Great atmosphere, friendly people, an awesome venue for conferences. They have an excellent restaurant and bar.

The restaurant we went to was lovely. Very good service. Many of the galleries were unfortunately closed because of COVID.

Very cool spot to hang around. There’s a lot of Restuarant that serve delicious meals as well as an art gallery.

First Thursdays is a fantastic idea: a portion of Keyes Avenue closed off with pop-up food stores, and a great variety of galleries and restaurants at the Keyes Art Mile open for a bit of the evening. However, it would be great to have the Circa Gallery and Everard Reed Gallery open for First Thursdays, too. Excited to see the growth of this bustling event!

It was my second time at this venue but though small an intimate its one of my favourites. And I got to enjoy the best food from Picassos food truck and coffee like no other from naked coffee. Safe parking and quite good for a night out as a couple or friends. God date venue

A boutique collection of galleries and design shops. Curated events happen all the time. There are the best burgers in town at BGR. It is also very close the Everards read gallerys. Check it out on first Thursday...

Such a beautiful, elegant part of Rosebank! With vibey and unique restaurants to visit. My favorite by far is definitely Sotto Sopra, the food was out of this world delicious and absolutely incredible!

As a first timer here, I was taken by surprise on all the different foods you can get , to either eat there or take away , which we did , Bought some fabulous Pate , breads, cheeses. Stopped halfway to have a really good cup of coffee. Jazz band playing outside where you can sit on benches enjoying the food and the music. Not for small children ....Would recommend and definitely return

Well hosted event, Lots of food stalls with Delicious food, and a great vibe. The art that was on display was also fascinating. Definitely a must see if you are looking to do something different! This event is hosted on the first Thursday of every month.

If youre artsy, youll love this place. The best time for is always the night time market on First Thursdays. This happens every first Thursday of the month.

Architecture and art are amazing

Really enjoyed the experience but think it could be bigger - took only half an hour to see everything. Food trucks are great and the quality of the food is superb. Go Fish food truck has particularly good calamari and chips. Ample seating which was a nice thing and the live music was entertaining but not obtrusive.

Coffee shop serves good cappuccino

Great experience. Many artists and variety of art works. The restaurants are high class and have a nice warm feel to them. Also a variety of restaurant styles

First Thursdays are the best, every first Thursday of the new month, they close off the street and local food vendor set up shop.There live music, good food and a great crowd.On a non First Thursday, there a a few cool store, the art gallery and some really good restaurants.

Loved the place and the environment..

For those who haven’t been, First Thursday’s are a right of passage here. But go early, don’t do dinner first. The galleries close sooner than you think. The street is shut off for First Thursday’s and there is an entrance fee. Expect food trucks, live music, art related activities, bars and unfortunately more than a few teenagers. Still worth it though!

Good food and beer, on the Thursday night event. My phone was pulled out my pocket and almost stolen. 5 other people claimed that their phones were stolen that night, wouldnt recommend until security is better.

Keyes Art Mile is a place to be if you want to meet new people, learn new cultures and explore your artistic views. Its amazing for those indecisive date lunches or girls day out. Do try it out

Has the making of a awesome night out but is lacking features.This will be a review will be based on first Thursday which hosted at keys Art miles.The event hosts a trendy vibe, with art, music and a very broad age group. Ive seen parent with there kids, teenagers and some seniors but most 20 something.Unfortunately there are a few draw back such as lack of parking. Security guards in the area demanding R30 up front. There is also a big lack of seating so prepare to stand. They recently started charging R105 entrance to the venue but overall nothing has actually changed once inside. There still the same amount of vendors as before, all it has done has created long ques to get in and online ticket failing to be read just makes it worse.There also no atm in the area. The last time they were struggling to keep the power going so make sure you have cash just incase. Otherwise you wont be able to get anythingIts really a good idea just really badly managed.

Upmarket expression for the love of art and complimentary delicacies like Afrikoa Chocolate.Cool modern African space. Hope it attracts enough foot traffic to keep it sustainable. Joburg can be a tricky crowd.

R95 entrance! For what?The only reason I went in is because I drove really far. There was no indication, before hand, that there was an exorbitant entrance fee to a street with expensive restaurants and fast food. There is nothing to see or do besides eat and drink in an overcrowded street.I doubt this greed inspired function will be around for long. I dont really think it is legal to close a public street and charge for access.

A great experience, djs doing a good job, but the live music was even better. the art on display was truly incredible.

Went to the food market there on some Saturdays. Its quite small but of high quality.

Enjoyed brunch at Milk Bar. Delicious uncomplicated food, good prices and a relaxed environment with live music and comfy couches.

Super cool spot. Love the pavement space and galleries. Loads of interesting eateries. Momo Kuro is my personal favorite tucked away up a hidden staircase with amazing Asian fusion food and views from the deck of Jozi

It plays amajor role in generating interest in cultural subjects. The venue is easily accessibleto all people inJoburg. It is drawing large crowds to its events.

First Thursdays is a lot of fun with quite a few options of food and drinks. Be prepared to struggle with moving around as it usually packed with people but that makes for a good vibe.
