The hosts were very friendly and caring. The facility was excluded and just what I needed. To shower under the open sky makes it so perfect.

Amazing place. Nature at its best. The Orpen gate is a bit of drive from the accommodation but if you this far out I guess driving is part of the experience

Andre was an extremely friendly and warm host with nice sense of humor. He was very knowledgable about the animals and wild living around the Bush Camp. He took his time to show some of the psychedelic scorpions that lived in a tree which was amazing. The tent is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor shower was amazing, there was hot water and cute monkeys observing you.We arrived late in the evening and forgot to book food, but Andre was so kind as to give him some food that he prepared and froze. All for an extremely low price. We would absolutely book again since this stay was one of our best experiences. Hearing wild animals all through the night (the camp itself is very safe by the way) is such a nice experience.Recommended to everyone that wishes to sleep for an extremely affordable price with a nice host.Andre also built the nicest self sustaining home! Really cool

Loved our stay at Andre’s bush camp. From hearing hyenas at night to relaxing by the pool and wandering the property with his dog Savannah, we had an awesome visit. This spot is far from everything (which is why it’s so magical) so do your shopping before and just plan on a quiet few days out in the bush!

If youre looking for an authentic african, owner run, rustic bush camp this is your place. The place could use a little TLC but it also adds to its charm. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and hands on. The location is right in the bush where you can enjoy all the beautiful sounds of nature the way nature intended. It is also not far from the Krugar park and within driving distance of some shops if you need the basics.

Andre is now host. Prices quoted is not what you pay he changes it as he likes. Place is not maintained at all. Broken tile on floor outside the tent and in the shower area just waiting to cut someone bad. Rats al over eating thru our containers to get to the breadand running over our bed at nightKitchen utinsels is out of Noahs ark with rust all over. We are kampers and like buch living but this was a bad experience and then he says he caters for overseas tourists. I really am ashamed if this is true if this is what we as south Africans over our quest to our beautiful country. Wil not recommend it to anyone. Tourism bourd should please investigate this place

Nice place, groovy safari tents and outside bathrooms. Digged the bush vibe - could hear hyena, lion and leopard right from the braai

Basic .Down to earth. If you love the bush and luxury not that important. Sounds of animals at night. Unpolluted sky with beautiful stars. Smell the bushveld fire and the steaks. Lots of birds, a birders paradise. The most famoys big five game reserves and ranches around and in the neighbourhood. Near the Orpen gate to do day visits at the Krugerpark. Near the Blyde River Canyon, and 20+ famous attractions.
