I had high hopes and looked forward to a diversity of hand crafted, possibly unique items, sadly not, there are however numerous stalls mostly peddling the same old, same old African art, masks, and art. The market food court, consisting of around 8 stalls only have a limited and uninspiring selection. All in all, not the Rosebank market that once bustled with variety and endless choice.
Lots of stalls. Variety of the the products you can find. Just need more organized and directions.
Not as good as it used to be ...although food court has variety of good meals, and Thai masseurs are recommended. A lot of empty space and even regular vendors sometimes just dont arrive :(
Really nice variety of stalls. Friendly people all around. Good parking and yummy food and drinks.
Nice market with variety of items available. Some people think they are in possession of the holy grail with prices on items but that is part and parcel with these types of markets..
Really enjoyed it, fun, safe and neat. Nice stores and food stalls. Enjoyed the vibe.
Variety of food items and good prices too
Nice store display. Easy access, spacious and ice cream! Various fashion items sold.
I love Rosebank Sunday Market. The vibe and vendors are so amazing. Being undercover it is the perfect destination on a Sunday regardless of the weather. Food is amazing. Bar is great. Wonderful variety of things to buy. I am there just about every Sunday. I love to enjoy a cocktail and watch the world go by...
Having so much fun, friendly stall owners to grab all the cash haha Found a lot of stuff at reasonable prices.Haggle a bit first.
Rosebank flee market is desplayed on the parking area on fourth floor. Stalls displayes their items, like clothes, jewellery, books, art traditional outfits beautiful handbags
Amazing and heartwarming place to go with kids Loved it ♥️
The market is always fun to visit, especially the food stands.
GreatOne stop shopping mallTransport convenientBanksRestaurantsSecurity
Very challenging these days to go to The Zone for many years now with all this stop start your car as a means to see what and for what purpose..it boggles my mind even going in twice in pne day they still have to do
Cheap flea marketWide range good food for lunchAmple parking
Really fun Market with lots of different interesting and exciting stores. People are fun and happy to introduce their stores. Only con would be the place seems a bit dark and dingy in places and ruins the safe environment in certain areas. But overall a really enjoyable walk and shopping experience.
Under cover market on the top floor of the Rosebank Mall. Huge variety of stalls. Ranging from antiques to local crafts. Food stalls, lots of table and chairs around to sit and enjoy your food.
I was really happy when I got there. It was I discovered mini-paradise. There are a variety of things to buy and just a vibe ey.
Looks like they are organised for covid protocols etc but not many customers although we were there super early.
Kids love the train ride through the mall
Nice outing but not really for locals.Thank you for the reply. It is possible we went at the wrong time. Will come and give it another try.
Rosebank Sunday Market is amazing and their Stand for Hope is so beneficial to charities needing assistance. Visit the market to buy many items.
Crafters market every sunday at rosebank with unique pieces, food, african and cultural art. Beautiful
Great mall. One can find pretty much anything one needs there.
Enjoy to browse around as you can get some good stuff
Is this place woth going to is it save and is there places to enjoy a meal and drinks
An interesting collection of stalls but not much variation from others open markets.
Nice layout and lots of stalls the shopping center is clean and staff are helpfull
Has dropped over the years, used to be much bigger now going really tiny. I expected more
Still a great place for antiques and arts...Support the little guys because some may impress you more than any big guy! They will thank you for it.Food is exciting but not amazing, still one of the best markets in JHB, also theres alcohol on site.Plenty of Covid precautions 😉
Lots and lots of stores, mostly unorganized merchandise though... so you gotta enjoy rummaging through lots of things
Need more variety. Too many stalls with similar goods
Best market around. Loads to see and browse through.
Leka foot massages..not so much to see anymore though
Great variety. Good food
Lovely market, but slightly more to a foreign tourists tastes
The market is a great place to go but then it is so expensive. There is no variety of food, mostly clothes and none food items
Lots of variety of good food
Great Sunday Market, underroof, more arts and crafts than any other market in Jozi. Food stalls, kiddie play area, African arts and crafts. Loads of parking and by the Rosebank Mall.
Too many vintage/trinket stalls and not enough going on in the food court. Some nice art stalls and good coffee.
We thoroughly enjoyed the market experience. Lovely food was served. All stalls very professional.
Always have a great time here. Loads of good stuff to buy.
Very nice. Lots to see. It was my first time
Good selection. New and previously owned.
Lots to see... Nice vibe... Nice eats
Wide variety of foods. Seems like a safe covered area to conduct outdoor shopping.
Massive market with great variety of arts, crafts and food. Loved it, will be back.
There were many different things on sale ranging from antiques to more modern pieces.... I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon there. The food was also great.
Enjoyed the shopping, lots of interesting antique and good food stalls
Still suffering from Covid lockdown aftermath - not up to the activity prior to lockdown but still worth a visit
Loved it. Great outing for the family on a Sunday. Varied vendors.
Nice and clean, loved it
Ive visited the market on and off for years and this was by far the most disappointing experience for me sadly. Perhaps covid has had a serious impact here, it was just very desolate, not enough variety and the vibe was just not there anymore. I hope it comes back to life soon as it used to be an absolute gem on a Sunday morning
More open yet variety and the people are very friendly and awesome to speak to. I like it better than what it was before when it was too full of stands.
This is one of the original markets and a great way to spend a Sunday. The antiques are the best to browse and fund bargains. There is a large selection of stalls and no cheap products or duplicates allowed by the organisers. We find the food stalls amazing with a large variety of ethnic food, with most cooking fresh in front of you.
Rosebank market has a wide variety of stalls and so much to offer.
Lovely place.
My favourite way to spend a Sunday morning.Amazing stalls and vibe always great 🌻
Great place to buy local art works and to eat Sunday lunch while engaging the community.
This place is super amazing 😁💃
I have attended so many markets and networking sessions but it was my first at the Rosebank sunday Rooftop market. All information kiosks are so helpful. Dana organises these markets like I have never seen before. We offloaded with ease and uploaded with ease. She gave helpful tips for better sales and truly tried to help in every way she could. This was my best exoerience as a Trader. Thank you Dana and team. You rock.
A lot of antiques... I was hoping for a more variety of food stalls
Hard days waiting for the sale
👌cool stuff
Stunning variety of vegan options.
Good place to spend a Sunday, find some great stuff and see some different things too
Still a lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon. It was great to see a lot of good quality African crafts, ranging from clothing to tableware. I missed a few of the regular vendors though. It also seems that bartering is no longer allowed and the vendors appeared stressed rather than relaxed and fun-loving.
It was too hot to enjoy the space and be able to shop. Not sufficient air and the fans that were installed didnt help at all.
The stalls are spread out for COVID but I found it much more pleasant as a result. Very quiet today.
Very quiet and still a bit too many Touristy style stalls for me as a local but encouaging to see fresh produce being sold now :)
Beautiful experience
Love it. Good art
