Mercury Music delivered outstanding service. Within 5 hours of contacting them, the courier they arranged to pick up our appliance arrived. Really good considering I live about 70km away! They reported back in 2 days on the repairs required and the work was completed in 3 working days. They were upfront about costs involved; helpful in advising on an insurance claim; and professional in their invoicing. The work was completed as per our request plus additional cleaning up of the appliance that we hadnt asked for. I recommend them highly.

I can strongly recommend the repairs services of MM. I had my reel to reel Akai 635D recorder repaired there, after being boxed and unused for a number of yeard. Its now working perfectly and still sounds amazing.

STAY AWAY FROM MERCURY MUSIC! I sent a controller in for repair and they sent me back a tampered with product to force me to come back and give them more money for another repair, they refused to pay even though they tampered with the product. They sent me back a machine with power issues after I sent it in for a play button repair. The repair took them 5 MONTHS to send me back a broken product. 0/10 would never recommend to anyone

I was a recurring customerThen they tried to sell me a cable (XLR to Jack Male) for R 699, and it is worth between R79 and maximum R 269 on the market. They probably assumed it was not aware of that.Then I have asked for a Adapter Male 3.5mm Stereo to Female 6.35mm, they tried to give me an used one for R299 (it is worth maximum R99)I am not sure what they were thinking (the staff members there at that time didnt know me, I interacted with different staff members when I purchased other items in the past)I found it so sad that they tried to con me.

Wont recommend at all, bought a set of D’Addario Classical Guitar Strings and paid R399, though this was excessive and got the feeling was being ripped off, when got home saw price on packing of previous one bought at a competitor 6 months back and paid R170, checked and current average market price is R180. Was planning on getting another guitar in near future but defiantly not at this place.

Cool place for all musicians. Selling first hand and second hand stuff and repairs of electronics. Friendly too.Above is my first impression.Now: They told me they would get back to me within 2 weeks with a price. 2 months later and still nothing. Even worse is they say they will get back to me but they never do. Still waiting.

Very dissapointed and unprofessional, when I got there to shop for a guitar the salesman was out to get a coldrink , the lady behind the Locked security gate told me that she did not know how long he would be , waited 10 minutes and left to go somewhere else....
