I moved to the Midlands from JHB end 2020 and, being half Italian and therefore picky about pizza, had really struggled to find a place that got both the pizza base right and had the traditional ingredients available to make a classic topping. I also missed the vibe of Parkhursts Jolly Roger and Grahamstowns Rat and Parrot before that. Well, what a lekker surprise finding Delish Dish! Their pizzas are wood-fired, crispy-based and delicious. Their draft beer is cold and well-priced and the vibe is suitably pirate ship, instead of space ship. The staff are friendly, efficient and full of jokes. I felt instantly at home and have found my regular jaunt.

Popped in for their fantastic special..R75 for a beer and a pizza, my beer was a Black Label draught and spicy chicken pizza,both were super!

Service is poor. Two waiters serving both the bar and rest of restaurant, no manager in sight. The pizza was good. Didnt bother with dessert as there was no-one to serve it.

How have i not reviewed this place yet? we went there 31 january 2014 and my wife and i still remember this burger. one day we will be in the area again and ill have another burger.

My favourite restaurant in Howick so far. (Havent been to them all)Theres outside tables on both sides of the bar as well as out front. Then more tables on the veranda. Inside there is a dining room of sorts and small walkway leading out onto a weatherproof deck with more tables.They serve various foods but I love their specialty pizzas in particular fresh from the traditional pizza oven.

Delish Dish is our favourite place for dinners out or a simple hot chocolate with a friend, on a student budget.Their pizzas are legendary and they have a wide choice of toppings; even a picky-eater would find a winner taste experience!Pizzas are also conveniently made to take-away.Delish Dish staff are friendly, music is pleasant and families with kids are well catered for.We highly recommend this local spot.

Come with a hungry appetite! Pizzas here are amazing! I highly recommend The Godfather: Mince, steak, ham, bacon, russian, mushrooms and garlic! Service is great, and prices are reasonable. This place is kid friendly too, with a trampoline and climbing frame. Enjoy!

The menu is always consistently good.The food is well presented and tasty.There is a good selection on the menu.As we go there regularly we are given good service.The pub has a good ambience and even though I personally dont drink alcohol their cuppachinos are good. The staff are very welcoming.

Delish Dish is my favourite restaurant & pub. Once you become a regular, you feel like part of a family and the service is always top notch. As for the food, I have never been disappointed. Theres a huge variety to choose from, especially their pizzas which are delish!

Arrived for dinner on Friday night and sat on the deck near the pizza station. No music and no real ambiance. Then had the owner swearing at his pizza staff and heard him saying people are waiting 1.5hrs for pizzas. As we had come in for Pizzas we decided waiting 1.5hr and putting up with the owners shocking treatment of his staff was not worth the wait so we left. On previous occasions the food has been good but they need music and better ambiance would be nice.

One of the top choices for a family meal, or just a quick pizza. Food is always great and menu choices awesome. If you just want a drink, to watch sport or just chill with mates, there is a separate bar to relax and socialize in.

An enjoyable late lunch with the family who were all satisfied with their meals. The Godfather pizza is highly recommended.

Food excellent, but service terrible. After waiting quite a long time for service ourselves the table next to us had to get up to go and look for a waiter so we could order drinks and our food. What should have been a pleasant birthday meal turned out to be just the opposite. The evening ended being charged for a drink we didnt have. Strongly suggest more staff employed to avoid this occuring.
