Really a bit disappointed.The sushi is great and so is the location, and our waitress was very friendly.Unfortunately you get the feeling that no one cares about the business anymore.The milkshakes were extremely watery and for a Large was not even filled to the top, which is fine but at least top it with whipped cream or something to make it look a bit more appealing.The cleaner, assisted by our waitress, start cleaning the fire place right behind us, talking very loudly, which wasnt really necessary because the music had stopped playing.When the Sushi arrived, the the bottom plate had a yellow/brownish smear on it, and when I asked for a new one the waitress came back with a new one, clutched to her chest and wiping the back with a dirty cloth.We asked for a glass of water before the main meal came and my girlfriend almost cut herself because the glass was chipped.When the main meal arrived the chips were cold and soggy and the medium-rare steak was medium-well. The Calamari was fine though, and the portion of chips was decent, so I will give them that.The salt shaker was damaged so copious amounts of salt came out when we tried to season the food.All in All, we tipped out 10%, laughed between us, but fully agreed that we wont go there again any time soon. Aside from the Sushi, definitely not worth it. Sorry guys.

Was not living up to the hype for me. Had issues with foreign objects in our ice. Sushi was acceptable but not great. To be fair this may just have been an off day for them.

Burger was good, had to wait for our starter meal for about 35min and it whas very salty and not tasty we had a good waiter, she kept us company

Service was excellent,.... but the food was even better. Sushi and prawns to does for and the grilled fish was superb. A real lovely gem and no need to dress up ..its that easy.

Its a great family restaurant with a large selection, however every dated and not changed at all in the years.One of the longer standing restaurants in Jbay and should be around for many years to come.Worth a visit for larger groups looking for decent priced seafood and sushi.Staff very friendly and helpful.

Terrible service. We arrived and were acknowledged by the waiter, and told to sit wherever we pleased. However, after almost 15 minutes of sitting at our table, we were still not helped. Just for reference - there were probably about 10 people in the restaurant overall. Went to The Greek next door which was super busy and theres a reason as to why they get more business - their service is excellent.

We had the best and freshest fish on our Garden Route trip there - Cape salmon fillet and butterfish espetada. Sushi was also super fresh, tasty, and reasonable.

It would really be good of the owner took a moment to make contact with me.What a dissapointing meal. Evidently not only for us, but in the time we were there, at least 3 tables left without eating.Another table had their food order all wrong.We had simple hake.......and prawns.The hake was watery and mushy.The prawns were heavily salted.The only good thing about the place tonight, was the wine and Raymond, the waiter. He was excellent in all the fuddle.Seriously, very very poor standard.

Popped in to share a Cajun calamari starter and a glass of wine and stayed for two...casual dining at really good prices. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

Catch if the day is an awesome local restaurant in the heart of Jeffreys Bay. The food is fresh and most delicious. The restaurant offers a real rustic appearance in looks and vibe. Service is great and staff are super friendly and helpful. If u looking for delicious fresh fish this is the place. Its not fancy with frills .... just awesomely lekker and local. Prices are reasonable and good value.

Food was delicious and big portions to boot. Was crowded and did not seems to control social distance at all. You needed to pay two separate card machine if you ordered sushi. The wait staff was friendly but the one female staff member looked annoyed.

Outstanding! We had their catch of the day, which happened to be cob, a favourite. It was scrumptious. The best out of the three very good restaurants we tried in Jeffreys bay. Excellent food at a very reasonable price! Will not miss eating there when we visit Jeffreys Bay.

I still cannot believe that you can get a fish dish cheaper inland than at venues allong any coastal town.Catch of the Days prices have increased, so much so that their menu has shrunk to hardly any fish meals. Hamburgers and pastas are meals of the day.To celebrate my daughters birthday, cost me as a 81 year old pensioner, nearly R600,00, straight 4 meals, 3 colddrinks and a glass of wine.Sorry not to be repeated again.Take aways for 4 at less than half the price, to pick and choose, fishmeals, burgers, chicken, you name it.That is my meaning, to proof it, I do not think that 10 tables were occupied at 20:00 on Friday evening with only two waiters on shift......

Usually super full in seasonal months. Make sure to book! Because of this food takes a bit longer, BUT its worth the wait! Sushi and fish is amazing! Nice to visit with anyone (couple; parents; friends; kids) Nice that theres a smoking and on smoking area and that its separated. View of the ocean.

Their fish are delicious and the staff are helpful. What might look like a hole in the wall might be the surprise you never expected. Try their desserts they got a nice variety as well.

Could not proceed to the main course unfortunately. A good place to meet friends and chill. Not recommended for a culinary experience.

Well. We thought it looked cute from outside. Inside is a bit dark and dingy. Seafood pizza had frozen seafood mix on it. The hake and chips does not even get tartare sauce. All in all a bit expensive for what you get. Friendly service though...

Sushi here is the best,, but they also serve fried and grilled fish... Its a all see food (only in Jeffreys bay) restaurant wish such a holiday see atmosphere about(youll see what I mean when you see the decoration and interior design) but if you go here,, please try the salmon roses!! You wont regret it

I had sushi as a starter and for the main course I had fish/calamari combo. It was absolutely fabulous! Best salmon sushi I’ve ever had. The staff was really nice and if you are looking for the freshest seafood in Jeffrey’s with a rustic/cozy atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Nice atmosphere, can see the ocean and beach, super yummy food. A tad expensive compared to the amount of food you get. Some guests get a little too rowdy. This is a nice place to go!
