Awesome place. Best staff ever. They treat you like you are their only guests. Im vegan and they went out of their way to ensure that I was catered for. The rooms are so comfortable and welcoming. Definitely requires a revisit when I am back in Natal.

Not bad accomodation for the price you pay. Rooms are not luxurious, but are comfortable and spacious. Linen was clean and towels were nice and soft, but reception staff were unprofessional. Sadly, the fact that reception staff were overly familiar with us for the whole duration of our stay means that we will not be staying there again in future.

What a gorgeous spot to overnight at! Thabisa went out of his way to accommodate us with a packed breakfast when we had to leave too early for breakfast.I can thoroughly recommend staying over at Biggy Best

The people running Buggy Best is some of the most friendly and helpful people I have met in a long time. The Corporate rooms are very neat and well equipped to make it easy and comfi to stay over. Sleep two The restaurants service is excellent! The cottage is perfect for a couple with of without children with its own little kitchen. Sleeps four. Biggy Best is close yo petrol station and shops.

Rooms not ready on arrival at 2.30pm

Accommodation was excellent. Only one fridge in the entrance was a bit of a problem, my husband had to put his insulin in the fridge and the fridge was very full. Only one more comment the breakfasts were very tasty just unfortunate that the staff were very noisy. Still a good experience.

We had some car trouble and ended up checking in at 3am. The staff and owners were absolutely fantastic! They went completely out of their way to help us. Cottage was large enough for my big family, and a good standard, decent breakfast and tranquil surroundings.

We only ate dinner and didn’t stay over. The food was okay, but the “strawberry cheesecake” was small, had no cheesecake in it, but rather was a stale sponge cake base with some red elastic jelly topping, all delivered awkwardly in a tin pie foil dish. It wasn’t anything we could have expected.The “Malva pudding” was the exact same stale sponge cake, served as a burnt muffin and no sauce at all. Not even custard. But it did have some white ice cream which I think is making my tummy run.The homemade cheeseburger was tiny. The ribs were mediocre. The chicken schnitzel was overpriced for the small serving.The place, otherwise, is really nice. There’s a little piggy running around and a pony, ducks, jungle gym, and peacocks which makes the setting really lovely. I can’t recommend this place to eat at, but it might be nice to stay over for a night.

Very nice accommodation. Breakfast tasty, just a suggestion, dont serve the fruit salad and yoghurt in a bowl thats chipped.

I wanted to give it a 4 star but there are some basics lacking. The rooms was nice and modern but lacking some basics like a toilet roll holder a soap holder in the shower. Also they really need to install extractor fans. Service at the restaurant needs a lot of attention.

Such a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. Beautiful garden with some chickens, tortoises and a rabbit or two calling this place their home, my son was ecstatic.... I honestly encourage people to make this place a stop on their next visit to Howick

Spent one night at Biggy Best. Rooms are modern, clean sheets and fresh towels. However, no toilet paper, my guess is because there’s no toilet roll holder! As was point out by a previous reviewer. (Need to get this right Biggy Best team)Meals were good, but a very limited selection of beverages including wines.Cell phone signal not the best, perhaps that’s my service provider, although I could get Wi-Fi wasn’t able to connect....not sure!Thanks for a pleasant stay and good luck.

Absolutely disappointing. Do. Not recomend it. They werent ready for our arrival making the excuse it was the Easter Weekend. The resturant was closed as they had no chef of which we werent informed. The room was freezing on our arrival as the window had been left open on a very cold day. Made it unwelcoming and unfortunately i came away with flee bites from the carpet

Decent place, clean and in a very relaxing environment however the breakfast was not good at all, neither was the wifi working when it stated that they offered wifi on various booking websites

My partner and i booked the honeymoon suite,we dont usually write reviews but this was not the best experience especially for the price we paid (R900)...the first thing was the ancient TV which was the smallest size we have ever seen, was surprised it even had Dstv only to find it didnt work; secondly, the room looked good up until we had to sleep, it seemed the place had not been dusted off in preparation for us, thirdly, we could not sleep well as a result of crawlies which we do not wish to mention. Overall, very disappointed, the only good thing was the lovely lady who showed us to our room.

Overpriced,touted as upmarket.Breakfast quality decayed over three day stay.Noisy,dark,too small for proper shower or bath.No light to shave.Once bitten !!!

The customer service is Awesome ! The accomadation is so pleasant and clean. Fresh air, crisp bedding and towels ! I stayed with my family in The Coachouse.

Needs tlc and a bit more thought needs to go into certain things. Owners friendly and a good size room.

Stayed at Biggy Best Cottages in Howick 23rd Dec to 26th Dec 2016 whilst in Howick for a friends wedding.Accommodation was booked a week earlier, when Samantha confirmed the booking no mention was made if there was a specific check in time for the 23rd of Dec. Upon arrival at 11:30am on the day our group, which consisted of 2 couples and friends (3 rooms) that our rooms would only be ready at 2pm!Considering we had left Joburg at 5am, traveled on a traffic laden highway, having to while up the hours whilst waiting for our rooms to be prepared was totally unacceptable.The general cleanliness of the Breakfast area was also a let down, coming down for breakfast with Windolene spray bottles on the table, plates from other residents not cleared timeously. Breakfast waiting time was also slow. Suggestion would be hire more staff for such a busy holiday period.On a positive note the staff (Cindy, Zama & Marco The Manager) were friendly and professional when dealing with our requests. Marco was friendly, made conversation and addressed all our concerns and complaints timeously.The let downs aside would definitely give Biggy Best Cottages another try if ever in Howick.
