Fantastic four days in the Bush. Welcome was warm, friendly and seamless. The food is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Our guide, Grant, is knowledgeable, friendly and goes out of his way to find animals and birds. Moses the tracker is out of this world. Thandeka our butler is fantastic at her job, sweet, friendly and helpful. Promise, in charge of room goes the extra mile to see to the guests comfort . 5 stars!!

A really spectacular camp. Loved it. Might be a bit cold in winter. Ranger was excellent and we had great sightings of Wild Dog, lion and Leopard. Loved the relaxed atmosphere in the bush.

Incredible....we loved it. Tent an absolute luxury and definitely with a difference. Saw lots of animals. Had delicious meals and our private butler was a real treat!

Oh what a gem of a place. After 6hrs of driving from Pretoria, it was truly worth it.On our arrival, my husband and I were welcomed by elephants roaming nearby the dining area. Did I mention what a view it was!? It was like watching nature at its best on a huge plasma screen (so surreal).. you truly become one with nature.We had a butler who made sure we were well taken care of at all times, giving us enough attention but yet enough privacy.Our luxurious tented room was definitely something new for us with no detail left unattended. The decor is very modern and ever so practical. The best coffees were on offer.The food was ALWAYS on point. Perfectly warmed plates with generous portions. You never go hungry, if anything, youd wish to have enough space to stomach all the amazing food.All staff were exceptional and really made us feel at home.A big thank you to Joe and the team.This was the perfect pre-honeymoon and we cant wait to be back.

South Africa is blessed with a wonderful variety of game reserves, wildlife, spectacular scenery and lodge options from five-star luxury to rustic simplicity. This week was spent in beautiful Saseka Camp, part of the Thornybush Collection. We enjoyed tremendously our twice-daily game drives. We had some of the most unforgettable experiences while watching the breathtaking wildlife.There is something very special about an African Safari... it touches a very dear place in ones heart. For us, it was magical !The room is so comfortable and has a private pool. The food was excellentFinally, the staff at the lodge are warm and very friendly. We were particularly found of Amanda, Kedis and Eric. They were amazing !We feel very privileged to have had this super amazing experience at Saseka.Thank you to Everyone ;-)

Wow, what a stunning new lodge! Set right on the river bank. Beautiful Bush setting, amazing team. Great lodge for anyone who would like to have a real Bush experience in a luxury setting.

My family and I recently came back form a trip to South Africa it was our first trip to Africa and ultimately the trip of a lifetime, but what we will remember most is the time we spent at Saseka. We stayed from March 24th - March 28th and the memories started from the time we arrived. They say timing is everything and we couldnt have timed it any better, because fortunately for us we had the whole place to ourselves for the first three nights we were there.The camp is amazing, it blends into its surroundings seamlessly and they have left no stone unturned, this is not camping its Glamping at its best. The tents are roomy, extremely comfortable (they have A/C), private and very well accentuated.The food and beverage offerings are delicious and never ending, with breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and all beverages included.However what separates this camp from every other camp are the people that work there, I cannot say enough about them, they were simply amazing. They were so warm and accommodating, you couldnt help but feel welcomed, and by the time we left we felt like family.Michael & Michelle the couple that manage the camp make you feel as though youre coming into theyre home, they are on hand to greet you, they always have time to share a kind word, and are genuinely concerned about your well being.Kel and Moses are the best Guide and Tracker team you could possibly ask for, they were engaging, knowledgeable, funny and very accommodating.This was also our first safari and those two made it the best safari ever, from our morning coffee with Amarula (coffee drinking will never be the same) to our evening sundowners, there was never a dull moment with this crew. Not to mention all the amazing animal encounters, I think we saw the big 5 in the first two days.Then there was Neladi, who looked after all our food and beverage needs (from breakfast to dinner), she was a delightful and sweet young lady and we were very grateful for all that she did for us. Demi and Bradley were also always on hand to assist wherever needed, as well as the numerous others involved in making this an experience of a lifetime.Thanks again for everything, you will always have a place in our minds and in our hearts, and we wish you continued success and happiness.Michael, Gina, Jade and Rio Morris

Don’t be frightened by the lack of reviews, as this is a very new lodge. Everything was quite literally perfect. My wife and I were lucky enough to stay here during our Honeymoon August 2019 and have had nothing but a truly unique, fantastic time.The staff - friendly, accommodating, informative, everything you could possibly want. Our guide Jack and our trackers Ishmael and Lucan were fantastic! What more could we possibly ask for than seeing the big 5 only 2 drives into our stay! We have been blown away with every single excursion into the bush. The team here knows what they are doing, and they make it an extremely fun and memorable experience, all the way down to having coffee in the bush surrounded by giraffes!Naladi our hostess/butler was a true highlight. She proactively took care of our every need and was a downright pleasure to talk to and have around. She is fantastic! Highly recommend requesting her when you book a stay here.The Lodge - The tented rooms are comparable to any 5 star luxury hotel. Our previous night prior to coming to Saseka was at the Four Seasons in Johannesburg and our tent here was nicer! The outdoor showers are super nice, the staff at the lodge is incredibly attentive and kind, I can’t say enough good things!!!The food - Wow. Just wow. Don’t worry about going hungry, you wont. The food is high end, delicious and plentiful. The chefs accommodate any special requests easily, and the food has been truly terrific every-single-meal.The setting is very geared towards couples but we have encountered many families who are enjoying their stay just as much.Thanks to every member of the staff for making this stop on our honeymoon one of the most memorable trips of our life. We had a fantastic time and we can’t wait to come back!
