Coming from Durban I wasn’t expecting much for the R40 all day breakfast but, wow, was I surprised. There was enough food to make 3 breakfasts in other restaurants I’ve been to. Definitely somewhere to revisit.

I think I will go elsewhere next time. Dirty tables, disinterested waitresses and I had to ask to pay. Not my best coffee shop experience ...Im sure they have good days, but not today...

First visit here! Nice spot for a quick breakfast and Lavazza Coffee!! But its worth a try and a recommendation!👍🏼2nd visit had a toasted marshmallow milkshake, presentation wise it looked pretty boring but tasted good (if you have a sweet tooth!!) The honey mustard dip with this grilled cheese sandwich was pretty good! 👍🏼 and the chips are good to! 👌🏽

Staff are friendly and efficient and their breakfast are really good and value for money. Waitresses and staff all wear masks and they keep the tables sanitised as patrons leave.

Our favourite breakfast place, best hot chocolate in town! Good coffee. Value for money all day breakfasts and the toasted sandwhiches come with chips. Friendly service. Clean, industrial style decor.

I visit Spar in Howick on a monthly basis. Enjoy going there. Very helpful. Food well prepared and reasonable. Sometimes have to wait a bit. Popular place for locals. TV available with the rugby.

Although the food is great at reasonable prices I found the staff arrogant and not prepared to admit mistakes. My wife ordered a Chicken and Mushroom pie with chips. After eating some chips and two bites of pie she realised that it was not chicken but steak. On questioning the staff she was told that the chicken was finished and without referring to her served up a steak pie and as she had eaten some of the food they refused to take it back or refund the cost. Result. My wife did not eat anything and left a very unhappy customer!!

Good place for a meal. Well prepared food. Service is extremely slow. So if you want a quick meal, this is not the place.

Best value for money is the special breakfast and you get great quality. Very nice cappuccino. Well worth a visit and nibble.

Lactose free milk not an option unless you purchase the milk yourself from the SPAR and bring it to them. They still charge full price for the cappuccino and not for just the shot. With the lactose free milk being so easily accessible, it would do them well to have this as an option. The staff are friendly and the coffee was good.

Visited Bean Tree for snack lunch on 26 July...what a terrible experience. Very small menu, ordered medium eggs on toast with avo, waited 30 mins and eggs were grossly overcooked and greasy. When complained to staff, they shrugged their shoulders. Generally staff attitude was disinterested. Adjacent table was not cleared during our 45 min visit. No sign of management supervision. We shall not be back.

We had a very bad experience, patrons that came after us got their food before us, my mom and daughter got their food, and then later 2 sets of cutlary, then we asked about our drinks which we had not yet received, they then brought my wife and my beverage but not my moms or daughters, they then brought the other two beverages, I then asked about the other food that was ordered, which then came incorrectly..
