A fantastic meal on a chilli Sunday afternoon. Fire place was most welcome.

A restaurant with a must-try cheesecake! The scone was also delicious. A perfect cake and tea (or coffee for me) spot in Hilton. I do wish they had vegan options, so they lost a star there.

I visited my family in Hilton.We went to Jax for lunch Saturday 30 Jan 2021.It was so yummy. We went back Sunday and I can totally recommend the thai and coli rice dish.Covid rules are being adhered to and I felt very safeWell done to the Management and staff 10/10

Meals took way too long to be served, and hubbys tikka burger had cinnamon sticks in it, imagine biting into a cinnamon stick-really unpleasant

We were welcomed by the staff who were very friendly. They got our drinks order out quickly and the carrot cake followed soon after. Both were delicious. Carrot cake slice was a generous portion, worth the money! A nice spot for a coffee and a catch up with friends or a sit down meal. Theyve updated their menu and have a variety of options of different dietary needs. A cosy spot inside as it was raining outside (lovely when the fire is going!) and relaxed atmosphere. As locals in Hilton, we will be back to try the new enticing dishes.

Great place for a bite to eat. Staff and Employees are very polite and friendly. Both the menu and food are very good. Restuarant is kept very clean and tidy. Service is quite fast. I really enjoyed going there especially after shopping.

Awesome food. Awesome staff.Sanitizer has weird odour and when eating/drinking hands still carry the smell .... Maybe change that up - especially as it will be around for a while still.

Very convenient with tasty coffee. Our latest meal there was very mayonaisse heavy so next time Ill ask for that to be on the side. The waitress was not the most attentive. But Ill de dink go back.

Most amazing food!

Had a pulled pork toasted sandwich with side salad. Was absolutely delicious and the salad dressing to die for.

The atmosphere is ok and the positioning is convenient but the coffee is very very average. (dont even consider ordering decaf if youre that way inclined)The one thing going for Jaxx is that it is open even when the other restaurants of Hilton are closed. Unless everything else is closed again I wont be coming back.

I really liked this Restuarant. The Cappuchino was a Delight. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. A Vegan Full Breakfast is needed. The Breakfast Wrap I had without Bacon and it was delicious. Im going back to try their Vegan Burger. Nice seating to!

Waitress was friendly and helpful but I would not advise this as a stop for a Sunday afternoon coffee and cake stop. Most items requested where either discontinued or out of stock. Even the poor croissant looked very sad (not fluffy or buttery and luke warm). What a pity.

Good food at reasonable prices

Have many a time come to order one of their fabulous milkshakes on the menu and almost every single milkshake was out of stock due to some ingredient being finished... yet quarry spar is a 1 min walk away - which shouldn’t stop you from serving the items shown on your menu. When you could get one of your staff to quickly go purchase the key ingredient ie. Romany creams etc etc. Food menu is very great though!

This eating place is across the grass patch from our shop, Cherylin Creations, in the Quarry Centre, Hilton. For us it is the perfect place for our customers to enjoy a coffee or meal when coming to shop with us. They make amazing meals and the coffee is great. The new owner has made such a difference to the service, and the menu that my staff and I are there every day. Great place to visit, with some of the tables for seating customers, on the deck overlooking the Quarry dam.

I enjoy the waffles as they so fresh and the toasted sandwiches cause they nice and crispy.

Sloppy milkshakes and ice coffee.Seemed like the milkshakes were made from remnants of other shakes.Chocolate shake tasted of banana.Coffee freeze had condensed milk at bottom.However ladies fish meals next to us looked fabulous.Waitress attention negative too.A pity as Jaxx used to be my go to place.

Most delicious, melt-in-the mouth scones,baked by Jabu. Friendly service.Visited again less than week later:Disappointed by slow and inaccurate service and some attitude on return visit. Granted there were more patrons and the power was out. Still. Expect better from Jaxx.

What a lovely restaurant! We arrived at 19h50 (the kitchen closes at 20h00) and the waitress kindly let us order at 20h05. Not only that but the kitchen whipped up 4 great meals in under 25min including steak and chips and pasta ans chicken schnitzel. Would highly recommend!

Cozy, small restaurant In the middle of a paved, open air, tiny shopping centre. Lovely food. Service good. Warm pleasant fireplace for winter and umbrellas outside for summer. Unfortunately the kitchen noise is distracting so be sure to find a table in the opposite corner.

Had a 30th there. They were very accommodating and friendly. We all had a fantastic time and the food was absolutely lovely! Staff had nothing but smiles. Couldnt be happier with the service received.

A quaint place with good food, service was good and our steak was correctly done. Rather quiet for a Saturday evening, my wife and I were the only guests. Seems like they are far more busy during the day. I would visit again.

Always a favourite, Jaxx is magnetic in wintertime with its fire radiating warmth and comfort. Well supplied with electric plugs, it is an ideal place in which to work. Jaxx generates a pleasant atmosphere in which one can linger with friends.

Coffee is good, even though the espresso is minute! Eggs were ordered soft and arrived med, but the rest of the breakfast was good. Service is fair. Everything just seems to be such an effort from every one, although it all gets done...eventually. Dinner menu looks good, now that Uncle Bucks has closed well give it a try next time

Pleasant coffee shop that always has a pleasant vibe to it. A popular place where cyclists frequently enjoy a cup of good coffee after a good morning ride. Better known for their light meals, though full meals are also served throughout the day, including light breakfast and full breakfasts are available from their menu. This is a great little place to meet a friend or colleague for a cuppa.

Honestly amazing first time here and the waiter Sanele was so sweet and welcoming and made you feel so welcome. Not rude no attitude very friendly and goes beyond the duties required. Honestly an amazing experience. Works hard and quick on his feet thank you Sanele for an amazing experience.

Great service and good food at fair prices, and a nice little grass area outside with a small jungle gym for the little ones to play. Lost 1 star because the menu needs to be trimmed down, and the food took a bit longer than expected.

Ive always had good experiences at Jaxx, but the last few times it seems like the quality of the meals have been dropping.

Breakfast and service very good. Bacon used for breakfast not nice. Otherwise my breakfast was nearly spot on.

AMAZING, the best cappuccino between Durban and Johannesburg (or in the South coast). The dishes we had were delishious and as far as we could tell faultless. Highly recommendable for anyone.

Absolutely awful..Had lunch there today very disappointing..the chow mein had no vegetables and so salty with soya sauce, my husbands toasted cheese and tomato was a soggy mess with no cheese! Very unhelpful manager and shocking service...Will never go back again..

Shocking, had booked and Sunday 12.30 were told to sit any where, had a old lady of 98 years old with us, were told full bar facilities,??? . Service bad and no one checked to ask us about the meal .no smiling faces, Manager or owner sitting at a table not checking on staff.Over priced and would not recommend anyone,Fish for myself dried out! Over cooked and expected to pay for a sauce over the fish!!Would not recommend anyone, no vibe and feel it was take it or leave it.

Parents meals were fantastic but the burger I ordered was just not as per menu description . Really disappointed . Menu wording and descriptions need to be revised.

The food and service was about as average as you could get.
