Street branch in order to renew my credit card and I am still waiting for the card to be delivered to the branch. Spent 15 minutes in Capitec branch and was issued with a new card on site by super friendly and efficient staff. FNB youve lost the plot and youve lost touch with reality. People have options other than your subpar service. Spoke to two different branch managers only to receive no follow up whatsoever (Adderley Street and Cavendish Square branches). I only gave one star in order to be able to post this, and even that is undeserved.

This is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Apart from having to be on the phone for more than an hour to try and get through to someone for assistance after being transferred to 8 different departments they still cannot assist. Well done FNB, keep up the excellent service quality to your devoted customers. I wish there was an option to rate you in the negative but just like your customer service that too is non-existant.

Applied for a business covid 19 loan on the 27th July 2020. FNB dragged their feet for 8 days when they said it takes between 3-5 days to notify you of the outcome. I have full power of attorney over the business account and on the 8 day they inform me that they cannot speak with me they need to speak with the owner of the account. I give them the owners number and let then know on the 5 August that the owner will be available the whole day today the 6 August 2020. They never called. I feel that you are in direct contravention of the orders of the president that instructed banks to act with a sense of urgency as these loans are to pay staff, rental etc so that they can feed their families. They are not for holidays, home renovations or for buying jet skis.Let me explain this process so that everyone is aware why there is only about 5% of the government guaranteed funds (Total is R200 Billion for business assistance) allocated so far to businesses (from May-July) as the banks dont make this clear as from the last speech from the President.The president has said that the banks cannot make any profit from these loans. and is only allowed to charge a fixed interest rate of 3.5% which will be stored for any future defaults by businesses. This creates a dilemma for the banks as they need to use their resources and funds to fund the loans and only once someone defaults do they use the 3.5% that they charged for interest. Once this is depleted they then request governments assistance. If FNB does did not follow strict credit measures they government holds them fully responsible for the loan amount. FNB is also 50% responsible for debt with the treasury also taking 50% responsibility. The reserve bank takes no responsibility for the debt.As you can see from the above why would FNB approve these loans. It doesnt make financial sense. They are not allowed to make profit from the loans but need to take 50% of the risk.In saying this the government and our president gave them the power and responsibility, in this time of need, to overlook profits and assist businesses in dire needs to support staff that need to feed families.I can tell you right now as Ive spoken to many businesses that got declined as well the banks care about the bottom line and that is it. we belong to a business group of 900+ members and have discussed this loan in depth. Not even 5% of them were approved for a Covid 19 loan.Government needs to take decisive steps to force the banks to assist the people of South Africa or give that responsibility to companies that are willing to assist.Clearly FNB does not see the urgency in this matter. I will be taking this matter up further with the local municipality as well the government with the assistance and support of all of the other businesses that were declined or who were just ignored.This is not how you treat people. Never mind your long standing and loyal clients, I have 4 accounts with you that will be closed within this month.Hope your profits were worth it at the expense of a nation in crisis.

I would not give FNB a star if there was such an option. Every consultant tells you a different story about one account.I had a loan of which I settled on the 3rd of December but till date I have not received any response from them yet they still debit my account.When you call, each of them tells you a different story. Very disappointing that till date, the issue has not been resolved

First time banking with FNB, I forgot my password and the forgot password was not working due to service error, called FNB App support and got served with a very rude consultant, was polite the whole way trough to her and the consultant kept replying with an annoyed attititude the whole way through and cut the call before I finished my last sentence when I was trying to thank her for her help, did solve my issue but left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I am deeply distressed by your terminating of sending out Email statements for my credit card , which is a real problem. Why do you expect me to run my FNB card from my smartphone ? You have stopped the sending out of Email statements every month, which is my reminder to pay and the document my auditor gets. Are you trying to force us to work solely on our phones or in fact wanting us to close our account we have had with you forever?

