Nothing beats lunch with a view!! Such a great vibe. Cant wait to come back.The coffee and chia latte were out of this world! The cafe mocha was hands down the best Ive ever had! Warm roast vegetable salad! Oh my goodness, who would have thought! AMAZING 🤌🏻

We stopped here for coffee because of the rain. We have previously tried to obtain a table for 5 people at coffee time but failed as its very popular. This was a couple of months ago in good weather .During this pandemic the owners have clearly done a good job of table spacing and although we were perhaps a little closer than 2 metres apart from the next table it was a comfortable 1.5 m away, or thereabouts.The coffee was excellent and my husband had a scone with some excellent jam, and cream ( of course).The service was friendly but not overbearing.

This place turned out to be the perfect breakfast place for us. Huge variety of food and freshly pressed juices. The staff were fantastic. Located on marine drive with fab views of the bay. Definitely worth a visit. The owner was a lovely lady with a wealth of information on where to visit in surrounding towns, the whales common to the area, how to get a taxi. She was brilliant!

Friendly bistro that has a warm European feel. Organic, seasonal and free range. They cater for all dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan. Food with integrity - oh, and an amazing view.

Choose this place because of its good reviews and healthy vegetarian options. Was not disappointed. Had one of the daily specials: spinach, lentil and chickpea curry. Was delicious! Word of recommendation: make a reservation for dinner. We arrived early at 6pm without a reservation and got one of the only tables not reserved. The table was small and seating was side-by-side, but we had a view directly onto the ocean, one of the best seats in the house. Friendly staff and a nice boutique at the back with homemade natural products.

If amazing breakfast is what youre after, then do not go past the Just Pure Bistro! If youre a french-toast lover, you have to try the french toast with berry compote & crème fraiche - YUM! The atmosphere is warm, homely and cosy, the staff friendly and the food absolutely delicious!

Get there early or be willing to wait, because it gets really busy, and its no wonder why. The food is wholesome, fresh and delicious. You will be spoilt for choice. Service is efficient and they make an effort to accommodate you. Its worth taking a browse through their store to see the delightful offerings.

We have been eating breakfast at the Bistro for our entire stay in Hermanus. The lunches have also been great beautiful view and great friendly service.

Such a hidden gem in Hermanus. Today was my 3rd visit there, and I specifically went for the roasted veg salad which I enjoyed tremendously with the previous visit. Its always a gamble to find a table because it is such a popular little hideaway for what seems to be mostly local patrons, but also a good representation of tourists. Fantastic menu with lots of healthy a options with a wine list that will even satisfy the connoisseur. Friendly staff, stunning seaviews right in feont of you - definitely one of the top 3 places in Hermanus. Love this place.

High quality, tasty foods and fresh juices. Cakes are heavy but not overly sweet and well balanced. Perfect service. Went there for breakfast. Overall much better than the current 4.2 rating compared to other places in Hermanus

Sitting outside, on a good day and enjoying the view, I think that this might be the best location in Hermanus. Not as busy and touristy as Old Harbour. Good coffee, fresh salads, tasty cakes. Easy to see why its also popular with locals.

Well. I will start with the good parts. Food is good and the location is pretty. The service however, is quite atrocious. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I was eventually able to convince them to let me into a table, even though there was space available. My meal took an ungodly amount of time to arrive. When questioned about why it was taking so long, the staff kept telling me it was on its way. This was a lie and we waited for over 45 minutes. I suspect they forgot to put the order through. The staff were incredibly rude. It is such a pity because the food was good.. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you’re willing to wait for a long time .

If not for view, would not have gotten any stars... Worst service, manager was utterly rude. Drinks took more then 45min...Food took more than an hour...food was cold, mediocre... Loved it 1st few times, wanted to take my husband for an awesome experience, but was not what was expected. Would definitely not visit them again. View will always be amazing, but that is nature and location, not service.

Two stars primarily for the view, otherwise the food and service would warrant zero stars. The waitress rushed to get our order in so that we could beat a big table. We ordered before them but still waited over forty minutes to get out meal as the big group was all served before us. The waitress said to be accommodating as I was vegetarian - I asked for a smashed avocado toast with tomatoes. Waited forty minutes to get a slice of toast with partially browned sliced avocados with absolutely no flavor or seasoning whatsoever! It’s a great view but way Over priced and super long wait for a diced of toast and sliced avocados.

Truly lovely cafe experience. The cheesecake is decadent for sure! Banana milkshakes are to die for... And of course there is the view of the sea.

Nice location and nice food but were unfortunately spoiled by the following:Were really enjoying ourselves until all tables were taken inside (still available outside) and new customers arrived.Instead of asking the new customers to kindly wait for an opening table, we were made really uncomfortable by being asked not once but twice, whether the new customers could be seated at our table sharing with us since we had open seats at our table... Not even in the Spur have I been asked that! After this I had to even explain why I would prefer having a private conversation with my mother whom I see once every 3 months.Will not return because of their sausage machine mentality.

Had lunch there. Beautiful view of the waves crashing in on the rocks over the road. The place was packed. Very popular. We waited on the couch for a table to be ready and were looked after. The kingclip I had was divine! Friend and hubby both had different dishes - both very well presented and really tasty. The wait for the food was a bit long though but well worth the wait.

You know how food tends to taste better when youre starving? Well, not here. We had to wait over 30mins for our food which were not difficult to prepare (burger and chicken sandwich). Both the burger and sandwich were sweetened till the point that the meat could not be tasted. This place is truly the epitome of quantity over quality - large portions of lousy food, and too many service staff just waiting around and chatting. The outdoor area was even closed for no good reason (Im guessing because they dont want to wait on tables both indoors and outdoors). Oh and the cafe was at 25% capacity, they werent swamped in any way. The one star is for the coffee which was not too bad.
