Peaceful friendly homely home from home. A must to visit

The venue has potential if it is maintained properly as it has a beautiful view and beautiful flowers. The house is in need of urgent upgrade, it is falling apart with no doors on the rooms and bathrooms ,the showers not tiled, the kitchen is very old. We could have tolerated all of these if the owner was friendly, but she was rude with unacceptable attitude. I will not recommend anyone to this venue

The farm is so beautiful and relaxing. Will definitely go again

The venue does not have enough water and the tapes can dry up any time during the stay. The toilet and bathrooms have no closing doors. The venue is characterized very old fittings with no burglar guards and no proper closets. There is also unfriendly welcome. The bathrooms are not tiled. The venue is very noisy as it is next to the highway to Johannesburg.on the other hand, venue is located in a farm with cattle grazing around. The kitchen is very good with utensils for those who want self catering. The venue has a beautiful garden with a Braais stand that visitors are free to use.

The place was not comfortable for my family as room doors and bathrooms could not close. Above all the owner was not respectful. She was rud and lack of hospitality culture that characterise the B&B owners. The swimming pool is not maintained and is small compare to the way is displayed on the website. No Covid-19 protocols were in place. Therefore, I cannot recommend the place to anyone before improvement. I only recommend the cottage owner, to undergo proper training in order to improve in this area.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay. The accommodation was clean and well appointed. Very relaxing, quiet and stunning views from the patio. The hosts are friendly and very welcoming. I will certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

Struggled getting water each day. And owner was very rude with bad service

Such a homely and cosy cottage, the owners are so friendly and the garden is beautiful. There is dstv and wifi which is a plus but its so lovely outside that youd rather relax and enjoy the house and garden. The cottage feels like a home. I love it here

This review refers to four-bedroomed Thatch Cottage.Heating, lighting and insulation inadequate. Door missing on bathroom and on main bedroom. Door handles missing. Doors that were there did not close. Window handles and catches missing. Wardrobe handles missing. Burglar guards not fixed to wall. Shower floors not tiled. Windows without curtains. No hand towels. Bird crap on dining room tablecloth. No wifi. Gas supply for heater ran out and was not replenished. Whole place draughty and dingy. No electric blanket that was promised. Servicing limited to breakfast dish washing - only happened on day one. Avoid this place - especially in winter.

Really lovely spot! Only drawback is the noise from the N3 which is fairly close...

Charming and picturesque....

Very noisy from the traffic on the highway which is close to the cottage. Outside area could be better maintained, as could the communal bathroom and toilet.

Lovely self catering farm cottage. Very cozy accommodation, with every utensil and creature comfort youd expect from a way more expensive lodge. Everything is beautifully layed out. There are several units available, ranging in price and size. WIFI is available, but the regular cell coverage is excellent. Right in the middle of many of the Midland Miander sites, this idellic farm feel cottage is really a welcoming and relaxing experience. Awesome farm views, with cows grazing close by. Highly recommend.
