OMG. I cannot believe how rude some people are to potential customers. At least try to tollerate them, not bite their heads off. I wont set foot anywhere near this place again

Best kitchen spot in the city.... And its been tucked in a little corner in Sandton for 2 decades, making it older than Yuppie Chef. Prices are also decent, but its not the place to go to get mediocre kitchenware - everything here is world class. This shop sells stunning little things that you didnt even know exist, or you didnt even know you need. And the staff are culinary pros themselves and therefore provide excellent assistance and guidance.

A great shop located in Sandton City that has a good selection of baking supplies and Christmas decorations. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I lived in Johannesburg for five years and my weekly ritual was a visit to your store in Sandton city for the latest gadgets. Back in Cape town for about 6 years and I must say that chefs and icers is still my favourite spot I still have these cookie cutters accumulated from visiting your shop and they are durable and trending. Even though located in the mega mall, it has this homely and cosy feel to it. So glad to know that you still around.

The rudest lady manager i have ever encountered. As well as shocking service, Will never go back. Stay far away and spend your money more wisely. She was so rude i thought she was going to bite my head off.

Needs more prominent signage. Actually walked past the place though wed been specifically directed there.

Most rude and degrading wrt customer service. I had purchased three 6 inch spring form cake pans which has a lifetime guarantee. The ones spring wasnt sealing fully. I took it back to the store for a return/exchange/repair. However I was met with much discontent. To the lady who served me....do realize that no person will go out of their way to misuse an item, that you had to lecture me on how it was severely bent. Furthermore you very rudely gave no hope stating, that I dont know when I will have an answer as the supplier is in Capetown. I even stated let me know the cost of repair (despite having a lifetime guarantee), you continued with a horible patronising response such as They wont repair it as it is made in England!!. You were utterly distasteful.The tin or the guarantee thereof is not my issue (its a very mere R150)....What was more concerning is your terrible judgemental, patronising, rude, abrupt attitude. It was utterly disgusting and you ruined my evening. In a time of COVID where we all have been forced to re-analyze ourselves and realize that what really matters is humanity and kindness.My interaction with you was not with my time, I should have rather used that cake pan and a flower pot. That would have granted me better happiness and oxygen to breath, instead of attempting a repair or exchange.I do pity you as you have no humanity, no kindness....You are rude and mean.You are at at a loss.God save youThank you for your response. Lovely little gem in Sandton City mall, also very affording for baking goodies. This is definitely a fav now

On 3.11.2019 I broke by accident a flour shaker. I then took the product to the counter and you made me pay the entire amount? According to the Consumer Protection Act, customers have the right to inspect goods. If something is broken, the store needs to prove negligence, criminal conduct or malicious behaviour. Why did I have to pay and if I had to pay why not just the cost price? I have been trying to contact you to no avail?

No refunds after I was misinformed about their products. Please dont listen to them because if you come back the next day they will give you attitude if you even try and explain your situation. Horrible service and non existing customer service

Please stay away!!! This shop has a non existent customer service. The owner spoke to me over the phone in such a horrible manner, that I could not believe it. On top of the bad experience that I had, I saw the employees petrified to phone her, so I could explain my situation. I will never go back again!