One star too many, FNB deserves none.Heres 8 reasons why:1. Trashiest bank in the continent.2. Always looking for ways to rip people off / hidden fees.3. Force us into online banking yet cannot respond to complaints on any platform.4. Numerous complaints laid and still no solution, they will NOT pick up a phone to help so just forget about customer service5. Branches have become nothing more glorified internet cafes.6. Deduction of funds before allocated dates.7. Pay points / ATMs frequently offline / faulty cards.8. You are better off keeping money with a crime boss! (Or the government - your pick)

Dont recommend this bank anymore. Disputes get handled poorly and you wait forever as all their call centre is for is complaints it would seem. Some of the people dealt with was alos pretty arrogant.

Asked for my tax certificate, Refoelwe said it is not possible and gained me the below. This is why customers move their homelands to other banks - your team simply does not care and do the bare minimum. Refoelwe could have said let me take your e-mail address and once we are online again will mail your certificate to you But no - she will rather e-mail the below message and that is it.

FNB prefers legal route than trying to contact loyal customersHow is it possible that a bank can hand you over for one unpaid payment. They dont even have the audacity to contact me to find out why it wasnt provided for or when it will be paid. The amount is a ludicrous R1500 ... nothing that would bankrupt them.To prevent any further occurrences, I pay the entire outstanding balance. I also pay money into my cheque account and guess what ... they take another 2 payments ... this after I complained and told them I paid the full outstanding amount.It has been 3 full working days and the only response Ive received is:Please be advised that I have submitted a request to our FNB Loans Department and awaiting feedback. Kindly note I am following up and will revert back once I have feedback.This is a loan that they charged more than 30% interest over a 6 month period - blatant theft.No wonder FNB is not nominated for any service excellence awards ... and never will be.

Everyone that is using FNB you need to look at your bank very hard because I am not even an FNB member they listed me on SAFPS in 2014 and i was not aware since 23/10/2017. Si have been communication with them to fix this matter since the 23/10/2017 until now they have not done anything. I have a job offer pending on this yet FNB is dragging their lags but they were quick to list me. Please change to a back that will protect you or treat you well like ABSA.

I was a loyal FNB customer for the last 4-5 years. I have been doing all of my banking through FNB. A couple of weeks ago FNB cost me a Ton of money and when I log a complaint no one even bothers to sort out the problem. I am changing banks, and will never again bank with FNB ever again.

It is pathetic that one cannot get thru to the phone number. Are there any people working there? Been trying to get thru to legal for the past 3 weeks with no luck. ?The phone keep on ringing. I did hold the line for 6 hours and no one answered.Very poor service.They do not even worth 1 star...had to pick one in order to post this.PATHETIC!!!!!

SA Best Business Bank exactly a month ago today and still no feedback on an application on my business profile. Every phone call is met with the same answer. (We will Contact you tomorrow) It is pathetic that a bank who advertises themselves as SAs Best Business Bank cannot even process an application for a small business run by a single person. Whats even more worrying is that I was told my application has been with the manager of that department since the 25th of April. How exactly do you complain about service to the same person who is giving you the poor service? #FNB you disappoint! I have been an #FNB customer for the better part of 10 years and have never experienced the sloppy service I have in this past month. I might aswell change my accounts to a bank where I can expect this kind of poor service that way I cant get annoyed when they dont deliver. #FNB SAS BEST BUSINESS BANK!...unless you need something...

Used to be an amazing bank under great leadership. Unfortunately since Jordaan left the new CEO has been running it into the ground. Terrible service delivery.. took me 2 hours to update one work telephone number, and almost three years to get my address updated in term of local laws. Adding here - FNB waited until the very last day I have to submit IRP5, to provide my IT3b - they had 4 months... make me struggle bad bad guys!

This bank doesnt even deserve a star and I wouldnt recommend anyone in their proper mind set to open an account with this bank. My accounts have been hacked into, internet banking not working, accounts frozen etc, they has just been a lot of drama with this bank, I am actually considering just close all accounts with this guys as its taking my life backwards, their slogan should have been FNB - How can We destroy and terrify your life like in the Horro Movies, this bank, its staff and the way they operate scares me, its like they not people or we as the people we not human enough to them.
