Nicest bar in Hermanus. Good beer and nice atmosphere!

We went there for some lunch only to be told that the kitchen wasnt open - at 1pm. As an owner, when 5 people walk in with a couple of hundred Rand to spend, you tell them to sit down and have a drink while you open the kitchen. Looks like a nice place and did come highly recommended but an attitude like the one we were greeted with gets you 1 star.

Well, the only words I can use are super fantastic. Service is good and people are friendly. One honestly feels welcome and at home. Drinks are well priced and their steak, egg and chips....... fit for a long. Well done to you all. 👌👌

Popped in during Artwalk - enjoyed a great artisan style beer. Lovely atmosphere with a great courtyard in the back convenient for private functions. Close to the ocean as well

Just wanting something to nibble on and share a glass of wine and beer, we enjoyed a Seafood basket and a Chicken basket at Dans Bluebuck Bar in Harbour Road, Hermanus. It was not only delicious but excellent value for money. This is definitely THE bar to visit when you are in Hermanus. Dan is a legend and a host par excellence. During our first visit a party of older distinguished people celebrated a birthday there while a group of young Americans visited the bar to have a Sringbokkie and bid Dan farewell. This is a kuierplek for young and old.

Great terrace and very good food. The burgers are huge and the fish & chips are very good. Adorable welcome by the general manager.All thats missing is a sea view to make everything perfect.
