Easy stop off the N3. Good coffee. Variety of high quality products.Much potential.I would love to see more of the story of honey. Perhaps an observation hive and some informative displays about how the honey gets from the bee to me.

The place is amazing but the entrance to drive in and out is chaos. Not enough space for the cars and a wall blocks visibility with an awkward uphill going out making it hard to reverse or make way for incoming cars.

What a delight and splendor it was when I saw Peels Honey on the N3 Howich off ramp .This was a magical treat as I have always driven at night to JNB or back so seeing this was as if it had dropped from the sky and with all that honey it surely did for meThe ladies working in the shop are just absolutely amazing friendly funny and Iove their initiative to assist,awesome breaking point for JHB trip.Awesome artistic bathroom painting hangs, in the spotless toilets.From honey, pickles, combs, fruit, stuffed toys, brittles and creams.Nice picnic spot with an awesome jungle gymKeep it Awesome Peels

Love the new shop...very quaint and lots of bees buzzing around 😍 but the honey is rather expensive. Found some lovely bees wax there.

Open since 1912 and still going strong. The staff were very knowledgeable 👌 and friendly. ❤ there is a variety of honey flavours that plays havoc with your imagination. We have always been very satisfied with Peels honey products.

A nice little selection of products, and spacious plot, but the barista/waiter/cashier is not particularly friendly, nor does she make a decent cup of coffee - a waste of Terbodore coffee and a good location, as far as Im concerned.

Whenever I drive past Howick, then a visit to Peels Honey is always a must. The selection of naturally sweet treats grows with each visit. This year Sir Edmund photo bombed my photo of the creamed honey I ended up buying. There shop at the Greendale shopping center is also worth a visit.

The Peels store has moved into a container so its a bit small . The toilets are very clean and neat . Found staff abit unfriendly though .

Oldest 100% natural honey producer in South Africa. Great little shop situated just off the N3 offering several different locally made gifts and honey products. Prices are very reasonable considering everything is 100% local.Toilet facilities are available if you buy from the shop. Ample parking also available.Remember to check that your honey is made in South Africa and not just packed in South Africa as most honey isnt pure and can be mixed with corn or sugar syrup to bulk it up. Pure local honey would cost around R65 per 500g.

A new fresh face for Peels alone the N3. Closely accessible with a coffee shop inside- Makes for a good stopover point. Croissants were divine! and their usual range of local items for available for sale.

The new container shop has no personality, the shop looks like a factory like feeling. Suggest if you need honey, buy your peels honey from any of the local spars. It will be more fun. Also note: when raining, the ground around the container is very wet, slippery, and dangerous. Not to mention the horrific potholes you have to drive through when leaving.

Well worth visit. Great products.

Pathetic service! Ordered online and live in another Province. After a week of not hearing anything about my order contacted them and spoke to an Annaleez who promised to get back to me and did not until I called back. Eventually spoke to a Nicole who responded once twice and eventually sarcastically said she was not the right person to query with. Annaleez basically said they were not to blame but the couriers. They took no responsibility... Fast forward.. Order was resent with another courier and another week later nobody including the courier can tell me where the order is. Dont bother to order online!

They have moved across the road and under reconstruction. The prices seem to have climbed high, but they are not clearly marked, which is frustrating. Their wide range now includes sour dough bread. Friendly staff.
