Beautiful setting but need to improve their recipes. Very friendly staff with a good sense of humor.

Very extensive menu. Great food with excellent value for money. The eisbein was fall-apart tender with a crispy skin, the chicken was flavourful and juicy. The trainee Waitron was good and willing to check on anything he did not know. He is going to be an awesome Waitron.

My Place of choice in Heidelberg. Nice imported German Beers, Excellent menu selection and fair pricing. I Will give you 5stars for weekends and 2stars for weekdays. Definitely a different place over weekends than during the week.

The Goulash Soup was a Bolognese sauce with a Bay Leaf and got nothing to do with the original meal.Chicken Schnitzel was quite well.Waiter didnt make a good job.- Forgot our order and drinks, forgot a spoon for the soup and the cutlery for the main dish.The place was okay but for me it was nicer to sit infront of the train wagon next to the fountain. For festivals and events i can imagine that it is better in the backyard.We will try it again soon.

Nice idea. A lot of seating available inside the venue, outside under the trees and in the old trains. Very nice an cozy. The restaurant has a very nice selection of local brewed beers. The porions are big and the prices are not to bad. This is a very nice family restaurant where you and your family can spend time with each other and have a nice meal. Unfortunately I ordered a feta and avo burger got a raw patty with 3 small bloks of feta and a tablespoon of avo, wich is strange because thats the two main ingredients. But I still had a nice experience at the restaurant.

The restaurant is under new ownership, the new place, Adlers, is focused on German dishes. Pasta is a thing that has fallen away. The chocolate cake was a little wild with the lemon juice. Food still takes a very long time, this time I just do not know if it is worth it.
