Unmissable when you are in Hermanus. Freshly baked pastries, scones etc. Light lunches. Best ciabatta bread by a mile. Excellent service and staff.

Bagels were great, both breakfast and salmon options. Cheesecake was amazing too. Milkshake was really good. Smoothie was good too.

Came to work and had breakfast and 2 cups of coffee and breakfast on my laptop and someone else comes in and I have beeen asked to leave.If you want to work dont come here.Was here 2 days ago and they were quiet and they are happy for me to eat breakfast & lunch and pay the fees.Not cool

Fantastic service and the food is amazing!Oskars is one of my favorite places in Hermanus, they never disappoint and youre always greeted with a smile!

We have enjoyed Oskars Bakery since they first opened up in Hermanus several years ago and several location moves. We are grateful for their consistency in quality and some of our favourite menu items have remained. Had the best coleslaw type salad with the addition of corn, green beans, pomegranate, red onion and toasted flaked almonds! Scrumptious! Glad they have survived Lockdown!

The staff have been incredibly rude both times I have visited. I was also not allowed a laptop eventhough the restaurant was almost empty and I had ordered food and drinks. They also served me drinks without telling me they are about to close but then made me gulp down my drinks thereafter.

Love the simple variety of pastries sweet or savory with options of grilled, roasted tasty veggies or salads. Great coffee too with sunny indoor or outdoor seating.

Oskars is one of my favourite places to eat a warm breakfast or healthy lunch. They have a variety of baked goods and hot or cold drinks, and there is something for everyone - even n flourless chocolate cake! It can seat a lot of people, considering the size of the café. Oskars is perfect for a quick coffee and buttery croissant, and pleases me every time I go there. I recommend their Breakfast Bagel, or try their Iced Coffee.

Terrible customer service. I returned my cappuccino because the milk was sour and off. The lady I returned it to, who appeared to the owner, judging by her arrogant and controlling behavior, was dismissive and unapologetic. She never apologized to me and worse still proceeded to blame other staff. I will certainly not return.

Perfect chicken pie and carrot cake to delight in! Coffee from Deluxe roastery in Cape Town - arguably the best coffee in the cape. Lovely place.

A pleasant breakfast experience. The food was superb. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed. The bears breakfast was scrumptious! Only negative critique: the French toast was perhaps a little under-topped with bacon and banana for the amount of toast. Would certainly recommend this place though.

Fantastic for a quick bite to eat, very good coffees, sit-down or take-away. Also a healthy but scrumptious lunch buffet and freshly baked bread to take home.Lively vibe, soft music in the background and lots of laughter. Just a bit small, but on sunny days one can sit outside and leisurely watch the world go by.

Very well presented restaurant with lovely choice of food. Relaxing and well worth a visit.

What an unfortunate experience at this little establishment. No service. No offering by any waiters to sit. No greeting and no pleasantries. What a disappointment. Walked away and sat down to the warmest restaurant in this town, The Cuckoo Tree.

Excellent choice for a light lunch of soup and/or salad in Hermanus, where most restaurants only seem to serve full board meals at a time of day when light is right. Soup + salad + crusty bread + good service for under R120!

Great coffee and pastries/cakes, but frustratingly has incorrect information on Google. When you call the number: The number you have dialled does not exist... and it says theyre open on Sundays, which theyre not.

Good breakfast. Only place open on New Years day, so staff was under pressure. But still managed a good meal.

Open and inviting setting with good location! Enjoyed the fresh muffins and cappuccinos.

Were locals and we keep coming back for more. The Sunday buffet is always excellent and great value for money. The milkshakes are my personal favourite, with flavours like peanut butter, nougat, and real strawberries and cream with real strawberries.

Baked goods are lovely. Serving good coffee as well.

Excellent coffee. They have lovely muffins, scones and pasteries. They also serve light meals but its not halaal. It gets very busy so dont be disappointed if you have to wait or come back at another time.

I loved it, vibrant and good value

We spent half of the day there, we never felt rushed and tried many things from breakfast cakes to lunch meals and everything was delicious. They have free wifi, the staff was really nice, the place is cute and in the centre of the town.
