Had a really relaxing weekend at African Rock Lodge. Sander, Juliet & team were the perfect hosts. Delicious breakfasts & dinners served, spending evenings by the boma, a walk in the wildlife estate. I wish we could have stayed longer & we surely will be back

Amazing place, rooms well kept, everything explained to perfection...felt so much like home, we could access the kitchen... Within minutes of checking in already we had seen beautiful wildlife. The pool area was my greatest hi light... Would definitely come back here next time Im in limpopo.

Fantastic hospitality from Sander and Juliet! Lovely firepit, dinner area and bushveld atmosphere. Perhaps the best of all was the braaivleis (BBQ) dinner!

The owners of this lodge are super friendly and want you to have a good time at their place. The room was really comfortable and the private patio attached to the room was a plus! Breakfast and dinner was really good as well. We booked a package with them to go to Kruger for one day with a guide and that was really nice as well. They also have bikes at their lodge and that was really great. We enjoyed the MTB ride and we saw lots of animals. Great experience.

Nothing can beat the experience of staying at African Rock Lodge. Sander is too kind, helping and wonderful host. Breakfast & all meals were awesome. Rooms are cozy, clean and big enough. Hugh bathrooms I must say. Outside swimming pool and deck is awesome.

Stayed for for four days . Everything was perfect. We welcomed by Juliet with smile Sanders followed and greet us with our language Sepedi and he is Belgian. Breakfast was mouth watering. Hospitality we got from the host and their staff was superb. African rock is home away from home.The estate is safe n cool.

Ive been in African rock lodge for a couple of days and i had a lovely experience. The staffs are comprehensives and receptives. You can feel inside África, because the decoration and style of rooms. I strongly recomend this acommodation.

Comfortable accommodation, good food and bush setting.

We received a very warm welcome and felt at home straight away. Our room was very cosy, comfortable and clean. There an honesty bar in the room as well as free tea and coffee.The service was excellent. Breakfast was nice - a choice of a cooked breakfast and/or continental. Even though the lodge was a B&B we were offered dinner the first night we were there - the weather was nice so the owners were having a braai (bbq). It was well worth the extra price - the food was delicious.The resident cat was very laid back and enjoyed human company.Unfortunately we didnt have time to swim in the pool.

Very friendly clean and tidy.

For us the most beautiful lodge during our vacation in South Africa. Perfect after a day or more in the Blyde River and as a starting point for a trip to Kruger Park. Fantastic dinner, even better, freshly prepared breakfast. And the rooms are awesome. In the morning several warthogs came to the terrace of our room. Thanks for this place!

The best thing about this lodge is the service. The organization of tours, questions about the country and people or washing the laundry, everything was done quickly and well. The dinner was great. Sander is a very dedicated host. Always happy again.

What a fantastic Lodge at this game park. All animals can be admired by bicycle. They are really there. Care at the lodge is more than excellent. Food great. Luxury room and nice swimming pool. Big plume.

If you are looking for perfection this is the place to go! Hosts of unmatched sympathy, a fabulous breakfast, an extra ordinary evening meal (to be absolutely sure if you sleep here) the service is perfect worthy of a palace, with the smile and the simplicity of a room d host! Although the price is a bit on the high side, you do get something in return. The lodge is located in a mini game park. About 50% habitation and 50% nature with wild animals.You can walk through the park on your own. We have seen giraffes and zebras. Furthermore, a great accommodation! And a welcome with a local beer.

Great lodge in a fenced area!

Great experience in the lodge. The owner speaks french and gave us a lot of advice to visit the area. The lodge is located in a small reserve, which can be traveled by car, on foot or by bike, it is an excellent appetizer before Kruger, and allowed us to see in peace and out of the car our first animals.The rooms are decorated in the atmosphere, well equipped and quiet. We can book a braii for the evening, very good and very rich. The breakfast is top, complete, fresh and good.This lodge is a big favorite of our holidays!
