Appalling service.Two years ago, I won a voucher for a winelands tour from Compass Travel. Two years later, I am still trying to redeem it.In 2012 and 2013, I inquired a number of times regarding redemption of this voucher. Each time I was told that either I had reached the incorrect person, or that someone would get back to me with dates and times. No-one ever resolved my query or got back to me. Late last year I went to their offices to speak to them directly, and found out that they had moved to... no-one knows where! After phoning again, I was told that a new and unrelated business had moved into the premises and was assigned Compass Travels old phone number. The new business informed me that they had been given no forwarding details for Compass Travel, and had received a number of calls requesting payment from Compass Travel. On CTs website, their old and invalid contact details remain the same. They seem to have simply vanished into thin air, clearly leaving dissatisfied clients and creditors in the lurch.Again - appalling business ethic and service.
