I’ve never been disappointed by the Creation experience. Amazing food and wine and paired in ways that really accentuate both.But my latest visit was the first time I’ve been there as a parent and seen the venue through the eyes of someone with a child. While one might think such a sophisticated venue might be exclusive of children the opposite is true for Creation.They had a good changing station for our baby and provided a lovely high chair. Additionally they offer a full kids menu and even set a special appropriately sized table for another visiting family’s children!Wow! Thank you for a lovely afternoon and making sure we feel comfortable to keep coming back with our kids. We will always make an effort to visit the farm whenever we are in the area.

Absolutely stunning... The venue has breathtaking views of the moutains & lake... The restaurant & wine tasting are the best... The service was first class... The manager on duty was very accommodating for pets which was what we needed... Outdoor & indoor seating area but outdoor on the lawn was the best place to be...

Used to loved creation wines. Unfortunately was expecting a lot. Took the best wine and food pairing 500 rands. The pairing food and wines was disastrous the food was mehhh and some of the white wines were good but the reds far too young to drink and the rose was awful. The staff was ok. Creations wines when wines becomes all about the money no more about the love of the wine. Disappointing sad.

Booking. Is. ESSENTIAL. But for good reason. Fantastic service, great wines and views all around.They are a bit pricey compared to the other wine farms I have visited, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Described as kid friendly which is the reason we chose Creation. - very disappointing. Poor, depressing excuse for a play area. We had a waiter who didnt seem to know what was going on. It was a very annoying start to our experience so we left.

A great place to go for wine tasting. At first you take the Hemel-and-Aarde road from Hermanus to Creation Wines. You will not miss the road sign. The staff was very friendly. We took the 8 wine tastes combined with the 6 course meal. The food was excellent and the wine as well. The food was decorated in a very nice way. Next to wine tasting we also did some combined fruit and wine smelling, which was a nice experience. The taxi price is 250 Rand one way. This was the best wine tasting combined with a great meal I have ever experienced.

Creation wines is one of the most beautiful wine farms, the service was very much excellent, Artwel our wine advisor was very knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. We had wine tasting & brunch today at 10am. The view and scenery are absolutely breathtaking! Our waitress took wonderful care of us and was indeed very informative regarding wines and the menu itself.We are very disappointed though that the wine maker himself did not once bother to come to our table. He did venture to other tables and remained at the tables he visited for some lovely chats with the guests.

Perfect views here. The wine tasting experience is up there, better than most we have done. Louis who took us through the wine tasting experience is amazing, he was patient, friendly and knowledgeable as far as the various wines were concerned.The farm itself and the views are up there with the best anywhere in the Cape Winelands. Easily accessible.

Their new food and wine experience is amazing. I was worried that I would still be hungry afterwards but that was not the case. I walked away very satisfied.Their wines are extraordinarily and the staff is amazing. We regularly go once every two months or so and will definitely continue going back.

Everything here is a thrill to the senses. Imaginative food dishes, beautiful views of the surrounds. Attention to detail in everything they do, impeccable service. I was spoilt on my birthday with the most delicious chocolate brownies! Will definitely be back for more!

Voted Best Cellar Experience by Tim Atkin....I know why! Lots of cellars provide food and wine experiences but very few nail it like Creation. The ever changing Story of Creation blows me away every time. Well worth your time when in the Hemel-en-Aarde/Hermanus area.

Ahhh creation wines! You guys know how to make not just fab red wines but an equally fantastic port! They make wine tasting an art in itself! Their small dishes go perfectly with the wines. Philip was the perfect host as were his team! The cheese selection, the lamb and the duck breast were just divine! The views of the vineyard brought it all together! Hermanus is one to visit of you ever come to South Africa! The wines here? Love! Love!! Love!!

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, perfect food portions and sublime food. We had the confit duck baos, fillet steak, pork belly, croissant bread and butter pudding and pavlova. Everything was divine. Seriously, how often does that happen?

