Big and neat. I love the fact that they have a plant/flower station. I come here to get house plants and flowers.I bought 2 huge fiddle leaf plants online for delivery and got amazing service.

Took my son there to purchase a suit. The salesman was extremely patient and showed my son a number of different styles and fits. After trying several suits, a process which took almost an hour, we found the one he wanted. In all this time the sales person never left our side. My only regret is I did not ask for his name but did thank him personally.

It has a big floor, double storey. Im assuming it would have more variety, otherwise theres better Woolworths stores with a smaller size to this one. Not the best Ive been to.

This is the place for all premium shopping. However, I gave it a 4 star rating because of the lack or limited signage for directions which would be very useful for any first-timer. Overall, the restaurent sells great food.

Shopping experience was exquisite....shelves are well stocked with food and veg. Clothing depts are all well manned with staff. The only shortfall is that the counter cashiers in food need to provide better service in the friendliness Dept. Most are so sour, my cashier was a triple threat with unfriendliness, no smile and barked at me. But the overall experience was pleasant and overshadowed that.

I had a long exhausting shopping experience there, yes the service of the staff was great, it is unfortunate that some items were mixed with those on sale so I took the wrong item without taking note of the difference of the item to that that is on sale till after I have paid and left the store as I was about to pay for the parking ticket and leave the mall that is when I realized that the sale did not apply because of that one item that was misplaced, I had to go back to the store and get a refund on this. The manager at the food store was kind enough to help me accordingly it is unfortunate that this is not the first time I have experienced this at Woolies, I need to check my till slip right before I leave their shops because I always pay more on other items than what has been displayed on their aisle. This is exhausting and saddens my heart given that I spend over 30k annually in their stores as a VIP Wrewards member to get such shopping experience.

Always amazing. Their levels of customer service, quality of products, selection and just pure class surpasses all other retailers ten fold. Nobody does it like Woolworths and no Woolworths does it like Sandton City.From the moment you set foot through the door (even if it is minutes before closing) till the moment you leave you feel respected, accommodated, cared for and appreciated. From the security at the door to the floor staff asking if they can help because you look frazzled and confused (they would not ever say this out loud but on this particular shop I ran in at a quarter to closing time (8) and charged through at super speed mumbling the grocery list a little too loud only to realize at home my clothes were on inside out. World swallow me whole🤦🏻‍♀️. They mustve thought I was crazy 🤪. Their response: just pure professionalism and offering help.So in summary this store is a MUST go to. Fresh food, best quality, best staff, best sanitation (there is someone who sanitizers your trolley for you before you touch it by truly scrubbing the trolley in places you dont even touch!) and best of everything. Just know if you walk in for bread and milk, youll walk out with fresh French baguettes, croissants and probably a rotisserie chicken, new york Cheesecake, peanut butter ice cream and chocolate hot cross buns too 🤷🏻.Lastly - you have to attend their seasonal sales. Especially the 50% off almost everything sale. Truly a necessity. Denim Jeans (same quality as Levi, Diesel) for R300. Their sustainable cotton T-shirts for R70. Crazy good deals for QUALITY.ENOUGH SAID.Good job Woolworths Sandton City - my no. 1 pick for exceeding excellence shops in Sandton!

Woolies Food Sandton is one of my favorite Woolies Foods. There was this one day when I lost track of time, they patiently waited for me. I realized it soon enough but I appreciated their gentleness.

Truly a flagship store if there was one. Has everything you could want from a Woolworths.The biggest part of this store mainly being their clothing section where there is an upstairs section for ladies and a gents section down the in-store escalators. Clothing quality is always great and with the size of this store,the variety is great too.

They are currently busy with renovations. I think it will look better once done.

Got to the customer service desk to do an exchange, teller calls her supervisor to authorize the transaction. No greeting which was not an issue but when the supervisor goes to the next till and the gentleman is greeted with, Hi Sir, how are you; it gets you thinking if all are treated equally. The gentlemans partner knew this was wrong and looked at my 3 year old daughter and I with shock as she even realized what had just happened. What does that teach ones child🤔? Some food for thought Woolies on how your staff treat certain customer...

What can you really say about woollies, always amazing ,fast service,good products

Loved it. Its way bigger than all the Woolworths in Tanzania combined. I particularly like Woolworths foods and Im super excited about the sale going on! The clothing, shoes, accessories etc is definitely of a higher quality than some of the other clothing stores, so youre guaranteed what you purchase will take you a long way. Bought some scented soap, leather sandals for me and a pair of leather shoes for mum. I also got a number of tops at more than half price. Going back again for a leather handbag I spotted last time.

Staff are unfriendly and not keen to help. Vastyd different to the general Woolworths experience of great customer service. It makes the lack of customer orientation even more pronounced. There are numerous other WW stores in the vicinity and I would recommend that anyone considers rather supporting those WW stores. Very negative shopping experiences at this particular one.

I love woolworths, not only are their products much fresher and better packed theyre often cheaper than the competition. Meat at Woolworths is cheaper than most places inclusive of pnp and checkers and its better quality. The continuous combos which save us even more without having to produce a members card with every purchase just make shopping here seamless. One error though do not purchase woolies vouchers over 4000 rands online. As person will not be able to use it without proof of credit card. Something they need to work on.

Today I was in the store and asked a staff member for assistance. I was assisted my an incredibly friendly gentleman who happened to be deaf. His name tag clearly stated that he was deaf - I thought this was phenomenal initiative by Woolworths and something that should be be implemented nationwide. Left incredibly in awe.

This is one of the best Woolworths shops in Johannesburg. They are usually fully stocked on food and clothing items. They have a wide variety of products on offer which caters to all price points and styles for all ages.

First I waited for about a half hour, because it was after hours and the headoffice is closed they cant assist in changing information I already gave woolies in the past.Ive been told a number of times to get my store card renewed but all stores Ive been to, in one way or other have an excuse why they cant issue mea replacement card. Its been 3 months now. And Im getting told that next time they will not take my card for payment if woolworths cannot replace it for me regardless. How is tha my problem?Very frustrating 😕

Such a large chain flagship that is always under construction. The store revamps quite often keeping up with the trends however at the cost of customers convenience. Departments are spread across two floors from mens, ladies fashion and yummy food market that we all love.
