Great selection of hardware. Everything is laid out in a logical way. Their wood department has a full workshop that can fabricate anything you want. Their prices for fabrication are reasonable.

Change of owners have ushered in a change of service level. Used to be great.

Build it is very well situated and holds an enormous range of building materials from appliances, fittings and DIY items to heavy building materials. There is also a good plant selection and to top it all you can enjoy breakfast, sandwiches etc. and coffee/capaccinos at unbeatable prices. Highly recommended!

I am so sad about this place. I bought goods and asked to delay delivery. when i went to claim them. I am not getting assistance. They promised to call but never did. I am very disappointed to this shop. When i went to the shop no one took charge to assist, but I was made to feel as if am on the wrong. I am not prepared to do business with them in future. If you do, be prepared yo loose both money and goods. NOT a good shop. People like me are undermined.

Really dissapointed in the recent service levels. Twice now we had to walk out and go to another Hardware up the road. It seems that if you are known to staff you get great service, but otherwise not...

Phoned in a few minutes ago to get pricing on precast slabs for my wall. Firstly The Lady that answered didnt know what I was asking for secondly she had put the phone on the counter and made a mockery of me with her colleges while I could here everything she was saying and then just hung up the phone. I wont support them again.

Second poor experience with the staff who cut keys. They had a argument as to who was to cut the copies. Left and went to Robbins who did the job in 2 minutes.