Not only is Creation mind blowing for its beautifu surroundings, but the food and wine can not be topped in my opinion. We had the 5 course food and wine pairing and every course was absolutely delectable. Our host went out of his way to spoil us and the birthday girl in our party. Even my 4 year old was served with the most delicious plate of kids food made to look smart which he devoured. Its certainly top on my list in the Western Cape for a place to celebrate with loved ones!

Creation Wines has the most incredible location with rolling green hills and exclusive artists showcasing incredible sculptures. The food is of international standards! I had the 5 course dining experience with the wine pairing which is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Some of the best wine I have tasted in the Western Cape of South Africa. Their beef is tender and succulent and definitely worth the visit out to this elegant establishment. The dessert is literally the cherry on top of this dining experience.Book and enjoy 👌

Lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon. Excellent wines paired with lovely food.

Creation is known for their good wines so we had to go for a tasting while in the area. They have a large variety of wines ranging from their MCC and Chardonnays to Pinot Noir and Syrahs. The tasting is set up so that you have free range to taste the wines you want as you pay per wine you taste, allowing a lot of flexibility. The lady that did our tasting was also friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. As the tasting is done in the restaurant it can get very busy and as they are a popular venue for events I recommend that if you want a quiet, relaxed experience that you rather visit them during the week. If however you can only visit over the weekend I recommend you make a booking.

So, we arrived at Creation Wine Farm looking forward to experience a wine and cheese pairing experience. It didn’t take long for our host Philip to ease us into a wine and food pairing, which was simply wonderful. Traipsing us through a six course meal (notably the dishes were suitably sized) accommodating my vegetarian wife, we were treated to a wonderful culinary treat while being introduced to the variety of Creation wines.In our opinion, this is not a wine farm to parachute in, taste wine and leave. Enjoy the hospitality and the scenery, while enjoying the experience of tasting their wines. You won’t be sorry.

The brunch was disappointing and overpriced. Do not go expecting an actual meal. The plates were especially small and unfilling, more canapes than real food. Go instead for wine tasting and enjoy a real meal at Spookfontein. Note that the brunch includes tastings of only white wines.

The best wine tasting experience in the world for sure; complete with a food and wine pairing. Such wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Always great to visit and enjoy the views over the vineyards while one explores and enjoys the wines from the estate. Should you prefer a la carte style menu just enquire.

It was truly exceptional as this was our first family outing since before lockdown even and I am so glad my daughters fiancé chose it for us making reservations. From the food to the service it was really the best. A pet friendly place where the pets come before the patrons, truly topnotch. The waitress offered water on our arrival and my daughter thought it was for the table but the waitress said it was for our doggie. Wow he got served before us and that is extraordinary.

We went to celebrate our 1st anniversary and i must say the service and food was exceptional. Our waitress was very attentive from beginning to end. We received an anniversary plate with some petit fours on which was so delicious and really unexpected to top that we received a small gift as part as a congratulation from our waitress. You couldnt go wrong with this restaurant lovely staff, food and drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant

I booked a wine and chocolate tasting and for what it cost (R150pp to taste 4 wines) it was a very disappointing experience. We were sat at a table and given welcome drinks (a nice touch) and then practically forgotten about. We waited 20 minutes for them to pour our wine tasters and then they forgot to bring is the chocolates and we waited another 20 minutes for these. The actual tasting and pairing was interesting and enjoyable by the time that we finally got our order. Overall I would not recommend this place purely due to the disappointing service, two stars for the quality of the tasting and the restaurant decor and location.

5 stars for service, 4 stars for wine, 2 stars for food. A missed opportunity to do far better.- Chicken plate was undercooked- Pork belly mashed potatoes were soggy- Deserts were boring. Simple requests for cream or ice cream were charged as extras.I thought the decor was also a bit ridiculous. They put framed award plaques at ankle height on the walls.Think more practically about where you are presenting your awards.

