When you have to do the quality control for the panelbeater...Missing bolts, misaligned body panels, overspray, trim not seated, etc ... I had to send the car back to their workshop 4 times, before my patience ran out. Dont get me started on the state of the vehicle inside, COVID is not an excuse for not cleaning a vehicle, especially if you have if for a few days longer until your client collects it.This panelbeater has forced me to purchase a new vehicle, as I have no faith in their workmanship and I will not put my safety at risk.I wonder if there is a correlation between the BBBEE level and their quality mentality....

Only one star because zero is not an option. Despite being late with my car and getting me charged for additional rental days through the insurance, they made we wait an hour after phoning me that the car is ready. Pathetic at best. Then while driving home my wife wanted to use the passenger sun visor and it was gone (they only had to respray the front bumper - so lost nothing inside the car)! After being treat like a bad guy and phoning more than 3 times they eventually came to replace the sun visor at my house. Get this with only two screwdrivers that did not fit. I had to borrow them my toolbox with a torx set. I mean can you as a panelbeater be more useless?? Rather fix your car with a hammer at home - they might want to borrow it in any event if they have to fix it.

Proline autobody need to be demolished or refurbished their service is poor and they are full of lies .they rip people s money while they dont know what they are doing their workmanship is very poor I sent my car for rear bumper rear replaced but they work on my dashboard. I found wiring for diagnostic plug hand over and the screw on the dash missing. Sies man Im disgusted with their work

After 3 months of complaining about my headlights being faulty. I called in again and this time Kevin has the audacity to tell me that I need to call my insurance provider for the to assist me(make a claim with your insurance then we can assist). Proline scams insurance companies by doing extra unnecessary work in order to get more money from them. There was nothing wrong with my headlights but they changed them for faulty alternative lights. He doesnt even bother to apologize for the inconvenience that my family is currently suffering because of their doing, today he told me its the people at the workshop who did that without his knowledge but he knows that the insurance approved for alternative lights. Lets see if he will call like he promised before end of business day today.

The initial sales and quoting service is great. However, during the repairs on my car, they broke something else. The refused to take responsibility for it, even though it was working perfectly when I dropped off the vehicle. I will not recommend using them.

Ever since my car was booked in, the service consultant never kept me updated or informed on where the service was at. I bit my tongue after several to and fro attempts and eventually got a response. I let it go ... then then I realized during my travels from province to province the aircon gas was not filled after replacing my radiator. The service consultant was a nightmare to deal once again! I had to leave my car overnight for the gas refill. The same service consultant forgot to book my transport because it was her day off! I am told I must call the dealership and make arrangements as someone must have forgotten. Rating ....why dont PROLINE AUTO rate their own staff and performance on this one!

Not happy with the end result. i found over spray on my cars roof and tape residue were present everywhere. although reception was immaculate, the workshop, in my opinion, could definitely do with paying attention to finer details. feedback on the overall process was good at the start, but i had to call for updates closer to the end

Horrible service. Delay from their side. Because they missed authorisation number. Phoned me to collect my car, and the a hour later, cancelled saying car not ready. They caused additional damage to my car, which they then had to repair.Now I cannot even get a receipt from them, phoned yesterday and today, horrible service continues.... Keep on saying they will send it. Yet still waiting.Now months later, after giving me a discount on my excess, because they screwed up and caused additional damage to my car... they phoned me to say we owe them money....The amount outstanding, is the same amount as the discount they gave us...This place is extremely incompetent and their service is horrible....Thus is actually funny....The company even phoned me and pretend to listen to the problem..... Still now months later their horrible service continues....Will never take my car back there, also informed my insurance about them and advised them not to use them in future

I experienced highly unprofessional workmanship and shockingly poor customer service. Resulting in repeat work and multiple visits to perform checks that were supposed be done by their quality control. Extremely frustrating dealing with these individuals that cannot provide rational explanations to simple queries. I will never do business with this establishment again.

Terrible!! My vehicle was sent to proline for repairs in around August of last year. It was a job in itself to finally get the repair done. Shortly after that the bumper area that was repaired began to come off from the main part of the car - it looked like t had been stuck on with a poor glue! My broker and myself have contacted them many times but they havent bothered to respond. Stay away!

They called on the on 15/11/2019 to come and fetch my car is ready for collected. When I got there damn my car had so many problems more than 16 problem. These people really I dont believe them. They are the worst car repairers bush mechanics are far more better than them. They even added more money from what I was suppose to pay. I still cant believe my eyes. Stay away!!!!!!! All these reviews are true!! Also had to go back multiple times with my car after they fixed it up! They basically destroyed my car!!! The manager could also not be bothered!! Mostly he doesnt answer his phone or respond to messages. Dont even bother calling him.Stay away!!! Please people! Worst experience ever!!!!! Luckily my insurance called me to review my experience!!! I had a terrible experience with this place. After they completed my car, I went back more than 5 times for them to fix their terrible workmanship. Every time they claimed they had fixed something, I always had to take my car back. They also tried to take shortcuts with the repair e.g. Bending the hinges of my boot instead of replacing them which they ended up doing after I complained about my misaligned boot. On another occasion, they used GLUE to reattach a broken part to my car which was meant to be screwed-in, but couldnt be screwed-in because it was damaged in the accident. After the part fell off and I saw the glue and called them out on it, they ordered new parts which took a few months. The situation got so bad, that my insurance company had to get involved and the matter was escalated. Even after all of this, they still couldnt fix my car properly. I decided to give up and opted to take my car elsewhere at my own cost. This was after they put a dent in my roof whilst trying to fix another problem. They also misplaced some interiors parts which they had to reorder. Proline Autobody is badly managed, they dont care about their customers once amounts have been paid and the guys working on the cars are really bad at repairs. Send your car there at your own risk.

I sent my vehicle in for repairs at Proline Autobody, Wynberg in mid October last year. While fixing the damage to the car, Proline cut a large chunk out of the rubber seal around the boot which now does not seal properly. We notified and sent follow up emails to Kgomotso Masila at Proline who did not respond for another month. They said they would update us on the status of the boot rubber replacement later that day. It has now been almost 2 months since we were supposed to receive an update and all follow up emails I have sent have been ignored. The lack of customer services is absolutely shocking. I sent my car in to be repaired, not to incur alternate damage!!! This is disgusting customer service.

Absolutely terrible workmanship, broke other stuff on the car, swopped my battery. Sharks, stay clear of Proline, renew it, the bluetech group. Monopoly that is terrible with customers and work is terrible. Worst experience, I would of given a zero but the rating available is 1, which is not deserved.

They dont even deserve 1 star.This business is holding my vehicle and not releasing it so it can go to the correct auto body repairer since its not supposed to be there anyway , my vehicle was sent to them without my Broker and insurance knowing due to us receiving emails and sms stating that the vehicle was at another auto repair shop which it was never taken too. This business is holding my vehicle illegally and refusing to release it which has now delayed the repairs, which would have already been half way done.I have been there to find out why my vehicle hasnt left them, to be liedto and told its not there which it still is confirmed by SIS Assist.If my vehicle is not released by the end of the business day of 20 February 2020 I will be forced to report the vehicle stolen.

Their service is very poor to be honest. My boyfriends car had a problem with the bumper and when it returned it came back with a lot of technical issues that werent there at first. Whenever he would call one of their consultants, she would always say shes busy and shell get back to him. She never got back to him of which is very unprofessional. This company is very inconvenient honestly.

Coveniently leave out repairs and parts from your jobcard so you cannot go back if you have issues with those same parts. Dont take ur vehicles to them. You will be miserable

On Thursday 18/04/19 I was told my car will be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday ie 23/04/19 or 24/04/19. On the 23/04/19 I was given a call around 09:00 to fetch my car at 17:00 as the car is done and they dont have space to keep my car. I get a call at 16:00 that day to not fetch my car as the rear lights were not fit in and that my car will be ready on 24/04/19. I fetched my car today, paint work looked decent. I drove from proline to home in the rain, only to find that the paint work was infact not dried and the rain had caused the paint work to smudge. Unethical panel beaters dont be misled by it being based in Sandton, far from classy.