Really divine place with amazing food and staff

A beautiful wine farm and great restaurant but not 100% happy with their Covid protocols. Visited them this past Sunday. Restaurant packed to the brim, various waiters only half wearing masks allowing their noses to be exposed, one particular long-haired student wearing his mask around his chin and constantly touching his note and then serving guests thereafter. I am sure management/owners wouldnt want such a fine establishment to be ruined by ignorant and non-compliant staff if a Covid case had to arise due to something that is easily preventable if the correct measures are taken into consideration.

Fabulous place! We chose Creation for a birthday celebration lunch with friends. We had beautiful and delicious food pared with their amazing wine. We were well looked after by knowledgeable and caring staff. We enjoyed the creative buzz, the art on display, the whole atmosphere! We will certainly go back! …Don’t miss it when in the Hemel-en-Aarde area.

Creation Wines is probably one of the most hands on estate with their customers. You need to make a booking for their activities. This was our 3rd visit and every time were in awe of this beautiful gem. Their food are delicious as are their wines exceptional. The staff are efficient and friendly. You dont know what youre missing out on if you dont pay a visit to this estate. Theyre open 7 days a week.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch and wine tasting for our one year anniversary, topped off with a wonderful surprise course paired with Creations Port and MCC which truly made this a memorable and enjoyable experience.The attention to detail and extra mile which the staff went to to ensure that we enjoyed our special day was testament to their passion for their work and ensuring the enjoyment of their customers.11/10 would recommend and we will be back again. The first time we ate at creations, we enjoyed the three course meal option accompanied with wine tasting. We had this meal which although quite pricey but well worth it to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The meal was served with a bread course and a sorbet which effectively made it a five course meal. The five star chef prepared the most delicious, enjoyable and memorable dishes that I have ever eaten. The wine was smooth and delicious and we replenish our stock upon every visit to this breath taking area. Creations comes highly recommended and is a must visit experience.

The Food was awesome. The wine was Great. But we Paid the Menu that should have included 6 Dishes and 8 wine glasses. We got one complementary wine because we had to wait for our table and another 6 wines to the 6 dishes. When we asked for the bill I asked if we could have our last wine ( Which was only the 6 if you don’t count the complementary.) she was like oh you already had all the wines but you can have the port wine if you really want to. The table next to us had the exact same discussion.Food and wine was awesome!Main Service was ok - Service who „only“ brought the Food was really nice an friendly and answered all our questions.Would have gone there again at our way back to capetown but we are a little bit angry because of the misleading menu and the arrogant main service

A beautiful wine tasting experience! You pull up and see this beautiful lake with the mountains in the background. Staff are very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make your visit feel special. As we sat down we were offered a taste of wine and the host jokingly chirped that we do not like empty glasses here and kept filling us up even before we had chosen our wines to taste. Stylishly decorated wine tasting area/restaurant - The well placed art pieces give it that sophisticated touch. If you wish to pay them a visit on a Saturday, it would be best to make a booking to avoid disappointment (I booked a week in advance just to be safe). A must for any wine lover if you are visiting the Hermanus/Walker Bay Wine Region! Great tasting wines in a beautiful setting. I cannot wait to visit again!

We had the 6 course tasting menu -absolutely superb menu and food. Would have graced any table at a top end restaurant. For a UK visitor incredibly good value for money. Ended up buying some of the amazing Sauvignon. Proves the value of a tasting. Generous wine accompaniments. A must visit location

If you want a food experience on top of great wines, this is the place! My husband and I shared the charcuterie and cheese pairing boards/wines and were very chuffed. The food was not only lovely to look at, but tasted wonderful too. The wines are delicious and we would have loved to purchase a few bottles but they are a bit out of our price range. Service fantastic! A great experience overall.

Wonderful place for wine tasting and/or lunch. Their winemaker knows his stuff, we had the chance to interact with him at the local pinot festival for hemel en aarde recently. Their wines are complex and interesting, some of the best in the area in my opinion!

A most wonderful, friendly winery. We were treated to the tapas and wine pairing. Our grandson was entertained by the staff so that we could make the most of the experience. There is a well - appointed childrens room. The wine- tasting was a memorable experience which we can thoroughly recommend.
